This is yet another Burger King where the unsupervised employees ignore customers at the counter as they focus on serving drive-through customers. I waited several minutes and was ignored by several employees working in close proximity. They avoided eye contact and didn't acknowledge my presence in any way. When I noticed several agitated-looking people near the soda fountain who had apparently ordered but not received their food I left. BURGER KING HAS A CHRONIC F-ING PROBLEM AT MULTIPLE LOCATIONS WITH EMPLOYEES WHO SEEM UNAWARE THAT THERE IS A COUNTER WHERE CUSTOMERS APPEAR TO PLACE ORDERS. First time coming here, wanted to grab some Whopper Jr. Specials before making my way home and it was conveniently next to a gas station I was at. The drive thru was completely backed up but nobody was inside. Got my order made and back on the road in 30 seconds after making my transaction. Staff here wasn't the most friendliest, bathrooms weren't the cleanest but the store and kitchen are immaculate. Wouldn't mind coming back here. read more

Burger King was once the royal court of fast food, but my recent visit felt more like a descent into a greasy medieval dungeon. It all began with the drive-thru, where the speaker crackled so violently it could have been mistaken for a heavy metal concert underwater. I placed a simple order--a Whopper, fries, and a soda--and was assured it would be "right out." Fifteen agonizing minutes later, I was handed a paper bag that looked as if it had survived a grease explosion. The Whopper itself was a crime against sandwiches. The patty was thinner than my will to live during the wait, and it had a disturbing grayish hue that made me question its origin. The lettuce was wilted, the tomato was more water than flesh, and the mayonnaise was slathered on with the subtlety of a toddler finger-painting. To add insult to injury, the bun was stale enough to double as a self-defense weapon. I took one bite and instantly regretted every decision that led me to that moment. The fries were another travesty. They had all the texture of damp cardboard and the flavor of forgotten freezer burn. Each limp, pale fry seemed to be daring me to finish them, and I did only because I enjoy self-sabotage. Their only saving grace was the packet of ketchup, which might have been fresher than anything else in the meal. That's not saying much considering the ketchup had an expiration date in three months. The soda machine must have been running on fumes because my drink tasted like a carbonated puddle. It was watered down to the point of irrelevance, leaving me with a faint aftertaste of disappointment and a burning question: how does one mess up soda? Even the ice cubes seemed disheveled, melting into sad little blobs before they could do their job. All in all, this experience was a culinary horror show. Burger King has fallen from grace, delivering an experience so abysmal it might as well have been a practical joke. If you're looking for fast food royalty, keep driving. This King has abdicated, and its kingdom is in ruins. read more

And my cookies today ( 10/05/23 ) undercooked could still see uncooked cookie dough and she continued to argue with me bout how I don't know how to bake cookies lmao I laughed and continued to complain cause I wanted a new batch of cookies after waiting ( 8minutes ) the sweet older lady gave me a free drink for waiting after waiting I went in when I seen what I got in my bag and it was now 12ish min I wasted gas sitting in my car for mashed cookies not even cooked. So this location your service varies depending on which shift is working. The morning shift is great. After I get off work around 5pm though I steer clear. I see this burger king has shit reviews and they seem to be from a yr ago. I can only say that it must have had a complete revamp because its been nothing but the best BK I've ever eaten at. Now I've been going here since July of 2021. I've eatn here pretty much 3 times a month since July its always a Saturday and either lunch time or late like 7pm - 9pm. I swear my food is always correct and HOT! to the point of frys will burn your mouth and burgers to. This is really amazing to me as most fast food especially burger kings are usually cold to warmish. So I hope they keep it up. Also the service is excellent. These kids do everything correctly and are friendly. I've seen them wipe my drink down before they hand it to me if it overflows. Pretty rare these days. So kudos to the manager and his staff. The manager employed at the date of 12/13/19 showed lots of PDA even when requested to stop. :/ I wouldn't go here if you're trying to make it in time for closing because they always close early. Horrible disrespectful employees from Wilmington's Burger King. A friend of the family went to get a takeout and since he does not own a car he went in the restaurant to order his food for TAKEOUT but the employees asked him to leave without even letting him talk or explain himself. The employees told him it was only drive thru service so he thought of walking by the drive thru because AGAIN, he does not have a car and all he wanted was to EAT! So when he went by the drive thru the rejected him and denied the service and was asked to leave. Once he started walking away all of the employees were watching him by the window laughing and making fun of him. I live in Wilmington IL and have not ate at Burger King in a few years do to a bad experience. on Friday 10/23/2020 my wife was going to the store and I told her to stop at Burger King and get a couple of Whoppers something different for a change. we ate them as soon as we got home and they were cold and seemed to be old I should have known better and just dumped them in the garbage, but went ahead and ate them. sur enough it wasn't 15 minutes later and we had diarrhea that has lasted late into the evening and who knows how much longer. well needless to say we will never never eat at a Burger King again. read more

I've always liked Burger King, ever since it started when I was a kid. We were always hungry, and every Burger King I've ever been to was uniformly good. Until, that is, I came to the Burger King at 715 W. Baltimore St. in Wilmington, IL Wow! I was shocked at how bad this place is. I was SO disappointed by the overall atmosphere of the place. The employees seemed to be fighting with one another, the place had a 'run down' look to it, and they cheated me out of the fries, or coffee that comes with the sandwiches, which are listed on big pictures on the walls of the place. The pictures clearly show an item, what comes with it, and the price of the item. But they don't give you the fries. At first, I thought it was just an oversight and returned to the counter to get the missing fries. But the guy told me that the signs are wrong. Overall, I'd describe the service of this place as surly, such that I contacted Burger King Corporate, in Florida. They were NO help. Something about the location being privately-owned. I don't go to Burger King anymore. The problems at the franchise's Wilmington location are local, in nature, but the response I got from their corporate office tells me that the problem is company-wide. read more

Went to Burger King today for lunch. Noticed a sign on the window that said $5 gift card if you don't get a receipt. I got my order and the manager was short with me as is they were busy and there wasn't a car in sight. I got my order and when I got home I looked for THAT RECEIPT they were supposed to give me and it was nowhere in sight! I wanted the phone # to call and complain! I looked up the phone # in the phone book and the number there is a Fax number. By now I am really mad so I call information to get the phone number and all they have is the same number(which is the FAX #). Fries tasted like they had been sitting for quite a while, the buns on our Wopper Jrs were stale, and the burger was cold. The sandwiches were thrown together. They don't even care enough to find out what their customer thinks of their food. OMG Went there late night at about 9 pm (passing through) because I was starving and nothing else was open. Not only did they get my order wrong, but the manager AND one of the cooks spent most of the time SCREAMING at each other! Really, just screaming and yelling back and forth they were so angry with each other.
