This Taco Bell is a DISASTER. The food is consistently old and poorly made. I recently got a taco that was FULLY unwrapped and carelessly thrown into my bag. The worst part is this isn't the first time. Or the last time The staff clearly doesn't care about quality or customer satisfaction; they just slap things together. It is unbelievably disguising that my food isn't wrapped half the time. I actually drive to Taco Bells in Joliet, Bradley, or Morris to avoid this place. That's wayyy out of my way. Hopefully, things will improve, but right now, it's a waste of money and time. Also, I understand customer service can be tough, but the eye-rolling and attitude over simple orders are unacceptable. Don't take your frustrations out on the customers. The brunette during the afternoons rolled her eyes at me while I was placing my order AND when I came up to tell her it was made wrong. I want to say, this place has come really far with the staffing changes! When I moved here 2 years ago we used to dread it knowing we'd have to wait 20-30+ minutes for our food and often be missing items. I got upset once because the workers closed over an hour early and ducked behind the register when I pulled through. Really immature. As of late, the staff has been friendly and quick. It's down to a 10-15 minute wait and I haven't had a missing item yet. It is Taco Bell and I don't expect everyday to be perfect, but wanted to say I'm pleasantly surprised with the upward transition this location is having! Good job guys!! read more

We were driving back from Central Illinois and decided to stop at Taco Bell for a snack. The store is spotless. The staff were friendly and the food was good. I'm not anti Taco Bell. No. It isn't authentic Mexican food. It's Taco Bell. I had a Nacho Bell Grande and a grilled cheese steak burrito. I have to admit I like that they have a diet Baja Blast. It's nice to get a non Cola for a change. I also like their Diablo sauce which has a hint of lime. Again. Reviewing Taco Bell at 5v a tars is saying excellent gadt food. Okay. Fast food it's not. The quality of the food is good as we've never had anything taste bad, but... The drive through is always backed up for some reason. To top it off, they've messed up by missing meals that I've ordered by either not typing it in or not putting it in a bag. I'd have checked the bag at the window during today's visit, but sitting for 40 minutes in line kind of puts me off. And even if I did check, god knows how long it'd be to get the last item. Took my wife a LONG time to get the order through the drive thru. She gets home, 2 of the 4 orders were right. The other 2 orders were just random stuff thrown in the bag. Not even remotely close to what she ordered. Now she has to go back to get the right stuff we were suppose to get in the first place. She should've checked it I guess but, should you really have to check the order you just placed? It's not the telephone game. Communication shouldn't be that poor. I'm sure they will resolve it but the point is she shouldn't have to go back to get our correct order, it should've been correct in the first place. I know it's difficult during a pandemic but we ordered a chalupa supreme with no meat but instead beans. We were in the drive thru because the inside isn't open. So we get the food and on the chalupa is only lettuce and sour cream nothing else. So we go back into the drive thru long line and ask for another one and they end up saying that we the customers didn't say beans. Arrived in the drive thru line at 703, placed order at 716, received order at 722. Just short of 20 mins so I give them credit last time I was in line for 21 mins. Management has to be clueless because it looks like it's been slow since January. To think...these folks want 15 bucks an hour? It's laughable. I love the place has an excellent decor. If there is a problem with your food the manager will come out apologize for what happened. Then give you new food or a discount for the mistake. Food comes out fast hot and is freshly made. read more
