Very cute burger joint. From what Inread inside, it's family owned, which I love!! This is a small casual spot and we went on a day where we were able to sit outside on thier outdoor picnic tables. We were a group of ten or so, including about seven young boys who had just won a football game. we were all pretty hungry!! Burgers are small, but they offer a double burger option which is very popular these days and I understand why. Burgers were tasty and fries were good too, the kids had no complaints. I liked the burger, but I can easily say it was not my favorite burgers. If you are looking for a big juicy burger full of flavor, like served at a diner or Jackson Hole, just understand this is a different experience. The prices here are reasonable and you get your moneys work. One of the moms ordered a hot fried chicken sandwich and it was basically a frozen chicken breast/tender marinated in a buffalo sauce ... she ate the sandwich, but said she would not order again. This place has been around for a while and is a nice local option in Island Park for a quick bite. The servers behind the counter were all friendly and brought the food out in a timely matter. Really great burger joint! This is the perfect casual place to stop and get an amazing burger and shake! Both me and my mom got the turkey burger, she got sautéed onions and I got sautéed mushrooms. We ended up splitting the toppings so that we could experience both, and it was perfect! I had mine without the Mayo but added honey mustard on the side. My little one got a regular burger and it was the perfect size! We also got the fries and my little one said they were the best they ever had!! They were thick and crispy and perfect! We shared one order and it was plenty! We also got an Oreo cookie shake with chocolate ice cream for dessert.... Which hit the spot! Jared at the counter couldn't have been nicer and let my little one chat up a storm while waiting for our meal! They have board games inside that you can take outside to the tables and play before or after (or during) your meal! The renovations to moo burger are real cute but they need to make some changes to the food as well. The service seems chaotic. We got the jalapeño cheddar and the hangover burgers. The burgers were pretty dry. The brioche buns were a nice touch. The hangover burger was really greasy from the bacon. The bacon could've been more crispy. The moo sauce was very good as well as the fries. The onion rings were also way too greasy. I've had a shake on a separate occasion but was waiting to write a review when I've had the food. Big mistake; I should've gone to Wendy's just a couple of blocks away. Moo burger needs to use a little moo seasoning on just about everything. The Burger was greasy atop a soggy bottom bun. And the fries, using flour to attempt to make them crispy just made them as weird in texture as they were bland in taste. I mean, if you're going to open a trendy burger spot that charges double the price of some good fast food, could you at least be good? read more

Edit: reduced the review to 1 star after the restaurant denied a refund for the food that was bad. Thankfully Seamless stepped in a little. Onion rings and fried pickles lacked seasoning. The hot dogs were ok but overpriced and over cooked. The Bacon cheese burger was very well done and not medium. The chili was "not chili, just cold meat sauce" according to my boyfriend. We Ordered through Seamless. This is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1. The food was cold, soggy, and overcooked but that could have been a long delivery issue with the Seamless driver. "This is such a cute place," we all said. I came here with my cousins from the Midwest, and they felt right at home, like back in the Heartland. They got the Aloha Burger, a Bacon Cheese Burger, and Chili Cheese fries, which they loved so much that they called home about it. I am under instructions from my doctor to eat healthy, so I was pleasantly surprised and enormously pleased that they had a vegan cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. The workers are very pleasant and brought our food out to is. This place has games for the kids and is fun for adults too. They even have a turkey burger! Can't beat the price! Great burgers and onion rings. It's a small eatery with side bar seating. But its a nice clean place. Handicap accessibility is good. I'm gonna be honest: This place been open for awhile and I've avoided it bc of the prices and mixed reviews but decided to try it today. I understand that the restaurant is 20 min away from where I live so maybe the door dasher had another delivery. Honestly not sure. This Grand Moo Bacon Cheeseburger had like 1 slice of bacon on it, the burger was cooked the way I wanted it but I'm not sure why it had an off putting smell and taste when I tried it by itself. I was really hungry, so I truly ate it even though it did not taste great at all; was like Big Mac tasting honestly. The sweet potato fries were good but super soggy which I expected bc it's delivery and the Moo Sauce is nasty af and I think it needs a recipe revamp, tasted like cocktail sauce or something so weird and I def wish I didn't get it on the burger. The thing that really ticked me off is that they charge 3.25$ on DoorDash for a Coke which I was under the impression from the price and the picture was going to be a bottle but it was a tiny little soda like from a pizza joint. The only place worse than this so far is Burger Shack in Lynbrook. You guys have been open for a long time, I think you can do better than this. Always on the hunt for the perfect cheeseburger we landed at Moo Burger last night. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The Grand Moo with Mushrooms and Swiss was simple and savory. Cooked perfectly! I paired this with a side of Onion Rings. I could only eat two because of the size of the burger but these rings were possibly the best I ever had. Tried for the first time yesterday although I pass this place quite often. It's usually crowded, which is a good thing, so I've never stopped in. It was great. The offerings are great. They have kids meals which makes it easy unlike other burger places that force you to get regular sized meals for not regular sized little people. . The burgers are good, made the way you like. They move pretty fast and the shakes are delicious. Definitely our new spot. Would love to see offerings of some fun toppings. Maybe they could be changed per month. I didn't have a great experience here and I'm very disappointed in the customer service that was displayed towards me today 11/4/23 @3:00 -3:45 the cashier was very rude and kind of a prick . I handed him my money twice and he still put it on the counter and walked away not back in my hand . He messed up and then blamed it on me as if did something wrong and then responds I can run the tape back as if I had something to hide when he clearly just misheard me because he was talking to someone behind me about football which clearly was more important than him getting my order correct instead he choose to blame me for his mistake . This new burger place is everything a fast food restaurant should be. The food is quality- the burgers are so flavorful. I don't think any other fast food chain burger compares to the taste. And I loved the chicken fingers, they're huge and super crispy. Of course, I had to get a milk shake. The mint chip is amazing, I was so full but had to finish it all because it was so tasty. The staff was also incredibly friendly. They were all very peppy and happy to be at work. Gave off a great vibe. OVERALL - The food is amazing and the price is even better. More and more I'm trying to eat local and not chain restaurants that use processed or frozen food. Tried this place a few months ago it was ok. Decided to try again tonight. What a dissapointment. The teenage girl at the register quickly became frazzled as 6 people came in after us. The cooked looked annoyed and miserable. We ordered a shake. Instead of making our shake right after we ordered she ended up making it after our food was done and bagged. And was quite slow scooping the ice cream and just in general. Last time we thought the burgers were good. The onions rings were good and the fries not so much. We knew both was frozen. It's to be expected in most places. But what a disappointment to see the cook hoisting a bag of frozen burger patties onto the counter. But I guess that's how you get a $3.00 Burger. Which is ok. Just ok. I really just wish more people would make real good. Open a McDonald's if you want to serve all frozen foods and have terrible service to boot. read more

Moo Burger has a smaller menu that they execute very well. Their burgers and ingredients always are fresh and tasty, and their chicken tenders are some of the best I've ever had. Fries and onion rings are fantastic as well, and I look forward to trying the rest of the menu. On top of that, I ordered through DoorDash for pickup, and in the 15 mins leading up to the pick up had a family emergency come about, and I wasn't able to pick up the already paid for food. Shane the owner called my wife hours later at closing to express his regret for our situation and to let us know that he left us a gift certificate for the full amount that we paid. This man had no obligation to give us anything for our bad luck, but instead went out of his way to do the right thing by a customer. I recently ordered some food from here. Nothing fancy just a burger and onion rings. The burger was a let down. Best way to put it was a $4 version of a McDonalds $1 burger. Patty was a puny 1/8 of a pound. Looked like it was assembled in a rush. Only real difference was the bun was better. So I paid for a nice bun but no burger. The onion rings tasted bland. No flavor to be had outside of the sauce they gave you. Only good thing was that they were crispy. Worst of it all was the price. The price was roughly $10 for my meal and it didnt fill me. I can spend the same amount at a diner and at least be full by the end of it. If you wan't a quick and cheaper burger go to McDonalds. First time here, most likely my last. My son and I stopped but for lunch today. Dined at the counter. We ordered 2 Moo Burgers with cheese. We did wait a bit but not too long. The burgers were really over cooked. I picked off the burned edges of the very very thin beef patty (think White Castle thin). The loaded fries good but skip the special sauce ( mayo, ketchup type sauce). The owner stopped in and complained a bit about adding ice to the soda machine and about various other things- should not do that in front if customers. Very disappointed read more
