Had lunch at this Butgerfi and the staff was pretty nice and friendly…read more I loved the spicy veggie burger I ordered. It was just the right amount of spice! Very tasty but not insulting to the taste buds! Super soft burger bun and real fresh ingredients! I also got a side of French fries with spice on them. The spice was a bit too salty for me but the fries were fire!! Had to get a fountain drink which I wasn't too happy with the choices. I would like it they offered better drinks. They have fountain drinks like Coke and Minute Maid Lemonade and other coca cola drinks including root beer. So I would love to see more natural juices, refresher water or iced teas. I think that would compliment their burgers really well! Another thing to consider is the prices of these burgers. They run about $9-$11 plus the fries ( individual size $4.99), and drink $3. Plus the tax and tip you end up paying about $20-22 for a burger combo. So it's a cool place for adults but I would be curious to see how much a family of 4 or more would spend here..$100...$120? Because of those 2 things I gave them 4 out of 5 stars! The drinks are definitely needed. You're going to lose clientele or money from people who either won't drink the fountain drinks or the healthier ones who'll bring their own water bottle.. P.S. I forgot to take pictures! Their food is excellent no complaints about it!

I stopped by the Miami Lakes location for a quick lunch and ordered a single BFI cheeseburger and…read morefries. Unfortunately, the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. I placed my order at the kiosk and selected the option to pay with cash, but the kiosk didn't seem to process that choice correctly. When I asked the cashier if she could pull up my order on her screen, a manager from the back stated that it couldn't be viewed and would have to be entered manually at the register. The cashier took a photo of my order, and I clearly told her the order was to go before she entered it into the system. The kiosk total was about $16, but when the order was manually entered at the register, the total came to nearly $30. When I questioned the difference, the General Manager had to step in, remove several selections, and correct the order. After paying, I waited for my food. During that time, I observed the cashier cleaning around the trash bins and condiment station. About five minutes later, she brought my food out on a tray and placed it on the table. I reminded her that the order was supposed to be to go. I then walked to the counter, where I watched her pick up my hamburger with her bare hands and place it into a takeout box. That was the most concerning part of the visit. This was the same employee who had been handling cash, cleaning around trash receptacles, and then handling food without gloves. I immediately brought the issue to the General Manager's attention because basic food-handling and sanitation practices should never be overlooked. He said "We'll do better next time"? LIKE WHAT?? What should have been a quick "in-and-out" lunch turned into an unnecessarily long and disappointing experience. Between the kiosk issues, pricing confusion, order mistakes, and food-handling concerns, this visit fell far below expectations. I hope management takes a serious look at both the ordering process and food safety procedures at this location.

They are over 30 minutes away from me, but I never hesitate to go when I'm craving some real Dominican street food. Their Picadera con proteínas is my go-to. They have different options for the protein and the sides for you to choose from. I always do Tostones with pechurinas (fried chicken), longaniza, carne de res, or cerdo frita. My mom loves their orejitas. When I'm craving a chimi, they are my go-to. They also have a special for chimis on Wednesday. I love their empanadas; they have an authentic Dominican flavor. Their empanada de pollo or pizza are my two favorites. Their Yaroas are excellent and very loaded. Their Rebulu fries are the perfect Dominican-style loaded fries. My family also enjoys their kipes. I can go on forever on what to try from them, but all I can say is that if you are looking for good flavor, quality, and feel of Dominican style food De Lo Mio is the place to go.
