For fast food, hamburger place this might be one of the better ones in Miami. It is your typical smash burgers, but they are seasoned well and it is fire. Be prepared to wait, though it is in Wynwood and the line is always pretty long. They have so many reviews at the restaurant and I can see why the fries are also decent better than In-N-Out Burger lol price wise is a little bit more than what I would pay for a Smashburger, but definitely worth it in my opinion. The shakes are also decent too.
Now the vibes are immaculate, the service is great. The look of the place is very retro. However, I ordered an apple wood smoked bacon burger and tasted nothing like what i thought it was supposed to, the bacon was hard and not the good crispy kind. The sauce was good and the fries were way better.
Saw reviews on this place as I was leaving NYC and saw they have one in Miami. When I was in Miami, I made it a priority to go there. Went after a fancy night out, in my fancy dress lol. It was great late night treat, but omg the wait time was pretty insane especially because everything and everyone seems to be moving so fast. They have a small eating area inside and a small patio outside. I got the classic Louie with fries and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't too greasy and reminded me of an elevated and much better McDonalds. I could tell the patty is fresh beef. I enjoyed it and hope they come to ATL. Please!
Love skinny Louie so much. Can never have a bad experience here. The burgers are always soo good and greasy, just what you want. The fries are super thin and crispy, and I always get a side order of sauce to dip them in. I've never gotten a milkshake myself but I tried my friends cookies and cream one and it was bomb. Seating is definitely light and it's usually busy, but we were able to snag a table today. They have seating both indoors and outdoors, however, indoors is only counter seating and it's pretty small and can get crowded in there so it's not a vibe.
This burger was delicious! I also loved the location. it has that nostalgic old-school diner feel, kind of like Johnny Rockets. Being from California, I'd describe the burger as a cross between In-N-Out and Big Mac, but with its own twist. The flavors were on point, the quality was great, and it definitely hit the spot. 10/10, I'd absolutely recommend giving this place a try!

After walking the first night of Art Miami week (7600+ steps) to see one of the big art exhibits as well as various streetside installations in Wynwood, I was starving! It was late at night, and I wasn't overly dressed up and ended up at Skinny Louie for a quick yummy bite. I mean, you can never go wrong with a burger! I will admit I'm a purist when it comes to having some green stuff (lettuce & tomato) but I was pleasantly surprised! The bun was fluffy, they customized my burger to omit the pickles and sauce, and the patty had a deliciously smoky flavor. The fries had just the right amount of crisp, and of course I indulge in dessert. Go for their very rich strawberry shake, you will take me later if you are a dessert fiend like yours truly.

My friend is vegetarian and even she got to enjoy a burger from here -- we loved the service and the loud music playing made it even funner and great to end your night out at!

Skinny Louie has only 3 burgers on the menu. There is an impossible burger option as well as a gluten free bun option. I ordered the Skinny Louie cheeseburger. It was tender, tasty and fresh. The fries were pretty good, skinny and crunchy. I also really loved the cookies and cream milkshake. The only downside was that it took over 45 minutes to get our order when we went to go eat there on a Sunday evening. We were starving by the time we got our food. This was a bit frustrating. It was extremely packed when we went to eat here and very loud. Interior decor feels like a vintage diner. A must eat spot if you're in need of a tasty smash burger.
Great smashburger. Located in the heart of the Wynwood neighborhood. The Burger was perfectly crispy and service was good. The line can get really long but typically moves fast.

Skinny Louie's in Wynwood is a super solid spot when you want great food in a cool, laid-back setting. The vibe is fun and casual, there's a nice amount of seating so you're not awkwardly hovering with your tray, and the staff is genuinely friendly and keeps the line moving. The food is the star. everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and worth the hype, but it can get slammed during peak times and the wait can be a bit much, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Still, if you're in Wynwood and want a reliable meal with good energy, Skinny Louie's delivers. read more

I'm a big fan of smash burgers and Skinny Louie definitely takes the prize! These made to order burgers are fresh hot and super delicious! I ordered the Louie burger and fries and was left satisfied and excited for my next visit! The staff was very helpful and the place itself had that original diner feet to it. They have outdoor seating, indoor bar top seating, and even Skinny Louie merch for sale! Definitely a high recommendation from me if you're craving a delicious smash burger in Miami! read more

Location: Wynwood, Miami FL Date/Time of Day: Saturday, Lunch Time Ambiance: Skinny Louie's is a quick walk up counter themed to be an old fashion 70s-80s burger joint (no reservation needed). Restaurant includes indoor and outdoor (shaded) seating where guest can sit down and enjoy their meals. Workers did an excellent job keeping each dining table clean and ready for the next customer. Size of dining room allows for customers to enjoy their meals quickly, which improves turnover. Bang for Buck ($): 3 separate types of burgers to purchase (regular, cheese w/ onions, and bacon), each with ability to have 1-3 patties included. Burgers start around $7.50 and increase $3/patty. Burgers are smash style which allow for the crispy edges although smaller in overall volume. Thoughts/Review: 4.2/5 starts in my opinion. I would be interested in returning. I purchased the double patty Louie burger that included cheese and caramelized onions. Soft style brioche buns and smash burgers were delicious and well cooked. Definitely checks all boxes when it comes to the cravings that come with the desired smash burger. Unfortunately, was slightly greasy but that's expected with this style. Only true critique would be the desire for tomato and lettuce to be added, although it's not available on the menu. Fries were crispy and salted excellently. And soda (~$3.50) bottled are the only beverages next to the (free) water station. Overall very happy with service and quality of food. read more

I've been wanting to try Skinny Louie since it became viral. Last night, I was walking nearby and decided to pick some a burger up dinner. The menu is small but it's perfect. I tried the applewood bacon burger and fries with the Louie sauce. Everything was finger licking good. The burger was full of flavors and the fries were cooked to perfection. The fries also paired very well with the sauce. The service was great as my order was ready within minutes. I also loved how the burgers are made openly and it was evident that the establishment was clean. I will definitely return to try a milkshake and have a delicious burger again. read more

Came here after the club and its the best cause it was open amd we needed something to get us a little sober. Lines went pretty fast and food took about 10 minutes the burger was tasty had a little too much salt for my liking but good. The ambiance is very casual. I tried their double hamburger and double cheeseburger. The burgers and fries overall were on the greasy side. But the flavor was outstanding. There wasn't a lace crisp on the edges like a smash burger should have but it was still good. I'm not one to eat cheese on my burgers but I actually liked their cheeseburger compared to their hamburger. I would have liked to get the bacon one, but they ran out. I'll have to get it next time. You walk in to a counter, pick one of three burgers (yes that's it), a side and a drink. The service is quick and ready to help with any questions. He took our order and gave us a number. We got a couple bacon burgers, a regular burger, some fries, a glass bottle coke (the best) And a cookies and cream milkshake. These burgers come out wrapped like an old school burger in paper. A nice warm/soft bun stacked with two paper thing burgers, cheese, bacon and their signature sauce. Each bite had the perfect combination of flavors. Seasoned unbelievably well with ingredients that speak for themselves. The fries were crispy and salted well. Little pouch was perfect to split. The shake was thick and the sweetness played really well off the saltiness of the burger and fries. I've gone to the location as well as ordered for delivery and each time it does not disappoint. The physical location is not as small as it looks. There's outside seating available and the food comes out pretty fast. The staff is patient as we went with a few people and ordered burgers, fries and shakes. We found a perfect table outside and devoured the food. Single-handedly one of the best smash burgers I've had in Miami. A must try! read more
