I suggest asking for light sauce or opting for the Pincho's that had less bbq sauce on them. Ricky is passionate about his business I must say. I totally respect the fact that he keeps it real and sticks to his original business plan. I discovered Pinchoman as a young buck in high school long before the era of glamorized food trucks. Back then I felt like it was our secret food truck spot/hangout area in the middle of the warehouse district in northeast Doral. Once you turn into an assuming block and find the line of people waiting by a white unlabeled truck- you know you've reached the spot. 10 years later & still not everyone knows about Pinchoman. It's still almost a secret but definitely one you want to share. His wife and him run the truck and have added only some items to their menu. He doesn't need an expansive menu; he's Pinchoman & he can make a PinchoDeluxe like no other person on earth. I can't figure out what's in the secret sauce. I could literally drink it because it tastes so good. The crunchy shoestring potatoes on top of the juicy meat, nestled and marinated in this sauce with a long bun being the delivery system from hand to mouth always has me coming back for more. This is definitely my favorite item. The Sammy dog is an alternative version of a hotdog. It's a juicier salchicha that packs a punch and satisfies your late night cravings. The Off The Chain burger is...well you guessed it (Off The Chain) and is resembles a fancy grilled delicious burger. Sauce is boss here & one bite into the PinchoDeluxe will have you convinced that this spot is worth driving through a bunch of warehouses and ordering meat on a stick out of a truck. Been going to Ricky for 15+ years. It's not the same anymore since his wife divorced him. The food sucks now, he doesn't cook anymore. He has a random Cuban guy cooking that burns all the meats. Everything is well done. Chicken has red in it. Ricky now I guess is getting old, and possibly due to the divorce he's a little snappy aka disrespectful, annoying. Finally, my cousin provided accurate directions one glorious Saturday night. At last, I found the fabled food truck and met the man himself. His name? Ricky. Ricky and his wife can usually be found at 7360 NW 56th ST in Doral. If you don't immediately spot the truck as you're driving down 73rd Ave, you will know you're heading in the right direction when you see the crowd hanging out in the warehouse parking lot. If you're confused by the 2 lines of anxious patrons, don't despair; the protocol is simple. You first walk up to the back of the truck and place your order with Ricky. I recommend the Pincho Deluxe or the Off-The-Chain burger, or perhaps the Turkey Meatball Sub. You then head over to the line by the window, where the wife will ask what you ordered and what you'd like to drink, and tell you what you owe. Every sandwich I've had costs $5, and a soda or water bottle is an additional buck. Be sure to have cash on you, as no cards are accepted. She will then proceed to hand over your order, which you will happily consume. As far as late-night snacking goes, this is the Holy Grail. If after trying Pinchoman you ever go back to a drive-thru on your way home from partying, you don't deserve to have tastebuds. After a road trip to the keys, we decided to eat at pinchoman reminiscing the days we used to eat there after many nights of staying out late back in the day. To our surprise, it is now a drive through and they ask you to order while second in line. No prices on the menu. After half an hour waiting, you are handed a plastic bag and given the price. $12 per burger and $22 for fries with chorizo (which is actually hotdogs) drenched in watered down bbq sauce. We paid $80 cash and waited for our change but the girl who handles the money with the same gloves she prepares the food with and with her poor acting, pretended to have forgotten the change. I think $72 was more than enough. The burger was super dry meat with special sauce (more of that watered down bbq sauce) cheese and soggy bread. What a disappointment. To reiterate from my previous review, which was probably written in a night full of drunken debauchery. It was horribly written! YES! Pincho Man IS hands down the BEST food after a crazy night out! My favorite thing about this guy, is the cult-like following he has!
