    Dry stale gluten free bun
    Samantha W.

I have it 3 stars, but in reality it should be only 2.5 stars. I have had there burgers twice, and both times same issues. The gluten free bun is stale. I know gluten free buns are dry, but I can't even grab the burger without the bun crumbling. The taste of the bun is stale also. I get mad because I pay $2.00 extra for a gluten free bun and it's crap. The burger itself is good, and so are the fries. My opinion is if you need gluten free, don't go here, or if you do, don't get the gluten free bun.

My most recent visit wasn't the best. Originally I was going to order from doordash but checked burger Fi's website first and saw that delivery was offered as well. Even better, I had $10 in points available (also a free birthday shake but could only use one promo at a time). I passed my phone to my sons to enter their order but on checking out I saw the delivery fee was over $14. So I decided to just go pick it up. The time on my order confirmation said 7:40pm. My son and I got to the store right around 7:38. The manager told me our order would just be a few more minutes which was totally fine, so I took a few steps back to not block the counter from other customers. We waited...and waited. At around 7:52 I noticed a bag sitting on top and I asked the manager if that was ours. I have no idea how long it was sitting there, but our food wasn't hot when we got home. We also ordered a milkshake, frozen custard, and a "concrete", so the manager asked the woman in that area if they were ready. She handed me the custard in a cup with no lid and a churro sticking out. It looked delicious, but I had to drive this home. She found a French fry dish to put the churro in and a lid to smash down on the custard. I had to ask for a bag to put the custard, churro, and "concrete" in. Really had me wondering how they'd handle this with a door dash order. Once at home I wasn't impressed with anything other than the custard- that was pretty good. My son got onion rings that weren't very good. My burger tasted very salty for some reason. Might have been the bacon or maybe the pickles? But I didn't really enjoy it at all. Everything was luke warm after a 5 minute trip home. Our last visit previous to this wasn't as bad, although it was a weekday and not as busy so maybe that's the difference. Hoping to update next time with a better review

Food was really great as always, but the service this time was fantastic. They took a minute to get shakes out to us and ended up giving us free custard to apologize. The new owner was involved and seemed to really be making this place great again!

The Avon location has been closed, now reopened and under new management from what?.. not sure what happened there. My family and I always liked BurgerFi previously, never had an issue with any of the food, even when this location was having some difficulties. The staff are friendly, inside looks the same, clean no problems there. The food wasn't good like it used to be, the fries are different, okay, but definitely not great like they once were. The burgers were very disappointing, extremely dry, and had an odd taste to them or it was the bun, couldn't finish it. I hope things change, but I find the Avon Five Guys to be considerably better for a quick burger night.

I really cannot get enough of this spot. If I were to have a fave burger spot, this is it. The conflicted burger is SO GOOD. The fries... oh my. I can eat them all day long. Burgerfi, never close down. I'm begging you.

I have no clue where to begin..... we walk in place is dead empty at 6:30 aside from the Mgr talking to an older couple about how their order was wrong. He was nice and refunded them, yet he looked like he was swimming in the fryer then rolled in breading and took a slide on the floor. He then told the girl behind the counter how bad she's doing her job. We waited an additional 5min and we still were not even greeted let alone take our order as we stood waiting.... So we walked out.... Here's a pic of how clean the counter is next to the taps... I felt I needed a shower after leaving. Space available for rent soon! Follow up: the "follow up" link provided by one person then signed by another is about as useful as the in-house customer service.... It's not clickable, when you enter the link it's a generic site for them. Butgerfi your going for bad to worse in terms of servicing your guests.

Yeah - so we went back. The girl taking my order couldn't hear me I guess. I asked for a single burger with no cheese but I got a double burger with cheese. My husband asked for the cry and fry - she didn't put it in the order, so he had to wait in line and order separately. They got his beer order wrong too. They did correct it, but really - It's not that complicated. Still freezing in the restaurant. No one cleaning off the tables when people leave. The food was tasty, even though: - my husband had to go to get our beers from the front - we had to ask for ketchup (they didn't bring it with our food, not on the tables) - we had to order the cry and fry separately so that came after we had eaten our burgers There's lots of competition in the Farmington Valley for good burgers. It'll be quite a while before I'll be back.

Emily what's a sweet young lady! I have NEVER seen anyone this happy to help someone, and be so polite. WOW!

    Dog friendly outdoor patio!!

If you're searching for a burger joint that ticks all the boxes for a memorable dining experience, look no further! The owner and staff are kind and very friendly. From the moment we walked in, they greeted us with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm. Once they found out we were sitting outside with our dog, the owner brought our dog a treat!! Yes, their outdoor sitting area is dog friendly!!!!

Small, thin burger and $1 topping of grilled mushrooms were barely a teaspoonful ... friendly help but not likely to go back.

How could you not like this place?! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and an awesome menu. We tried the reuben dog, taco dog and guilty pleasure dog with the Cajun fries. Dogs are messy but fun.... loved the taco dog! Cajun fries were too salty but appreciate that they are made in house! (Wish they had sweet potato fries with a fun dipping sauce though!) I went back recently, after having not been for a while, and it was as good as ever. They have a delicious quinoa and veggie based patty, and I have a signature way I usually like to order it: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Swiss, brown mustard, & their own hot relish. All of the ingredients are super fresh, and they execute everything they do extremely well, crucial with burgers, hot dogs and fries. The fries are hand cut, and I always go with the Cajun fries, accompanied by their addictive chipotle aioli. It actually has a kick, but also a strong depth of flavor. The Cajun seasoning on the fries is always just right. I have never had a bad experience there. Everyone is always super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They don't rush to make sure they have your burger/topping combination exactly right when you customize your own. It's actually a very nice space inside, too. I like eating there even though I have probably gotten mine to go slightly more often. Lately I prefer eating my burger & fries fresh there. Anytime someone asks for an in town food recommendation, my family & I say Riley's. It's a must try for foodies period, but especially if you're a burger lover. And again, they have a top tier veggie burger. It's a very special place.

I got the disco fries as an appetizer and they were a delicious combo of gravy cheese and seasoning. You could also tell by the bite and the shape that they were made fresh which is also a big plus. I got the hungry bull burger and they were accommodating with substituting the horseradish crema for the house sauce. You would think double meat might be a bit much but it works well and the onion straws really make it shine. Finally I got the strawberry milkshake which was probably better than any shake shack milkshake I've had! The restaurant itself is also very eco-conscious by participating in newport biodiesel, so its great to know that not only are you getting a good meal but the restaurant you are supporting is also helping the people of the connecticut.

This place was well reviewed, so we decided to make this the spot this time around. Ordering was done up front, but there were tables to sit at. Missus ordered while I took photos, and the food came out relatively quickly. Took pics and dug in. Sweet potato fries were the highlight. Hand cut, fried and seasoned. With ranch, they were really good. The burger and hot god were good in terms of quality and quantity. The condiments were a little overpowering though, ended up taking over a lot of the dish and really muddled the meat. The meat itself was lightly seasoned, relying on the condiments to bring the flavor. Not bad, but all elements should bring their own identity and add to a meal. The burger felt absent, and although flavorful was lacking that extra bit of salt or fat to make it truly shine. It's not bad at all, just lacking. Everything else was good, the price easily reasonable for the quality. It was just missing those finishing touches to be truly great

They made us feel welcome and were very helpful to us newbies. Our orders were taken and we were explained the process. Most of the condiments are self-serve. Both times I had the chili, yellow mustard and onions. My wife had Cole Slaw on her first one and Sauerkraut and mustard the second week. We made quite the mess but enjoyed the food. The hot dogs are very tasty and cooked just the way I we like them, a little char but not burnt. We had to cut the dogs into quarters and the rolls held up fine. The chili, while it tastes good is a little bland and my wife would have liked a little more flavor in the Sauerkraut too. The order of fries is large, hot and crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The store is a nostalgic walk into the past with retro fixtures, tables and decorations. It's fun to read the 45's that line the walls while enjoying these dogs. The dogs are a novelty and are good enough to come back for.
