Their mobile app sucks, I've had problems with it before and on-site customer service hasn't really been helpful, so now we plan on not going unless we get coupons in the mailer, or we hear about a special menu item that catches our fancy. The wait is also inaccurate, so we typically order ahead for takeout. The vegetarian and chicken options make it an easy sell for our friends who go without red meat and want a junk food fix before/after a movie. The Breakfast All day burger is a solid pick from their core menu, less heavy than the similarly tasty CEO burger. For limited edition menu items, we missed the Chicago Kobe dog, but enjoyed the sweetness of the cornbread "arepa" bun in the Street Stack. I'm glad they bothered to toast their hot dog buns, since the NY style dog was otherwise as plain as expected. Located right across the street from Whole Foods and next to a hotel. It's inside downtown silver spring. Tons of free parking after 6pm and all day free parking on Sundays. Never been here before so I wanted to check out the food here. Upon arriving to the front door, I noticed they have plenty of outdoor tables seating. Pretty nice especially if you want to eat outside instead of inside. The interior of the restaurant is pretty big. They have self service fountain drinks on a touch screen which is nice. They sell tons of different types of burgers here and sides. I ordered their regular burger which comes with lettuce and tomatoes and their special sauce. The burger was nice and juicy and the bread was nice and soft. Perfect combination. Didn't get a chance to try their sides, but I heard they are all good. If you download their app, you are able to order online and pick up at the restaurant without waiting. The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. Very clean dining area and the decor was nice too. Will definitely return in the future to try other burgers and their sides. read more

I cannot believe it took me this long to try this place out. Their cheeseburger is reminiscent of In-n-Out back in LA, and I love it. I also tried their CEO burger two days later, which was tasty, but it came looking like a mess, with the cheese half on the wrapper, and not on the burger, and the other half melted to the bottom of the burger. POTENTIAL FOOD POISONING I have been eating at BurgerFi since they opened. At one point my best friend years ago got moldy cake pieces with their ice cream, to which they defended the cake claiming they had just received it. I stopped eating there for about a year but then started to to order pretty often again. Yesterday I ordered a quinoa burger, with cheese, fries, with a soda as I've done numerous times before. I finished the burger, ate about a third of the fries, and then had severe stomach cramps, upset, and nausea that I'm still dealing with at 10:30 am, when I got the food yesterday at 3:30 pm. I went to the Alpharetta, GA BurgerFi yesterday and ordered two burgers. This place used to serve good burgers before. But yesterday I was utterly disappointed. The food did not taste good. Both the burgers had funky smell. The service wasn't that great. I noticed that one of the employees was cleaning the tables with a certain cleaner, and then used the same cleaner on the drink fountain (including the spout). First time having burgerfi. Honestly it was pretty comparable to shake shack, not bad but not amazing. The beef patties are pretty thin and mine was actually a little burnt. My fries were a little burnt too honestly. I like that they have options to spice up the fries (parmesan and Cajun, etc.) but doesn't really make a difference if they're burnt lol. I thought the crispy lettuce instead of bun was nice but overall the burger wasn't good. The burger itself was super chewy. Not sure if it was the meat itself or just overcooked. I've been meaning to try this place after learning that they have beyond meat patty which is supposed to taste like meat. It even has the red meaty texture. This place has potential but it needs to make some changes. -The food itself you could tell had fresh ingredients, but my onion rings were slimy, soggy filled with cold grease, and not crispy at all. Similarly the fries had good hand cut potatoes but the oil tasted stale. You just need to do better if you're charging $8 for 3 rings and some fries. -The staff is certainly friendly, but here too there are issues. Besides from my table and the floors being dirty, when I went to fill my drink an employee went on break, threw away my ketchup, mustard, napkins, and took my table (he apologized afterwards). I couldn't even drink my soda because it didn't taste remotely like Diet Coke at all. -Perhaps most alarmingly, the staff let a seemingly mentally ill homeless person take over half the restaurant. All the guests sat on one half, and he sat on the other. I understand if they were trying to give him a meal or direct him to get some help, but that wasn't really what was going on. He then came up to my table and just hovered over me asking me for my food as I ate. I'm always happy to help those who are in need, but it just doesn't seem like a good setup having a mentally ill person take over half the restaurant and then hound guests as they eat. I'm not sure how this even happens or how this is served.Being handed something this screwed up made me not trust eating the burger. The burger was tough. Can we stop using "Wagyu" to burgers? While the patio is shaded and larger, the Silver Spring location isn't as good as the Pike & Rose. My hubby's Bacon Burger was missing some key toppings - lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, etc. When he went back and requested them, a staff member kindly gave the toppings on the side. I'm upset because I don't write a lot of bad reviews..but sadly BurgerFi disappointed me this evening and I needed to write about it. Ordered delivery (go #supportlocalbusiness) but realized it was a poor decision. I ordered the single BurgerFi burger on Green Style (lettuce bun option for +$0.50), bacon jam fries, and 5 piece chicken nuggets. Starting with the burger, as you can see, the patty was dry and thin. Lettuce was so think you wouldn't know that it was a burger, just lettuce. I ended up picking parts of the lettuce away because it was too much. Granted it may have been my fault for ordering the green style but I don't know what I was expecting, Shake Shack does a great green burger. Anyways, the patty was dry and it could've used way more sauce and seasoning for my liking. There was no moisture at all. There was no tomato in the burger even though I'm pretty sure there should've been one according to the burger description and it could've used it. But each bite was just dry bland patty, lettuce, and cheese. Not what you're wanting in a burger. Next, the bacon jam fries were a little bit different, not what I was expecting. They are sweet (yes I know they're bacon JAM fries and not chili cheese fries), I'm merely commenting that they were TOO sweet in my opinion, and almost to the point where the sweetness glazed the fries themselves so for a second they kind of tasted like sweet potato fries. Not how I like my fries personally. Lastly, the nuggets were probably the best thing, good sized chicken tenders with good batter/crispy outsides. BUT THEY FORGOT THE SAUCE. I ordered (and it is on my receipt) the ranch, honey mustard, and Fi sauces. None came with my delivery and I was super super upset because I had to eat my chicken nuggets without sauce and I'm sure 99% of those surveyed would agree that the sauce definitely makes the meal. I know what you're thinking - it's because you got delivery! Burgers never taste good when they are takeout. I disagree. I've had Red Robin and Shake Shack that I have both enjoyed thoroughly. I liked their Cry-fry for people like me who can't decide to get fries or onion rings. We came here to grab some quick pick-me-up while we waited to check in at the hotel. My boyfriend ordered the BurgerFi and beyond burgers while I had the vegan beyond burger. We also had fries with all sauces that were available. So I decided to stop by another franchise after work and ordered the Beyond Burger option with fries. I thought it was pretty good, but BurgerFi didn't try hard enough to really sell the meal for the $14 I spent IMO. They didn't put BurgerFi sauce on the burger (which is vegetarian and on the veggie patty option) and they put a Kraft single on top, when they could have easily chose cheddar (or any of the other upscale options they put on the beef burgers for a cheaper price). I'm not big on veggie burgers. I've had a few and they were ok. When my friend said I should try it, I knew it would be better than ok. I trust her judgement. This is one of my new favorite burger spots. As good as their burgers are (and they're really, really good), I would have no problem just eating their veggie burger every time I visit. I didn't miss the meat at all. I don't know if it was the crispy quinoa, the sauce, the white cheddar cheese, or the peanut oil they cooked it in, but it exceeded all my expectations for a veggie burger. read more
