Onion rings - not as wet & soggy as the night before
    Devon N.

Thought I ordered Uber Eats 9:45pm delivery from Olney location - showed as 10 minute delivery time on Uber Eats. I want delivery food to not be cold, so I opt for nearby, if possible. Somehow order was redirected to Bethesda location. Arrived 11pm. Milkshake melted. Onion rings sitting in a pool of oil in the bottom of delivery bag. Bag soaked with oil. Could hardly believe it how much standing, pooled oil there was! Onions rings were cold, horribly greasy, & soggy. Burgers were cold too but not inedible except for the wanna-be American cheese that I burped up long into the night. Ugh. I will need to be more careful when placing UE app orders, & skip the cheeseburgers & onion rings from this place.

The coldest fries I've ever had..

The coldest fries ever... and I mean literally a couple of them were still frozen. I won't be going back. I don't even care to have my money back, I just want the public to know to skip over this place. The workers here don't give AF... and this place literally stinks. Old mop water is an understatement.

Watch out for extra charges making your meal more expensive then it needs to be!

Hamburgers are ok. Cheesesteak is good. Fries are really greasy. BUT watch your receipt! They layer in an extra "service and packaging" charge which comes to 6% of your order. When I asked about it, the cashier said it was for bags which we all know are regulated price by the county. So when I kept asking for that to be refunded back to me they said they could not because it's an automated charge. Then I got really upset as I just felt like I was being taken advantage of and everybody sale would have this in there. Well that's when they called a manager and they explained the situation. I didn't even have to talk to the manager who instructed the staff to pay me back in cash the service charge. They think they can just get away with it and it looks like they do. Its pretty annoying and really bad business to rob your customers and take advantage like that. This is not even about the food which is alright and more akin to late night after drinks type of food. This is more about how they have institutionalized theft from customers. Do you want to go to a place like that?

I ordered the Fonz Italian Sausage layered with pastrami (seemed like lunch meat) and melted cheese on top. I think it was provolone. Served on a toasted bun. Filling and satisfying, good flavor. The hot fries was a regular order of fries served with an imbalanced sprinkle sort of dumped on the top layer of fries and not distributed all the way through, which had an extra cost of $2 for the sprinkle of spices, which was an annoying difference in price in my opinion. Solid options for beer and a few ciders. Full bar as well. TVs on the walls only showing sports. You get a table number, order at the counter, pay, and they bring it out to the table number. Casual spot. My immediate thoughts...this place is overpriced. My sausage dog, fries and cider came to $26, plus tax, so about $31 bucks. I repeat, $31 bucks. I honestly felt as though the place was price gauaging. A few other people at my table mentioned the prices and thought they were overpriced. Not much service received, just them bringing the order out. Food was yummy, but I'm not convinced about the value. I have had sausage dogs, hot dogs, fries and beer around the world and I feel this place was overpriced. I like the atmosphere because its a perfect place for casual dining and decent for groups.

Pop up poutine specializes in Montreal style cuisine (has similarities French food). Their trademark dish is poutine, which are fries covered with different toppings. The traditional choice is cheese curds and gravy, but they also have various vegetable and meat toppings. Their smoked meat (tastes similar to corned beef) is also very good (tender and full of flavor). They also have steamies (hot dogs), chicken tenders and Montreal style bagels and pastries. This outing I ordered the Jacques platter (French fries with slices of smoked meat), a tourtiere (beef pie) and sausage roll. All very very tasty. The meat pastries were buttery and flaky with generous amounts of meat. The Jacques platter had piping hot crisp fries and thick slices of that smoked brisket meat.
