We purchased our Prescott Valley home from the orginal owner 23 years ago who had a wood buring fireplace installed when the home was buit in 1991. We needed a gas line dropped down to our fireplace for an upcoming gas fireplace insert installation. Out of three other plumbing companies, Jesse from Burgie's was the only one that actually took the BTU rating from each of my gas appliances and calculated the total gas demand to determine whether or not my home had sufficient supply to accomidate another gas appliance. Jesse performed the installation, pressure tested the complete gas circuit which passed inspection the first time. We had to move a water heater and install a water softener in our home. This was a challenge, as the water heater had to be moved into a crawl space and a loop had to be plumbed in our home to support the water softener. Travis and Jessie came out to do this project which took all day to complete. These two were well versed on local plumbing codes, very familiar with the products installed and liked to follow "old school" procedures. I found them to be amongst the very few plumbers who still know how to sweat solder copper piping and finish the joints properly. They weren't the cheapest plumber in town, but the quality, craftsmanship and honesty was unsurpassed! We were lucky enough to have Burgie's do the project for us. Hi, I love in Villages of Lynx creek during summer. I had them out last year for a gas water heater and a new toilet! Both installs better then originals! Water heater Gas now to code! Yesterday 6-11-2020 had Jasen take care of a leaking time bomb. Having a bad heart I found the first leak and just too weak to repair. Jasen took the job over replaced corroded piping and his Talents did a better then ever repair! In my younger years was a Handyman did it all. I will recommend him highly and money,Talent and value for the money well spent, gave him a nice tip! I will recommend Burgies Plumbing to my neighbors! Had a leaking toilet that I could not fix so I called Burgie's, since I had used them couple of years ago and was very pleased with the results. My water heater pilot light would not stay lit; so no hot water. I had family from out of state coming in for a few days to visit so we needed hot water badly. I called on Monday late in the day. Logan came out within an hour and diagnosed the issue as the gas valve in the heater. He said it should be under warranty as the heater is only a year old and the valve is a weak link. I called on Tuesday morning to be sure the valve was ordered for next day delivery..it was. The part arrived via FedEx by 11:00 am on Wednesday. I called Burgie's to let them know. Logan arrived within an hour and had the heater up and making hot water in less than half an hour. Had Burgie's come to redo a shower valve in a bathroom remodel. They were great! Fast response, and very accommodating. I paid them and we were good. Once the tile folks showed up they said the valve was not set back enough and they had to move it to accommodate the tile and backer board. We recently needed to replace our 28 year old water heater (yes, it still worked fine) as a condition of selling our house. I did some calling and checking review ratings, and got several bids, including from the orange big-box store. Burgie's owner, Travis, returned my call within a few hours, clearly explained exactly what he proposed to do, and gave me my best price bid yet. I immediately accepted the bid and set up an install date. Installer, Eric, arrived right on time, evaluated the scope of the job, hooked up a drain hose, and left to go to his supply store while the tank drained. Long story short, Eric returned shortly with the correct fitting new Rheem unit (the heater is located in a closet), and meticulously did the best installation I've ever seen. He elected to replace the supply valve and to change and update the gas supply system, the relief drain system, and the exhaust system. He also installed an expansion tank, which is now required. All of this at no add-on cost!! I'm not a relative or friend of these tradesmen, nor did I receive any freebies for this well deserved review...I'm just a very happy customer! Several years ago our water heater went out on a Sunday morning so I called around and and got a guy on the phone who was on call at home. I explained my situation and he was at my house in less than 2 hours with a new unit in tow. That turned out to be the best experience we've ever had with any service provider since we moved to the area 12 years ago. I was very happy to see Travis's name in one of the reviews for Burgie's, so I gave them a call when I needed our disposal replaced. I called and they scheduled my service and told me I could either buy a new unit or they would have one on their truck when they came, so I went and bought an upgraded unit similar to the one that had lasted 12 years. The tech. Logan, arrived promptly at the scheduled time, was extremely polite and got right to work after surveying the job. He removed the old unit and had the new one installed in less than an hour to everyone's satisfaction. I could not have asked for a more professional experience, Logan was awesome.
