Our AC stopped working about a week ago. My husband called ACE, as they were the first business…read morethat popped up in a Google search and it has been between 90°-100°. The tech came a few days later, did a (clearly not thorough) inspection of the unit. He ended up telling us that our compressor was bad, the unit (that we bought brand new and had professionally installed 4 years ago) was "too old and obsolete," and that it was going to cost us an estimated $6,700 to change out our outside coil unit and compressor. Since we don't have a spare $6,700, we contacted another business (Environment Concepts, Inc. Heating and Air Conditioning) for a second opinion. Billy came out the next day and completely fixed the problem (NOT the compressor, not anything the guy from ACE lied to us about) for $300. ACE wanted to rip us off for literally THOUSANDS of dollars that we don't have. They offered no other options or solutions, and had we not found the company that actually helped us, we would be completely without AC for who knows how long in the AZ summer heat. When my husband received a message from ACE to OFFER FINANCING on a completely unnecessary service, he told them what happened and how unacceptable their business practices are. The only response was to tell him that they could still offer services in the future. Absolutely unbelievable! Bottom line, if I could give ACE zero stars, I would. They are unethical and clearly out to steal whatever they can from unsuspecting victims. For as many elderly people on fixed incomes and young families just starting out as there are around here, it is disgusting to know that this company would rather let people overheat than to be honest and fo the correct work for a workable amount. I will NEVER recommend ACE, and will be telling everyone I know how badly they tried to rip us off. They should be ashamed of themselves, and I only hope that people see this and know not to trust these liars.

We needed a gas line dropped down to our fireplace for an upcoming gas fireplace insert installation. Out of three other plumbing companies, Jesse from Burgie's was the only one that actually took the BTU rating from each of my gas appliances and calculated the total gas demand to determine whether or not my home had sufficient supply to accomidate another gas appliance. Jesse performed the installation, pressure tested the complete gas circuit which passed inspection the first time. When the fireplace insert was being installed, Jesse was onsite if any gas line adjustmets were needed. Absolutly outstanding customer service. Burgie's Plumbing are true professionals. We had to move a water heater and install a water softener in our home. Travis and Jessie came out to do this project which took all day to complete. These two were well versed on local plumbing codes, very familiar with the products installed and liked to follow "old school" procedures. I found them to be amongst the very few plumbers who still know how to sweat solder copper piping and finish the joints properly. They weren't the cheapest plumber in town, but the quality, craftsmanship and honesty was unsurpassed! We were lucky enough to have Burgie's do the project for us.
