I remember visiting North Carolina and going to Gabe's. I love that it's a discounted bargain store. We pulled up and there's plenty of parking. This store is - odd.. they do carry a wide variety of lightweight home furnishings and decor, seasonal items, beauty, clothing, shoes, housewares, toys, gourmet food items, accessories, and baby stuff.. but it's so disorganized.. it's nearly impossible to look for anything.. it's like if Dollar General and TJ Maxx had a baby- it could be Gabe's.. They occasionally have a few items of interest, yet the displays are awful) yet better than than in comparison to the day they first opened)........but it's always a bit of a eyesore.. it always seems as if the manager needs to straighten the place up.. it is chaos!! Or vest are hit or miss/ sometimes low, occasionally off the mark.. I've seen carhart jackets and j crew pants for decent prices and yet I've looked at tankless candles pretty cedar as much as the original retailer and cheap looking sesdinal decor I can buy at dollar tree at an 1/8th the price.. If you want to go bargain hunting, be prepared to look around awhile- and bring hand sanitizer.. and don't be disappointed that toy couldn't find much because of the disorganized clutter!! Don't bother requesting help from an associate- even if you can spot one.. they do their best to ignore customers..

It's still shiny and new! Nonetheless, it's a nice store, typical for H&M, with attractive displays and carefully designed "sale areas," etc. I was pretty excited to see this place finally open. Alas, it seemed like construction took forever, as in months behind the schedule! I don't get what the holdup was, but the final product looks pretty great. Indeed, this is actually a pretty large H&M in comparison to some, which is great because they have so much to offer. I was impressed by how well this place was run upon my initial shopping visit here, but I hope the service and cleanliness don't go by the wayside after it's operational for awhile. At least, that's what I've noticed at other H&M retail locations I've shopped in before. This one had a really nice layout and better than average selection, including on the men's side of the store (my husband was pretty happy about that). That isn't always the case. At any rate, there were no clothes jumbled together or displays in disarray or items that looked trampled on (something I've seen before at the H&M in Novi). The service was pretty good, with friendly (though not particularly "super friendly") salespeople. The clearance section, while this is a new store, seemed rather well thought-out, too. If you want inexpensive, on-trend "throwaway" fashion, I would have to say this is the best place in town. I found multiple cute sweaters for $10 and most items were $20 at the most- honestly.

What a hidden gem!…read more Found this eclectic boutique, located downtown in the Capitol Theatre building, after coming across its website. It's pretty much a treasure trove of cute, on trend clothing, fun accessories, whimsical giftware and some home decor, including tea towels, glassware, blown glass, candles and more. I have now stopped in on a few occasions and picked up some artisanal soaps, jewelry, and candles, plus a jewelry box and glassware. The girl that waited on me last time was super nice and helpful. The attention to customer service was amazing. The carefully curated stock is varied, boho and chic. It's quickly becoming my new favorite go-to boutique in town. Prices are actually pretty decent and affordable for the most part. I thought it's a great place to pick up a gift for the hard to shop for friend or relative. I found a really beautiful but dainty handcrafted necklace here recently that I think would be a great gift for my sister-in-law for Christmas. Don't forget to scope out the clearance/sale area in the back- it's chock full of good bargains.

He then assumes I was looking for a particular size. I already knew my size, but you can't tell that to someone who believes otherwise. He also only decided to help me when he saw my parents walk in, so lack of customer service on his part was huge, as I walked in 30 mins before my parents and he didn't help me then. Regardless of the extra nonsens, why does it take 5 times for someone to say "NO" for you to get that you are not needed at those moments......

Really love the Backstage section of our local Macy's…read more... I know not every Macy's has a Backstage section, so we're particularly happy our local one has it. My husband and I shop in Macy's a lot, and we've been shopping quite a bit lately in this particular corner of the store. It has everything from clothing (men's, women's, babies and kid's), perfume, jewelry and handbags to kid's toys, decor, candy, cosmetics, skincare, men's grooming, luggage, housewares and phone accessories and giftware.. and the prices are great. I like that the same store return policy and credit, Macy's points and star rewards still work (as they do in the regular Macy's.. The selection is great/ and clearance prices are crazy. I picked up some Aldo shoes for next to nothing and my husband and I picked up new Karl Lagerfeld luggage here this past spring that was cute and low priced..they also sell Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs and Karl Lagerfeld handbags on occasion.... I just stopped in and did a lot of early Christmas shopping here. It was quick and simple- good selection. low prices, and terrific service.

They only accepted a new with tags top I recently purchased for 30 dollars and some cute new boots that retailed for about 30 bucks. I was offered 5 dollars total for both. I took it and regret it. I spent more for gas to drive to this place. My stuff was way nicer than the items in the store. What a deflating experience.
