Sam's club prices doesn't even match savings at Kroger. I am thinking of discontinuing my subscription. I am not able to save like before.

I am new to Sam's club and love their prices for bulk items. The store is always kept super clean and the workers look like they actually want to be there. Their $1 pretzels from the cafe are also very very good. The store is laid out very nicely and everything is quite visible. I never saw a piece of trash on the ground in any of the aisles. read more

My family will be utilizing the Sams membership for our very last year and switching to cosco. It's amazing at this flint michigan store how well their staff is paid and how horrible the customer service is at this store. It's progressively gotten worse and worse to the point their staff is simply almost to lazy to even walk away from you. Let alone help you. This store at this point isn't even a go to store if it were free entry. Their is better service up the road at the crowded dollar general with one employee. I had an issue with the fuel station card reader. I tried the call attendant button for the first time ever, in almost 20 years of using Sam's Gas. The young man replied promptly and very quickly came to my aid. We both have masks and gloves and all that gear...because of Covid. We have gotten birthday cakes for our girls for years and years now from Sams club since before the grand Blanc location opened. We've always loved them because they are very reasonably priced, actually cheap compared to a sheet cake at other bakeries, they always had a good selection, did a wonderful job decorating, you needed little lead time to order, they taste great and best of all they offer whipped or buttercream frosting. There are VERY few places that offer that and our family is NOT fans of buttercream because its just too sweet. Sweet to the point it makes your teeth and stomach hurt at the same time. I love frosting. It's actually my fave part and even I can't stomach buttercream. The best part is sams whipped icing is PHENOMENAL and makes the cake something special. So I go to order a cake for my daughters birthday and not just any birthday but her sweet 16! The woman I spoke to in the bakery was INCREDIBLY RUDE! She sounded like she didn't want to take an order and really didn't want to even be there. It seemed everything I asked was just a short terse "no we don't do that." Finally I just ordered a simple sheet but when we got to decoration she said they only do the decorating in buttercream. I said "wait buttercream decorating on whipped icing? Is that even good?" She pretty much said do you want it or not? I don't think my confusion was out of line since the reason most ppl get whipped icing is that they don't like buttercream so I don't understand getting it and then decorating in buttercream!! Then I asked about the writing. Nothing special just asked for dots in between the letters of a word. NO. no explanation just NO. At this point I was frustrated and said just forget it and hung up. I called grand Blanc and they were awesome!! Attitude difference was night and day. She took the time to explain to me that unfortunately corporate made the decision to get rid of all color in anything but buttercream and she was understanding of me not wanting the decoration and writing in buttercream. She was great about giving me the option for chocolate icing and then border and writing in white. I was just thankful for a helpful person with ppl skills!! This isn't the first experience I've had with rude employees and bad customer service at the Corunna rd location. I've tried chalking it up someone having a bad day or being super busy but enough is enough! Sams (at least the Corunna rd location) needs to look at retraining their employees in customer service! I personally think they haven't cared because they don't have any competition but Costco's are opening up all over so they better watch it. My advice is stay away from the Corunna rd location. Even if it's a bit more of a drive, I would advise going to the Grand Bland Location. Its worth it not to have to deal with the rudeness of those at Corunna Rd. read more

The manager on duty Jenna Krease gave the worst customer service on a simple order pick up that my wife made and had already paid for. Now have to head to a competitor to pick up cat litter that my wife already paid for at Sams club but due to need have to go pick some up on the way home after being denied pick up for the cat litter that was already paid for. read more

This is the only Sam's location I've ever went to and this time the door greeter was extremely rude to me and everyone else coming in as well. This isn't the nearest location to me so I sure won't be back anymore. I turned around and walked out as soon as she started to have an attitude with myself and everyone else. I love sams club, but the people working at this specific location are rude and have no manners. First we had to renew our sams club card, no biggy right? The ladies working at the specific checkout we went to were awfully rude. We got ready to pay the renewal and they grab someone's else cart while we were still standing in line and didn't say anything to us while continuing to check someone else out. The second lady shoved her way through us making my friend have to take a step back without saying a simple excuse me which is when I tried to politely say "hey, it's nice to say excuse me" She looked at me and stared until she finally spoke and said "what did you just say?" Which I once again said "you could have said excuse me" She then proceeded to walk to the other side of the check out and started to bicker saying "your friend is so small but that attitude is awful, why she got an attitude" making fun of my size which is something I go through everyday and don't like to be taunted about. She continued to bicker at me while I stayed quiet and said "even though your friend got an attitude I'm gonna take y'all over here, even though she has an attitude" repeating herself once again. I will not be revisiting this sams club and I will make sure my family does not either. read more

What can you really say bad about Sam's club? You go in, walk around and pick up things that you didn't come in to buy....lol. They have decent prices for the bulk of what you get and I like how you can sample some of the items that carry. Also, they the best cakes for birthdays, showers, anniversarys, at a good price. read more

Love me some Sam's club, but disappointed with the online shopping experience I recently had. I bought a pair of 14k hoop earrings online. They arrived with large dents in them. Returned them with no problem to my brick and mortor, but I wrote a poor review of them and the service I received with Sam's chat help and Sam's didn't post my review. Chat help lied to me making two very helpful offers that I NEVER received and Sam's won't look at the problem. What's the point of allowing folks to share their opinions if they don't get posted? Prices are fair. Like that their gas prices are usually the last to go up when other station prices go up. Friendly staff, clean environment. Kind of wish Sunday hours were just a little bit longer. read more

Business shopping and Personal shopping it's amazing taking my time to look at everything even though I have a shopping list, but SAM's in Flint on Corunna Road is Clean, Organized & the majority of Workers are Friendly and helpful. My Fiancee & I buy a lot of taxable items in Bulk, because of the Prices $17.00 for Toilet Paper, $20.00 for Paper Towels these items last us 3 months and better depending on amount of people we entertain in those months with SAM's Red Meats, Cheese's, Fruits these we break down into Family size meals then freezing it. Yes sometimes everybody decides to shop at the same time, but when your back home and you've packaged all your meats in your freezer and stocked your Utility Closet you don't have to go to SAM's for at least (3) months. The customer service here needs a lot of improvement. Although the store has some good values if there is anything you need post sale forget about courteous or immediate assistance. This location was not always like that but the last couple times I needed assistance with something I was not treated as a valued customer. When managers and those staffing customer service lack skills on how to deal with customers and seem to resent being bothered it is time to shop elsewhere. read more
