We visited Dr. Song for a second opinion, and she was immediately at ease. The whole staff had her comfort in mind, as did the incredibly well-curated, thoughtful space, which was clearly designed with patients in mind. Dr. Song made easing her worries a top priority and was sure to address those first. After examination, he offered a much less invasive option. The procedure was fast and painless. My daughter greeted me back in the waiting room swiftly and SMILING! I can't thank him enough. My teenage daughter is now his #1 fan and telling all her friends to see him! In addition to his incredible empathy, understanding, and talent, his office staff easily navigates insurance and scheduling. We can't thank him enough.

From the start speaking with Theresa who is a wonderful person to be super educated about the process, to meeting Dr. Song, I can't say enough about this practice. I'm going to have a root canal there. Not thrilled. Dr. Song was amazing and putting me at ease by talking to me about what is going to happen. So personable. Although he isn't doing it, they have somebody right in their practice who can do it. I don't have to go somewhere else, and I like that! The office is spotless. The staff, super friendly. If you don't have insurance, they have a membership plan that gives you proper dental care annually. Who does that nowadays? They do. They have all sorts of ways to put you completely at ease while in the chair. I think I'm jumping ship from my current dentist and moving to them full-time. Can't wait! I only can think of one downside. (Not a big one ) They don't accept care credit. Which is what I've used at my previous dentist because dental can be expensive even with insurance ! I decided to have all my upper teeth removed and to be fitted, eventually for full upper dentures anchored in place by implants. He managed the entire process, coordinating with the dental surgeon and ensuring that my temporary dentures fit and felt fine (no denture cream!) and then I had repeated visits to fit and check the permanent ones. I had a bad experience with a root canal with a previous dentist, so they make me nervous. I had a root canal with Dr. Lewis, and had the pain pills ready for when the novocaine wore off. Guess what? I have been a patient here for about five years and sadly, I've been going to see flaws with service: the staff seemed to be eager to "sell" services Villa recommendations and even borderline scare tactics. Unfortunately, I recently had an experience with a dental cleaning that caused my lingual retainer to become loose, and then the doctor acted like he could respond, but his effort led to a loose retainer within a couple of weeks. When I went back in to get a permanent crown placed, I pointed out that his previous attempt wasn't sufficient. He then made it seem like it was my problem to deal with the retainer and told me to remove it and get a pop in overnight retainer instead. When I told him I'd already tried that, which led to the permanent retainer, he told me he could refer me to an orthodontist, and, typically they didn't make repairs in the office. In the past, I had the permanent retainer pop off on the end and the previous Dentist at the office fixed it efficiently and the same day I had the problem (about 4 years ago) and it's still intact. I really hate that not only did he set expectations poorly about fixing the mistake caused by his hygienist, but then he walked out of the room , leaving the subject unclear/unresolved and then told me I had to deal with it via orthodontist. In addition to this problem, my husband also has commented that the newer hygienist was rough with him, he felt like he was being handled like an animal. I'm now questioning my swap all those years ago to the local office instead of driving to Waltham for care. the administration team has been responsive in trying to come with resolutions and I hope my review can be updated in the near future.
