Horrible customer service. I was cursed out by an associate because I addressed the vulgar language she was using in front of a child.

The mall is clean, bright, and beautifully maintained, making it a comfortable destination--especially on a hot Florida day. The air-conditioned indoor setting is a welcome escape, and there's a great mix of stores, whether you're shopping for fashion, gifts, or just browsing. Another plus is the ample parking. It's easy to get in and out without the hassle of circling for a spot. You can park in the shade or not! Whether you're planning a shopping trip, grabbing a bite to eat, or simply making a stop at one of the specialty shops, The Gardens Mall is a relaxing and enjoyable place to visit.

The Gardens Mall first opened its doors on October 5, 1988, as The Gardens of the Palm Beaches…read more Developed by The Forbes Company on 400 acres along PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens, the two story, 1.4 million-square-foot shopping destination had Macy's, Sears, and Burdines as its original anchor stores. Over the next few years, it continued to grow into one of South Florida's premier luxury malls, with Bloomingdale's opening in 1990 and Saks Fifth Avenue following in 1991. Burdines closed in 2004 as part of Federated Department Stores' corporate consolidation and was replaced by a two-story Nordstrom in 2006. Sears, one of the mall's original anchors, permanently closed on February 29, 2024. This was my first visit to The Gardens Mall, and everything about it exuded luxury. Parking is plentiful and free. Inside the elegant fountains and water features, lush faux floral arrangements, and sculptures scattered throughout the mall lent themselves to creating an upscale atmosphere. The shopping lineup is equally high end with designer boutiques like Talbot's, Coach, Jimmy Choo, Tiffany, Lilly Pulitzer, Chanel, Gucci, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, and many more. When it's time for a break, the elegant Gardens Café food court offers quick service favorites like Chick-fil-A, Shake Shack, and Charley's Philly Steaks. I especially loved the mural that wraps around the food court called A Story of Florida. It depicts Florida's earliest history of indigenous people and the arrival of the Spanish and ends with a space shuttle taking flight. Full-service restaurants include California Pizza Kitchen, Cooper's Hawk Winery, P.F. Chang's, and Brio Italian Grille which all have sit down dining options. I liked walking around the mall and while I don't generally shop luxury brands I did check out the Hallmark and Yeti store. I would come back for a bite to eat and to take in the beautiful surroundings. Even if designer labels aren't in your budget, it's worth stopping by to window shop and enjoy the tranquil vibe while taking advantage of very appreciated air conditioning, which is so vital this time of year.

I absolutely love Marshalls! You can find almost anything here (unless it's gone viral on TikTok)…read more The have home goods, clothes, shoes, seasonal finds, perfume, you name it! Now that I have a new puppy, I've fallen in love with their pet section. They have a great variety of toys, beds, and accessories that are perfect for spoiling my little one. Service is always friendly and helpful. Employees are approachable, and the store feels well-organized even on busy days. Value is unbeatable. Brand-name items at discounted prices make it easy to shop without feeling guilty, and the pet section is no exception. I've found quality products without breaking the bank.

Basically Marshalls is taking almost $12 from the tax, shipping and handling costs I paid for this online order for one item! This is a WARNING TO ALL MARSHALLS CUSTOMERS SHOPPING ONLINE!!! BUYER BEWARE AS MARSHALLS RETAINS THE TOTAL SHIPPING, HANDLING AND TAX FROM YOUR ONLINE ORDER RETURNED. This a fraudulent and misleading business practice, inequitable and unfair to the customers purchasing items from the Marshalls online store. Now I lost almost $12 from my order, after shopping at Marshalls for over 20 years. This is ridiculous, misleading and false advertising to customers, as my receipt even states that I can return my online purchase to any Marshalls store for a full refund. This is a false statement. I am very disappointed in this return policy by Marshalls; imagine if they do this for hundreds of thousands of customers throughout the country, how much extra money is Marshalls profiting from misleading customers when they have to return their online orders? Disgraceful!

I rushed over arriving around 8:15 PM when they have a 9 PM closing time. Due to it being so close to closing, there was only one set of doors that were working. I was politely greeted when I entered the store. There was a handful of guests in the store, wrapping up their purchases and asking questions. I was pleasantly surprised to see that swimwear was right at the entrance so I did not have to anxiously run around looking for the specific department I needed. I was looking for an athletic wear type of swim set (a top and shorts) and Kohl's offers a variety at different price points. They have a cute variety of Nike sets that are a bit on the pricier side. The store was fairly clean for it to be closing time. As I quickly (and maybe frantically due to time) scoured the clearance racks I had no issue locating correct sizes where they should be. Prices were clearly labeled on all items. Signage was easy to identify and navigate. I did try on a few items in the fitting room after gathering a few options. The fitting room was pretty clean. My check out experience was swift. Kohls is definitely a store I sleep on often but I've seen so many deals via email/social media lately I need to put it into my weekend shopping rotation.

Other Kohl's have similar items on sale and this one was behind. Wouldn't come back.
