I wanted to stop by as I had a 20 percent discount coupon that I'd received via email to use during my birthday month. Although I haven't had much luck at Beall's with ladies clothing, I have had some luck in their accessories department. I looked through their cosmetics. I looked through their purses. There were some big-name designer ones at a huge discount. The Kate Spade purses were lovely although not my style. And I looked through the shoes -- as I've purchased some Tommy Hilfinger sandals in the past that I wore for years. I wasn't that successful. Love those stores, not hating but it isn't what old school Nordstrom Rack aesthetic offered. If we are junking it down, go ahead and decrease the prices too. On brighter notes, one will save 5% off their purchase if they're a Nordstrom cardholder and online purchases can easily be returned both at the Rack and Nordstrom at the mall.

There was a long line for the dressing room. They do not accept returns or exchanges so I need to be sure that everything fits well and is in good condition. I was standing on a long cashier line and asked a manager here for a price. She told me that they'll call somebody when I get up to the register. I'm at the register & she is now looking up the price. We could've saved a lot of time and eliminated a lot of the line had she gotten a price for me rather than prices for women behind me. But I did leave with a bag of nice things that I don't really need for my closet that's stuffed.

We browsed around for a few items on my short shopping list. Some prices were a bit higher, so I waited to purchase the items, but others were right in line with our usual store. We'd wanted some cold cuts for sandwiches but didn't see what we wanted. The gal at the deli counter was so nice and extremely helpful. She was just unpacking some boxes to put items on the shelves -- there was a lot of re stocking going on in the store. And she found exactly what we needed -- as it wasn't displayed when we stopped by. Helpful and pleasant. Wow. Checkout was fairly smooth, too. There were a number of cashiers working at the registers. And customer service really did so -- as they saw we only had a couple items and helped us checkout fast. My husband said he really liked this store, so I guess we will be back when in the area.
