This store was filled with plenty of inventory and great bargain deals. The service was just ok. Several workers were in the aisle putting garments back up the clothing lines but did not speak. The greeter was very nice though. A lot of aisles were hard to go through with baskets due to them being so small. Many aisles were messy and needed to be cleaned up. Ample parking. Overall, a great place to shop for bargains for the entire family. They have everything you need from perfume, and home decor, to clothing and shoes for men and women. Found a few great pieces at great prices. Only real issue is at times their racks if clothing seem to be bare fir rather long periods of time so likely won't keep trying to go back too I often. It hasn't been this issue just lately but fir the whole last year +. read more

Finally! After 2-3 years of dormancy (apart from Spirit Halloween every October), the former Sports Authority store in Lakewood finally has occupancy! Stopped by the Burlington Coat Factory on a Sunday at around noon to purchase a gift for a family member. The interior of the store is pretty clean, and it has a vast array of merchandise, mostly clothing, but some other goods like kitchenware, toys, and beauty products. Some of the aisles are quite narrow that if you're not paying attention, you could easily bump into another customer. I didn't remember seeing any employees on the sales floor outside of the checkout counters, but there was plenty of staff at the checkout counters. There were about 5 other customers in front of me in line, but I waited no more than 5 minutes before checking out. I also redeemed a coupon (that I got in the mail) for a free insulated bag with any purchase. Nice! I can throw that in as a supplement to my purchased gift! The coupon is only good at this Lakewood location, however. Good start so far for Burlington. And a good time to open as well with Winter season around the corner. So I'm a little frustrated with this store. I think inventory is great and very clean however; staff here is just horrible. I asked one of the cashiers to please call someone else since the line was ridiculously long. Only 2 cashiers and not one of them acknowledged me. The people in line including me were annoyed. Good for old ladies and kids. You would think they would have hidden gems, big disappointment

If I could do 1 star I would. I bought these white shoes Monday night and I noticed when I got home they didn't fit my daughter so I took them back. I took the shoes back 3 days later and they told me the shoes were too dirty and they couldn't return them. As much as I tried to explain to the night manager and her staff that that's how I bought it and even one shoe was cleaner then the other it just didn't make sense. One of the cashiers told me that they would never sell dirty shoes like that but they didn't bother to even give me a discount they day I did buy them. I was perfectly okay with store credit and half my money back but not even that. I have to deal with some shoes I don't even know what to do. So Burlington this is the last time you keep my money. Terrible customer service and that attitude might manager with the white/ grey hair, I'm sure you won't last there with that attitude. If you hate your job so much please quite. I've done customer service too and never treated a customer like that. read more

Stopped in here yesterday while having a meeting in the mall. This is a huge well lit store with a nice selection of everything! I was looking for a nice size cross body bag and flounder it for 12 bucks super deal! I got a cute work dress as well. Was in and out in about 20 minutes. Only one register open so there was quite a wait with several of us in line, my only complaint. I'd shop here again if in the area. Way nicer than the one in my home town. read more

I have never been to a Burlington that closes their bathrooms to customers until this one! The unbelievable part is that the associate actually said they do not allow public bathrooms because they do not like to clean them! What a horrible store and customer service! Great deals on what they do have. I was having a good time browsing around and picking out items but LP kept following me around which was really jarring. I have literally never had this happen to me anywhere before. At one point I got taken a little by surprise, LP had asked "How are you" for the third time while shopping and I just smiled because I didn't see where she walked past me that time. And then she sarcastically replied "Good to know" out loud. At this point I was feeling really uncomfortable and just bought the few clothes I had picked out so I could leave. read more

Visited this store on Tuesday, nice items but the way their clothing is displayed is very confusing which got me frustrated so I didn't even bother. However I did find some nice items in the other sections and proceeded to check out. When we got in line we were 4th or 5th in line and the gal directly in front of us told us she's been waiting for 10 min already and the line hasn't moved. Behind us a line was forming, couldn't understand why they only had 1 register open with the amount of people waiting. We waited and waited with no movement in the line from when we got there. Decided our purchases although at a good deal they were not worth our time to wait and so we left. On the way out we asked the security guard if this is business as usual to have only 1 registar open, and she told us well 3 are at lunch so that's why it's so slow. Why send 3 associates to lunch at the same time, and if doing so why not have the associates we witnessed while shopping work the registers instead of them straightening the aisles, we saw at least 3. Was definitely not impressed with this store. They seemed to be lacking in product that you would actually want to buy. The different departments were well organized and you could find what section you were looking for easily. The prices were not that discounted! I was definitely not impressed with the prices at all. What I really did not like was that they had a security guard person standing at the entry/exit area. This security guard was watching you enter and exit the store. When you exited, this guard glared at you and it was a rather uncomfortable feeling. read more

This Burlington has a great variety of items. I enjoyed shopping here, however the checkout process was very disappointing. There were only two cashiers and the line was about 12 deep and thank god I was the third person in line or else I would have left which some people did. The video I will upload is my nice experience with lakewood branch and their attention to all details. ( looks Im not able share video) When after returning process I came back and share the problem with a manager, she really surprised, and when I asked information for complaint she call store manager, and she came in 5 minutes, and listened to all my concerns with patience and share the customer service number ant so on. I also confirmed them for uploading this video after I let them know about my story and after they review the video. The Cerritos branch need to rebuild, there are several reasons i can talk about this store which each one is shame for company! A rude cashier over there after discussing about returning, lost my receipt, I asked to meet a manager and asked for camera check. It take one hour to manager come to see me, after POLISE arrival!! before that the middle manager kept saying the person who could check the camera is not in duty but after police arrived, lost store manager found and they started check the camera! I didn't see that but they said we didn't see any receipt and you were rude with our cashier!! I don't know how the store manager heard our conversation from camera and determined I was RUDE! Anyhow all these challenges was because they ignore do return process because of lost receipt( lost in store) The question is none of them didn't know about company policy that says customers can return without receipt with An ID card? The store was nice and clean. However customer service was not. There was a cashier attending to one customer. I was next in line with no one behind me. There was 2 other cashiers. One of which she looked like she could've been putting away a layaway order and the other just straightening up the area. The cashier with the customer was pretty lengthy assisting her. Neither of the other 2 cashiers stopped what they were doing, acknowledged me for standing there for quite some time or anything. You can have a clean store all you want.
