I have no idea why I'm even reviewing this place. I see my sister quite a bit through the week and she needed to have her ring fixed and we wound up at a jewelry spot almost across from this place and we had some free time and she wanted to go as I guess she knew what it was. I'm here to let you know I had no idea but she talked me in to it. We walk in and it would appear to be a woman's apparel shop grate but upon going in everybody was very nice and greeting. So I was trying to exchange a gift, at the Ontario Mills Mall in Ontario, CA, that my daughter received from someone who is now out of the state. I was told by a cashier, who refused to give me her name, that I would not be able to do so due to not having a receipt. She stated the person would have to come in themselves to make the exchange and unfortunately that's no possible. All clothing had the tags and I just wanted an even store exchange because I would hate for my daughter not to get any use out of the clothes. Furthermore, the young lady at the cashier was not professional at all. She had no idea where to find any information regarding corporate phone number and when I asked for her name to provide in an email to corporate she refused to give me her name stating it was not legal for her to do so. After she told me this, she proceeded to yell out her coworkers name for assistance. Which led me to believe she just did not want to give me her name. This was very disappointing due to the fact I do find your clothes and store very good quality. The customer service really let me down today. read more

I love This store but the customer service here from one specific employee was horrible!!!!! Thin Hispanic girl. They close their gates way earlier than they're supposed too which I'm sure affects $ sales $ Anyways I was going to pay for a cute shirt I found I got up to the register the girl doesn't even greet me grabbed my shirt took the hanger out and threw it like if she was angry. I agree that the help isn't that wonderful but neither is Forever 21 or many of the other pre-teen stores. What I will rave about is that they carry Short Length jeans. I do enjoy browsing their sales racks and have found many an unusual shirt, shrug, or sweater. It seems that while the sales associates are struggling to look busy folding items, the store manager on shift is busy running register tape reports every few minutes so they can call another manager and compare numbers. I've had too much experience trying to flag down someone to attend to the dressing rooms. Dear Charlotte, People would probably impulse shop more often if they could try the clothes on without the frustration level of finding someone to go find someone who has the keys or the job in the fitting room. I never shop here for clothes or shoes due to their quality and being the poor man's Forever 21 but I needed some accessories. I bought a cute bangle bracelet and an antique looking ring. Well the next day after buying the ring the charm fell off of it and so since I still had the reciept I went to exchange it for another ring, same price. Well the 19 year old manager was a biznatch and took 2 minutes to give me approval for an even exchange then warned me that all sales are final on all accessories. The new sales associate who seemed to scared of her young boss to ask for help nervously entered all my information...Name, Address, Phone Number (which I made up) for just a simple exchange. There were 2 other people waiting behind me who were waiting while 3 other staff members frantically folded shirts. Every time I need something scandalous in a pinch. I hit up Charlotte Russe. I did a quick sweep through and couldn't seem to find anything that was Vegas appropriate. On my way out, a really sweet girl stops me and asks what the occasion is that I am shopping for. Needless to say, almost an hour later she had me try on lots of amazing options, She kept pulling more and more clothes ( they kept bringing me sizes too) until we found "THE ONE!". Review from THE WIFE: Went to the mall today and saw a sweater in the window of Charlotte Russe that I absolutely adored, but when I went inside to buy it they didn't have my size. I asked the employees at the counter if there might me one in my size in the back, but they informed me that everything they had was on the floor. My dream of sipping hot coco on the patio in that adorable sweater had been crushed, until Edgar, an employee, told me that the sweater I had seen on the mannequin in the window was my size and that he would get it just for me! My day became 10X better because Edgar was so polite and helpful. So.....THANK YOU EDGAR!!!!!! The store has quite a large selection but I rarely find something that I like. During the Labor Day weekend, they had some sales and I purchased some stuff. After I purchased my merchandise, I noticed that if you text "CR" to 78953, you receive 10% off your purchase when you showed them the text before you complete the transaction. The 10% off code comes instantaneously. I asked the sales associate if I could return my order and repurchase it with 10% off. The sales associate seemed irked and called over the manager. The manager told me the coupon could only be applied on non-sale items which is ridiculous because it doesn't say "exclusions apply" nor is anything in Charlotte Russe not on sale. Anyway I knew the manager was just BSing and didn't want me to return my order; maybe they get some type of bonus for having the most sale during Labor Day or something. Also I know the manager was BSing because I tried using the coupon at another Charlotte Russe and it worked fine. Basically they just wanted to INconvenience me, which makes it difficult for me to come back. Nonetheless, it is a little annoying for me since I have to make a return, but in the end, I saved some money. I already didn't like Lakewood Mall, but here's another reason to go the extra 5 minutes and visit Los Cerritos Mall. read more
