During the return of an item purchased online, the cashier was rude, impatient, and visibly irritated. At the time, there were no other customers present. I addressed his behavior by stating that he was being rude; I did not , insult him, or behave disrespectfully. After I thanked the cashier and stepped away to continue shopping, I observed the same cashier start helping another customer, and both of them began laughing and making derogatory comments about me. I returned to the counter to address this behavior, at which point the other customer began yelling at me, telling me to "behave better," completely unaware of the irony of his own actions. The involvement of other customers in a matter between a Nordstrom employee and me was inappropriate, unnecessary, and deeply unsettling. When I stepped outside the store to contact Nordstrom Customer Service, an individual named Justin approached me and introduced himself as the manager on duty. He immediately stated that the cashier who assisted me was the kindest and most polite employee in the store. He also referenced the existence of video footage. I asked whether he had personally reviewed the video, as his comments appeared to reflect a preconceived bias similar to that displayed by others involved. He acknowledged that he had not viewed the footage. I informed him that I intended to contact Nordstrom Customer Service, as this was not the first time I had felt humiliated at this location. I thanked him and left. While in my car, I contacted Customer Service and was treated professionally and respectfully; the representative demonstrated a high level of understanding regarding my experience. I have been a loyal Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack customer for many years and have shopped at locations across the country. I have never experienced treatment like this elsewhere. Unfortunately, this incident marks the third time I have felt disrespected and humiliated at this specific store. On a prior occasion, I spoke with the store manager, Mr. Matthew, whose response I found to be dismissive and arrogant. I clearly stated at that time that I would no longer shop at this location, but unfortunately, I did not respect my decision and my boundaries. Given the seriousness of this incident, I am escalating this complaint to higher levels. The conduct of both the employee and the customers who felt empowered to intervene without any factual understanding of the situation was inappropriate and raises concerns of a potential hint of discriminatory behavior. I was informed that video footage with audio exists, which I welcome being reviewed. I will not shop at a store where I am made to feel unwelcome, disrespected, or singled out. Their instagram also has great ideas on how to style clothing pieces differently. Every time I come in the girls there have been very kind, Madison especially. Madison has been there the last couple of times I've stopped in and she's always so happy. She's helped me with fitting questions, always offers tips on how to style certain pieces and is even honest with suggesting another color that might look better (which I VERY much appreciate). I tried them on and got them with a credit that I had. We then went to my sister's house, there were a group of us there for my birhday, and everyone was so excited about my find. I tried them on again to show everyone but when I took them off I was HORRIFIED to find vaginal dishcharge inside of the pants that I had just purchased and now had tried on twice. It was not a small amount and it was not from since I was wearing panties and it was DRY. I was so disgusted and upset, it was a buzz kill on my birthday, it is so gross! I called right away and explained the situation. Whoever I spoke to acted like they were mortified. I explained the situation, that I had alread taken the tags off and that I did not live close by. I was reasured that I could bring the pants in and get my cedit back when I had a chance. I asked if I needed anything, if they needed my name or would put a note on file. I was told not to worry about anything. My mom, best friend, my husband and sister all heard the call because it was on speaker. I know one of us has a picture of the pants and tag which we will find, I do have a screenshot of the call made that day. My sister washed the pants for me because I was not okay with having them around my daughter. Once clean, I kept them in the car until I had a chance to go. Well, the north location that I went to is closed so I waited until I was near the Littleton location, which was today. I don't live by either. I was told that because I don't have the tag and it was in June that the owner said that I could not have my credit, which goes against what I was told on the call infront of a bunch of people. I am mad because it was their responsibility to check that outfit before it went out and someone else's dry bodily fluids touched me, twice! To be told that this would be made right on the phone and not have that honored today is wrong. We all know that they probably paid a few bucks for the overalls at most. They can easily see that I purchased them on June 3rd. They couldn't make a really disgusting situaiton right over a few bucks and that to me shows a complete lack of integrity.
