    Soda fountain

This place is adorable! It's mostly like a typical lil tourist shop with various items you'd buy on vacation (rain jackets, lotions, signs about the lake, shirts/sweatshirts). The candy and fun soda selection was great and the cases with chocolates in the little soda fountain area were delicious looking and tasting! The fudge is good, but, the boba tea was flavored water- not sweet at all... we were disappointed that for the price you just got flavored cool water with a small scoop of boba at the bottom. It's definitely a fun stop with nice employees!

Driven past this place a few times now decided to stop in, SO glad I did! This place is so cute!!! Totally not what I was expecting! Way more the a candy store! There is a train or several I think around the building near the ceiling. Such an amazing variety of gifts! For yourself, your home, family, friends, yourself ( oh did I say that already ?) Nice rest room ;) They have more then candy, Is say baked good/treats, fudge, rice crispy bars, macarons, truffles etc... And this adorable retro sockhop looking soda shop, you can sit and enjoy your treats, a root beer or order food from a local restaurant! I will be bringing my out of town guests here!

I absolutely love fudge and am hard pressed to find something I don't like. Bought four boxes and they all taste like cardboard

We had a much longer wait for pie at Betty's, and were lucky to get a parking place at all. It was mobby, and it wasn't even the weekend! There was about a 10 minute wait to order at the outdoor window, and a 15-20 wait for our slices. Most of the people ahead of us seemed to be getting pie shakes. In addition to the apple pie slice, we bought a toffee cream one. We ate it soon after our visit. It was delicious. The pale crust reminded me of shortbread, the filling light, sweet, and creamy, with what seemed to be Heath bits throughout. It was great and surprisingly not filling at all. As for the apple pie comparison, Betty's version was more cohesive a crust and easier to eat, but it was also surprisingly bland. The thicker crust at the edge was dry, too. The fillings from both bakeries were quite close, both good. From Betty's, we liked the cream pie slice much more than the apple. For classic double-crust apple, Rustic was best between the two.

The highlight is everything at the counter area. There are a variety of chocolates and delish baked treats to choose from. Last time I was there they had a peanut butter s'mores that was excellent. Also caramel filled cupcakes that I didn't get but I was VERY tempted. I have tried the cookies and they are great, several variety of chocolates and other treats to try. I have yet to have anything I wouldn't get again. Beyond that there is a selection of candies of the gummy and Taffy varieties. Along the back wall are maple syrups, caramel sauces (highly recommend!), Preserves I think, some little knickknacks etc. They also maybe have ice cream and serve some food at various times? I have yet to try any of that, but I'd expect good things. In addition to all that, they take requests. My husband ordered a French Silk pie for my birthday (it is my favorite) and despite having not made one before (so I was told) she signed on and whipped one up. It was fantastic! So be sure to check the place out. It's a cute store with awesome treats. As they say, Treat yo self!

Ordered specialty drinks outside after 3 p.m. Inside was closed so only outside menu was available. Two of our drinks were not as pictured on the board outside (a main ingredient was missing). We approached staff who stated only "sorry we are out of that." We planned to sit outside but there are only 4 chairs (party of 4) and one was dirty so we left to eat elsewhere in town. It was closing time for this business. The two drinks that were incorrect were VERY sour. I ate part of mine ($8 ea) but did not finish and we went to another local business and ordered a different drink for my spouse (tossed both of these in the trash) as she stated Her's was also too sour (and she typically likes sour). We decided to contact the business via social to request a refund. The owner did not take responsibility, blamed us and made false accusations. They stated we were refunded but given the name calling they engaged in and unusual nature of the message we received we told them it appears they must have confused us with another customer so I'm unsure if we were actually refunded. I let them know this and I stated they need to apologize and they then blocked us. We would never act inappropriate in any way. To imply so is insulting. The experience ruined our day. We will never again frequent this business.

The category says Candy store, and there is lots of that, but there is a lot of other items as well. They have a nice selection of tshirts and souvenirs for the visiting vacationers and lots of specialty food items. I have repeatedly gotten some jars of excellent salsa, and there are all sorts of condiments and other savory items. But we do need to talk about the candy. There is a huge selection of candy that is prepackaged and it is quality product. But the good thing here is the fudge and other homemade chocolate candies. I tried the salted caramel fudge- which was incredibly rich and smooth and just a little salty. mmmmm. And they also make a chocolate square that was Salted caramel covered in dark chocolate. Oh my. There are nonchocolate treats as well, and many of them are available by the pound (1/4 pound minimum for the fudge). It is a fun place to stop and there is lots of good things to choose from. Do stop!!

It pretty much is a unique little tourist shop that is definitely worth stopping into. Their fudge is excellent, along with the taffys they sell. If you are looking for a gift for someone, you more than likely, will find it here. You can get anything that would be perfect for a family member, Really anyone! I'm not sure what else to say. I am a fan!
