Some of my favorite items: the salt water taffy (don't come at me -- salt water taffy is delightful!), chocolate covered Oreos, candy bark, Jelly Belly's and so many types of fudge. You still have to use cash only -- no credit cards. Thankfully my husband on our most recent visit had some cash on hand. I'm also excited that my kids are getting old enough to get excited about visiting and picking out some select pieces for themselves. They also liked to watch the candy being made in front of them. Tremblay's is also great for food gifts to bring home. Hayward isn't Hayward without Tremblay's!

There is a huge selection of candy that is prepackaged and it is quality product. But the good thing here is the fudge and other homemade chocolate candies. I tried the salted caramel fudge- which was incredibly rich and smooth and just a little salty. mmmmm. And they also make a chocolate square that was Salted caramel covered in dark chocolate. Oh my. There are nonchocolate treats as well, and many of them are available by the pound (1/4 pound minimum for the fudge). It is a fun place to stop and there is lots of good things to choose from.
