If I can give a lower rate I would. Terrible management. I lived there for 8 years and the management was never good but the previous managers were professional. The manager is completely unprofessional. She tells your business and ask about you to neighbors. I paid the full balance owed when I moved which was a prorated amount. I now get a letter months later from a debt collector for over $1000. I made sure I didn't owe anything because something like this ruins your credit. They had my contact information. So I don't see why she couldn't inform me of this balance. Then again she never mentioned it cause I didn't owe it. She probably pocketed my last payments, who knows. I may fight it but I gotta also see if it is even worth it. It may cost me more money to do so. I do have proof but at this point I want nothing to do with this place which is completely sad cause I did live there for so long. It wasn't always this bad. Do t rent here. Yes, their probably the nicest apartment in Taylor but not worth it. They never fixed things and the units are all cracked from bad foundation. I lasted so long cause I couldn't afford to buy or rent a home at the time. I've been saying I'm moving for the last 3 years when I finally did. You really should read this! IT IS A JUDGE WHO WILL DETERMINE IF WE CAN FILE A CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT against Burnett!!! Not any illegal clause that Burnett has in their lease for folks who don't know any better. Burnett would tell you they can take your first-born child if they knew you'd let them sell you that garbage! Accordingly, I am attempting to organize a class-action lawsuit against Burnett Place Apartments for ILLEGALLY towing cars including my car. Let me explain and particularly explain why what they did was ILLEGAL. I once gave this complex a good rating, what a mistake. I have lived here for almost 3 years. I had the required red parking sticker on my car to park here, that sticker had no expiration date on it. On August 29 I received a notice in my apartment door, not on my car, they would tow cars on Sept 1 unless the owners changed the parking stick to a new parking sticker. At 5:09 in the morning on September 3, 2018 Burnett towed my bran new 2017 Toyota Yaris with the red Burnett parking sticker on it. Please understand, 2017 Toyota has been parked here ever since I bought it bran new in February 2017 and everything was current on that car, except the Burnett parking sticker that was 2 days expired. I called and it will cost me over $364.3 to get my car back if I get to the towing company today September 4, one day after it got towed. I placed posters on all of my windows in Apt 1503 to direct everyone who want to participate in a class-action lawsuit against Burnett to an attorney to get a class-action lawsuit going. HERE IS WHY WHAT THEY DID IS ILLEGAL Paragraph 21 of their lease spells out 13 reasons why they can tow your car. None of those reasons allow Burnett to notify you that you have 30 days to change a sticker on your car and then tow your car if you don't cave in to their corporate bullying tactics. Yes, they can regulate the...manner...of parking but again there are only 13 clearly delineated reasons why Burnett can legally tow your car and a window sticker that never had an expiration date on it and that they suddenly decide is expired is not one of those reasons......HELLO!!! I live here. When I first moved in,February 2016, I was convinced I wouldn't be here long, bugs, other tenants that threw trash out on the lawn & in parking lot, the floor in my building 15 really sloped, new rugs in bedrooms but paint all over the remaining flooring, dishwasher smelled like raw sewage, tiny little toilets, driveways all cracked up, and months before I moved in, no one answered or even returned phone calls that I made to inquire on availability. At the same time that I moved in there was a new manager, Candy, so I thought maybe things could change with her but I didn't have my hope up too high - I know the typical apartment experience. After living here for over 1 year now I can tell you Candy has absolutely created a night and day difference in this place! I can't emphasize this enough. Every last item that I listed above has been addressed and to top it off she hired a new maintenance man, James, who actually knows what he's doing. I don't work for the owners, I didn't know Candy or James before they started working here, I really am just a tenant who wouldn't hesitate to tell it like it is. So, I can completely relate to the comments before Candy started managing this place in early 2016 but the truth is this lady has absolutely turned this place around. I'm a single guy living in a 3 bedroom, was planning to purchase a house and get out of here ASAP when I first moved in, can still buy a house whenever I'm ready but at this point I believe the housing market is a bit overheated and I'm comfortable staying right where I am until we see a buyer's market again in the area. Why didn't I give it a 5 star? This place will never be a Rtz Carton no matter who manages it, but for the money, and given that the unit comes with a garage, really tough if not impossible to beat it in Taylor, or even Round Rock and Pflugerville. I moved from Stone Hill Apartments in Pflugerville, $500.00/month drop in rent. Can't beat that with a stick! read more

Lived here for over 8 years and I am really impressed with the new management lady they have in the office now. She is friendly and nice and she has a lot of concern for us(the residents),something we did not have before. She is getting things fixed and she is always here early and staying late making sure that the property is taken care of before she leaves. I wanted to move but now I am going to renew my lease and hang around. read more

I would not make my worst enemy live here. This place doesn't take care of anything. The pool has been open an average of two.... maybe three weeks throughout this entire summer because they don't know how to keep it clean. The exercise facility is a joke, half of the machines don't work. I have heard the laundry facility smells like sewage, ( I can't actually confirm this because I would rather not go in there if I don't have to) but I would believe it without going in because they were "fixing" the sewer system when I was moving in and the entire place smelled like sewage for a while. The manager, Maria, is the most unprofessional idiot I have ever had to deal with... she has tried to charge me late fees on more than one occasion... and she couldn't even manage to get the amount right, there were many issues when I moved in but two major issues I was really concerned with 1. my stove had no rack inside so I couldn't cook anything in the oven and she asked if I really needed it and wanted to know why I couldn't do without it, and 2. they never supplied the garage door opener that was in my lease (lease stated that they would charge me $50 for not returning this upon moving out).... when I asked Maria and the other girl who had been working there at the time about this Maria gave me every excuse in the book as to why I didn't have them yet and that I would get them as soon as possible... multiple attempts later I finally got a straight answer from the girl who is no longer there that they didn't have the money to provide these items for me, she took the oven rack out of the oven in their employee break room and gave that to me for my oven and told me I'd be better off buying a universal remote from Wal-mart if I wanted a remote. At one point, Maria told me not to use the drop box because it was broken and then proceeded to get mad at me for not using the drop box. I reported that one of my neighbors had changed her oil in the parking lot and left it sitting out for more than a few days and that it had of course been spilled all over the grass and parking spaces and her response was "eww, that's gross. I guess I will get someone over there to power wash it" completely oblivious to the fact that oil is a hazardous material and it is now spilled all over one of the pet areas and grounds where people and kids walk around. I have left messages which never get answered, one was for a maintenance request to change my locks. They have obviously non-running vehicles sitting, covered in tarps, and taking up what limited parking spots there are and management doesn't do anything. The gates have been broken since I moved in... they said it was because they were freezing shut so they had to leave them open during the winter..... not sure what their excuse is now during the middle of summer but everyone goes through the wrong way, and since there are such limited parking spaces everyone parks in the emergency zones and in front of their garages oblivious (or just inconsiderate) to the fact that they are blocking emergency vehicles if they needed to get through. So if you really have a desire to live in the most overpriced ghetto apartments in Taylor where nothing will ever be taken care of then you should come here, but if you have any consideration for where you live... run as fast as you can from these apartments I will be moving as soon as my lease is up, sooner if I could, and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! read more
