New location, same great business. Since my original review Burning Daylight has relocated to downtown. The new spot is very trendy & offers even more seating than before. I have to say I love it! They have great food options for quick meals. I got the green chile grilled cheese & it was great. That was the only meal option I saw for Vegetarians/ but it's a great one. Fries were also good. You got to counter and order drinks and food. They called your name to pickup drinks and bring you food. It took a long time, however the drinks in carved pumpkins were a hit. They charged 4+ dollars for the pumpkins. My wife and daughter got pumpkin coffee latte drinks and I got an iced tea. The peach flavoring was very week. My chicken and waffles were excellent. My wife liked her breakfast burrito. My daughter a fruit bowl. Nice ambiance. They also had bagel and cream cheese ans pastries. read more

4.5 stars Came here to try the viral pumpkin drinks (served in a pumpkin). My friend and I came yesterday afternoon, but they were already sold out (best to come before 12:30 they said). It's a cute little shop with easy parking and plenty of outdoor seating. I got the cranberry Italian soda yesterday, which was good but thought it could've used a little bit of a stronger flavor. My friend got the decaf coffee. I came back this morning and got the pumpkin spiced chai (comes with whipped cream) for my pumpkin and it wasn't too busy overall. The pumpkins come in one size, so with the charge for the 20 oz chai (didn't think the mini pumpkin could hold that much) and the upcharge for the pumpkin cup and tax, came out to a little more than $10. At first, wasn't sure if it was worth it, but the chai had good flavor to it (I think having it in a real pumpkin brought out the pumpkin flavor ecven more). A man who I believe was the manager or owner personally came out to check on me and the other girl who was sitting on the patio to see if there was anything we needed and to deter any loiterers. We overheard Burning Daylight's owner sharing about his shop while we were at Caffe Enzo recently and decided to stop there. I'm pretty sure I ordered an iced mocha, but I got an iced latte with some kind of sweetener instead. It was really good but I couldn't taste any chocolate, which I didn't really notice until I was most of the way done. Dh enjoyed his hot chocolate. I didn't try it but it looked good. I'm looking forward to visiting them when they move to their new location. read more

Visited Burning Daylight this morning for the first time and loved everything about it! The location, the decor, the vibe, the service, the food and the coffee were all fantastic! My wife and I had an excellent experience and we will be back soon to try more of their options. This morning I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon and green chili, my wife had the breakfast burrito, also with bacon and both red and green chili, which was super spicy and delicious! I recently visited Albuquerque and came across an amazing coffee shop with a vintage vibe. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and filled with character and charm. The owner Charles is incredibly friendly and welcoming--it really makes a difference and adds to the overall experience. The coffee is brewed to perfection and the breakfast burrito with the green sauce gets 10 stars! A perfect spot for a relaxing break, working space (outlets available for your laptop charging) or catching up with friends. I liked this spot so much I visited nearly everyday during my stay. The flat white was prepared nicely and had a hint of cinnamon which I enjoyed my wife's latte on the other hand tasted watered down maybe too much ice. I'm not sure. Overall the service was prompt. Came in excited to try this new coffee place. Was informed that it would be bit of a wait, which I understand, it's new and went viral on social media for their cute pumpkin mug, so totally understandable. I waited 30 mins before going to ask about my order. When I went up to ask, I was treated me as if I was trying to pull a fast one on them. They informed me they called my name out multiple times and someone must have took my drinks. I told them I had been sitting on the couch and did not hear anyone call my name. The barista looked at me with disdain and upset but reluctantly offered to remake but made sure to tell me again he did call it out, and that someone had taken it. Seemed as if they were gonna do me a favor. I understand this is an uncommon situation and I would've been happy to wait for them to remake it, as I understand it could've been something out of the shop's control. Unfortunately the way I was treated felt disrespectful and honestly I opted to not waste my time and left. Very disappointing to be treated that way. I don't plan on coming back but wish the business luck. read more

Burning Daylight is a super unique place! It's a place for coffee, relaxation..and even antique/cool item browsing/shopping all at the same time! From the outside, it doesn't look like a cafe (the place's appearance from the outside looks so unassuming..but inside..there's a lot of character!). The owner of the shop told me Burning Daylight is just 9 months old (as of Oct) and I really like this place already! They are open 7 days a week..and from the morning til afternoon! The place is also cozy...that you can just come in..grab your coffee/snacks to go...do your work (hello, free and available wifi!), catch up with friends (comfy+ cute cozy seats) and/or do your home decor shopping! Lots of parking outside since there's a huge parking lot in front of the shop as well! Overall, I'm so glad I found this gem through Yelp. I would never have guessed there's such a cool + friendly coffee shop like Burning Daylight inside..but hey...that's what a real gem is like right? I really enjoy that this place is located inside an antique shop. After browsing item after item and transitioning from room to room, you begin to realize 20 minutes has turned into 2 hours. Barista was very pushy when I walked in to order something - I hadn't even made it to the counter to look at the menu. After 10 seconds of looking at the menu I ordered an ice vanilla latte. Coffee was out quick. I began drinking the coffee when I got home and there was no syrup in the drink. I would definitely not come here. It's worth your time to swing into Burning Daylight Coffee and give this little shop your business. The exterior is not attractive, as they are tucked in as a vendor in an indoor flea market whose exterior is not well maintained. However, once you open the door and step inside, this is a cute little place. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and they've decorated their little corner well and have plenty of seating. This is the best dirty chai I've ever had! Semi-buried in the back of an antique/thrift shop, it has a skill that is completely unexpected in a hole in the wall coffee company. What a funky lil spot. I kind of loved it! The coffee bar is in the middle of an indoor flea market, so you can wander through the aisles and go treasure hunting while there. Charles the barista was very friendly & accommodating. In addition to coffee & tea, they had a few pastries and are going to start serving breakfast/lunch options soon.
