I brought my Mercedes GL450 in for suspension work. They kept my vehicle for more than a week and then charged me $5700 plus. Instead of fixing my car properly, they damaged it. During their work, they broke the coolant radiator and all the related hoses, causing coolant leaks that did not exist before I brought the car in. This damage was clearly the result of their negligence, yet they refused to take responsibility or offer a proper resolution. Charging luxury-car prices while delivering careless, incompetent work is unacceptable. Keeping a customer's car for over a week and returning it in worse condition shows a complete lack of professionalism and skill. I was left with extra repair costs, lost time, and serious frustration--all because this shop failed to do a basic job correctly. If you value your vehicle, especially a Mercedes or any high-end car, stay away from this shop. Paying $5700 plus to have your car damaged is something no customer should ever experience.

This has been several years ago now, and I consider myself incredibly lucky. He is the only mechanic I've come across that I trust like my brother. He is professional, incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, ethical and honest, amazingly helpful, and has the utmost integrity. He has always been able to troubleshoot and repair my vehicle issues, explains repairs and pricing, keeps costs to a minimum, and never tries to up-sell me on unnecessary repairs/replacements even when I've suggested something be done in an attempt to be pro-active. He is always going out of his way to help his customers maintain their vehicles as affordably as possible, and without unnecessary expenses. He is consistent and timely about communicating, and (amazingly) has an incredibly clean, organized shop (you should have seen my dad's (o:). Because I trust Dan and his crew so much, I refer GN Northwest to all my connections in need of auto repair work. Amazingly, one of my friends I referred went to see Dan after I referred him, and was thrilled. He used to use Dan's services before GN Northwest moved to it's existing location, and hadn't known where the business moved to. He was grateful to re-establish business with Dan, and is now a happy, loyal customer again. This is a great indicator of an impressive business, that has made such a positive impact on customers for so long. I can't say enough positive things about what a fantastic mechanic, business owner, and person in general he is. I hope he stays in business as long as I'm driving. As much as I'd like to be a racer, I am not. Well maybe in the back of my mind I am. However, I do drive a fast car and I appreciate a business that caters to racers. For all the true racers out there, JOES has got you covered. Whether you drive a stock car, dirt track micro sprint, sprint, quarter midget, kart, road race, drag car, or off road vehicle, JOES has the parts you need. As for me, I was looking for a quality air pressure gauge, as I feel that most (many) people neglect to check the air in their tires for proper inflation. This is especially true for the spare tire, which hardly anyone checks with any regular frequency. I searched online and stumbled upon JOES. After a little research, I opted for the Joes Racing 32307 (0-60) PSI Tire Pressure Gauge. This glow in the dark analog gauge is shrouded in rubber (not latex) for protection against drops and / or knocks. It features a release valve so that if you overfill your tire, simply depress the air release valve and let the air out until the desired pressure is reached. The only drawback of the gauge is that it does not have a check valve to lock the pressure when you take it. Therefore, you have to hold the fitting on the valve stem while you read the pressure. Not a deal breaker, but I would opt for the one with the check valve. The gauge came with an angled air chuck and a ball chuck (most commonly seen at gas stations) and is solidly built. My only other complaint is that the tip of the angled chuck has started to rust a little. All in all, this is a quality product, the ordering process was easy and I am very satisfied. So while I still have your attention, go and check your tires' air pressure. You may be lower than you think.

So when the dealer wanted at least $900 to fix her headlight switch and horn. I was less than thrilled. So we took it to Hermann's. They replaced the needed parts and performed the service fast, and at a price way more in line with what I expected. $298. So my experience with them was very good. My car is already 12 years old so I didn't want to overspend on getting it detailed inside and out. Overall, the two guys that came out did a good job. I did have some feedback after for some other dusty parts that I asked them to clean off when they were done. The car looks great and it's definitely in much better condition than it was a few hours ago. They washed the carpets well in the front, back, and trunk. My trunk carpeting had a huge food spill stain on it that's now gone, thankfully. They also cleaned the rubber floor mats. I did think they could have done a better job on some of the crevices on the trunk and rims of the car. but overall it's not noticeable unless you're inspecting it super closely. I would recommend them to friends if they're looking for affordable mobile detailing. It was convenient that they came to my house and I didn't have to think about much beside providing a hose and water supply as well as electrical outlet. Update - found more streaky spots on the interior windshield a few days later that were oily from some of the cleaner used when I asked them to clean the AC vents more after seeing some dust. It's a little disappointing because I have to clean my car again after I just got it detailed.
