My family has been bringing our cars (two Acura's and one Honda) to Dan for years now. Discover is an accepted form of payment. A few reasons why we like and will continue to patronize GN Northwest: 1. Dan is the man 2. Acura certified 3. Work is guaranteed 4. A referral program is offered 5. Pricing is honest and fair 6. Terms are spoken layman style so I am not made to feel stupid 7. Shop is small which means the team and clients become familiar 8. Connections/referrals to other shops when GN doesn't offer certain services (ex: hitches) Thank you GN and Dan for ensuring that my family is always safe while on the roads.

Awesome service and fair cost. Don't let the humble appearance of the shop scare you off or the fact that it isn't really on Evergreen Way (it's technically on W McGill Ave, but just barely) . Dan and company did great work on my Subaru, which is more than three dealerships could accomplish. I'll definitely be back every time another one of my OEM door lock actuators fail. And they will...

Dan and his friendly crew got my ride running again for half the price Klein Honda nearby would have charged. 100% would recommend!

Dan figured it all out, replaced the starter, did what he thought needed to be done and provided great value.

They do a good job of explaining all aspects of the diagnosed problem, how they plan to repair it, cost, and repair options I did not want to replace the truck and they saved me from having to do that. Pricing is fair. I recommend them.

So I heard about this place from Reddit as well as Facebook and they gave me the best quote over…read morethe phone before bringing my car in ($400) My concerns were needing an oil change and wanting my spacers taken off so that I didn't keep rubbing Everything seemed fine, but then they called me about 12 or 1pm and said that my lug bolts were broken and would need to be replaced and that I need new front brakes so they could also do those. I don't really have a choice about the lug bolts but he said he could just not charge for the labor for those if he's doing the brakes so I agreed We were now looking at about $700 They call me around 3ish maybe 4 and then they tell me they went to put my wheels on and realized the lug pattern didn't match my car and that they then realized that my spacers were actually wheel adjusters and that they had to be on in order to put the wheels on. So unfortunately they don't have smaller ones and they will have to put them back on So, the whole reason I came here was for the spacers. When they were taken off is when I'm assuming those lug bolts were broken, which is whatever. But once they were taken off, I'm wondering how nobody noticed that they weren't just spacers, especially being that this place has been around a long time and they seemed to have experienced mechanics. I also approved new pads, not new rotors, they threw those in there for over $200 plus the $70 for the pads, so maybe this is just their protocol but it would've been nice to have this explained. By the time I came to get my car, my bill was over $1000 but all I really ended up getting was an oil change and brakes. The rest was a waste of time On my way to my step mom's house, I noticed on the freeway, that not only was my car a lot more shaky, I felt scared so I pulled over, and it turns out that they rotated my tires, but my back rims have a bend on them, which is something I explained to them that the Toyota service department wouldn't do because they don't want the bent rim to be in the front and risk blowing while I'm on the freeway. So these people disregarded that. Not a huge deal, but just something I feel like was ignored Then on my way back from my step moms, I noticed that every time I was braking, my whole steering wheel was wobbling back and forth and there was smoke coming from what seemed to be my front tire area. I pulled over and I realized my brakes were smoking like crazy! I know there's a seal put on them before the box, so maybe that's why? Maybe it was melting so the pads were sticking? I got back in after 15 mins of cooling down and then tried to brake again and it was still happening. I needed to get home I was exhausted so I decided to just keep going . I ended up having to slam on my brakes (traffic) and then all of a sudden it was back to normal. However, then I started hearing a clicking noise. This noise has now happened all weekend but not consistently. I checked to make sure there's no nails or rocks in my tires, and there's not, so I called today (Monday) to let them know, and I will be bringing my car in tomorrow morning. Overall, I do not plan to return here, would not recommend this place, and feel like they saw the opportunity to rack up a bill because I'm a girl. Please take your $$ elsewhere.

Back in 2015 I had an oil change performed at A1 Auto Service Center on my 2014 Mazda 6. Several…read moreweeks later my oil pressure light came on while driving and my engine sounds were alarming. I took the car to my dealership and they pointed out that the oil filter had likely failed as the oil had leaked out which caused heavy engine damage. I contacted A1 Auto Service Center and was told that since the oil filter was good when I drove away, that it was my problem to deal with. After a LOT of back and forth over weeks and months WIX, A1 Auto Service Center's oil filter supplier, eventually covered the damage to my car. However the approximate $5,000 in rental car charges that I incurred, due to not having a working vehicle for several months, was never recouped. After doing some research into the industry, it turns out shops like A1 Auto Service Center are required to have insurance to cover situations like this and they didn't have it. In the end A1 Auto Service Center put the responsibility on me to pursue their oil filter supplier while they refused to take any responsibility. A reputable shop would have provided a backup vehicle while they took point and got it sorted out. I understand companies being cautious about accepting liability but this should never come at the expense of the customer. I felt helpless as these two companies consistently pointed the finger at each other all while I'm incurring debt in order to secure transportation just so I don't lose my job and ability to provide for my family. The way the owner/manager conducted himself towards me was disgraceful, disrespectful, and showed a complete lack of care for my situation as his customer. Everyone I spoke to that was involved in this ordeal had similar things to say him and the way he does business. This is, by far, the worst experience in customer service that I have ever received. That is why I have come back 10 years later to drop this review.
