The front office staff are friendly, offer cookies, water, coffee, etc. which should actually be offered AFTER the appointment. :) Our current dentist is Dr. Dodd and he is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I beg to differ with your view of the circumstances. The day after I paid you I received information from Care-Credit. I talked to you about it just as soon as I could. I also explained to you that no one, and I mean no one took the time to inform me or ask me about financial assistance. You did tell me however, that it is against policy to ask or inform because you do not want to offend Patients. That alone is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. To me it proves you care more about the select few who can write you a check for your services. I had no business choosing your office for my needs. I was treated very badly by Burns dentistry. I had three office visits and each time it kept getting worse. I came in with a broken tooth, and I was in pain. All they wanted to know about was signing me up for an elaborate whole mouth treatment plan. They cared nothing about solving the painful problem that I came in to have fixed. They never did fix it, either. I had to go somewhere else. They wanted to schedule drilling out and replacing every filling in my mouth, when there was nothing wrong with them and I only came in to address a painful broken tooth. How greedy! The fancy office is a big clue about how overpriced they are, and the big bill you should expect for every little thing. They even refused to do a cleaning on a later scheduled visit without requiring fifty-one x-rays! The employees were wearing masks and sounded like 'Kenny' from South Park. I couldn't even understand what they were saying; and they refused to remove their masks, although no treatment was being performed. We were outside the treatment area and I was trying to discuss things. When I insisted they remove their masks, they told me to leave. They never did fix my broken tooth. I LOVED IT!!! The office staff was AMAZING and SO VERY FRIENDLY. I was so appreciative of the gentle, kind, professional manner Aylee (assistant) and Patsy (hygienist) extended to me and I got the feeling that's how they were with all the patients. I was so grateful for Patsy's thoroughness and 'not in a rush" sense in her dealing with me. She took the time to ask me if I needed any explanation then patiently listened and answered my questions with sincerity. Then Dr Erickson was polite and funny. I noticed him looking at my xrays with genuine interest. He was very thorough then took time to explain and answer my questions. All the staff members from the front office, the dentist, to the dental assistants and hygienist are very professional, kind, and friendly. The entire office is a wonderful atmosphere. I had a recent tooth emergency. From the help on the phone with my appointment to me walking out the door, I felt important. Anahi was with me the whole time, giving information about my visit. Dr Kubik was amazing. She also gave me information, was kind, respectful. I've never had a good experience at a dentist office. Until today. The care I received was impressive . Let me first explain I have a true fear of going to the dentist. It boarders on a phobia. Today, I forced myself, needed dental work. Dr. Kubik and her assistant Jessica were very caring and undersood my fear. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They preformed multiple repairs. The pain was pratically nonexistent. I am seven hours out of the office and my pain is very very small. Considering what procedures were done, I was expecting so much more. Patients beware, this dentist is scamming senior citizens on a daily basis. I made an appointment at Burns and gave them all my insurance info, AFTER I went for my consultation is when they informed me my insurance was not accepted ! Why not tell me beforehand. That way I could have found a dentist that was accepted. When I told my friends what had happened they told me the SAME THING happened to them. If you go to this dentist find out if they accept your insurance before you do anything or they will slap you with a very large payment. Better yet go to a reputable dentist. read more

I really wanted to like Burns Dentistry. They are a very inviting atmosphere and super friendly staff. However, when my husband needed his wisdom teeth out our experience was less than desirable. I was insistent that an oral surgeon preformed the procedure, so I called to make the appointment. I asked 2 different schedulers if the dentist we were scheduling with was an oral surgeon or general dentist, neither knew so they transferred me again and the 3rd person assured me an oral surgeon would be doing the procedure, so we booked! Day of surgery, I was told it was going to take 2 hours for the extraction of 2 teeth, immediate red flag!! So I again ask, is the person doing the procedure a general dentist or oral surgeon. Person #1 had no idea. Person #2 asked "why"? Well, a general dentist attends 4 years of school vs an oral surgeon who attends 14+ years of school, so who would you want operating on you! This is where we were finally told the truth, he was in fact a general dentist! Tooth #1 came out without issue, however tooth #2 proved to be quite a challenge ... exactly why we wanted the skill set of an oral surgeon. My husband was left in terrible pain, unable to eat for well over a week! Is pain to be expected l, of course! But the level of pain was far greater than he should have been in for 2 fulled erupted teeth. We are so disappointed in the lack of honesty, and will continue our search for a dentist who prioritizes patient care! read more

The Hygienists and Dentists are very detail oriented and make sure to spend plenty of time with the patient explaining and answering questions. I honestly thought I found the perfect dentist. Everything was just too good to be true. The staff was amazing and friendly. I don't care for the fact though of coming back for treatment plan but I see why now. I have sjogrens which I know is ruining my teeth. I was hoping to have a dentist work with me and not give me a heart attack of what needs to be done. They wanted to do 31K of work. Crown all my teeth-even the 4 that are ALREADY crowned. I don't have that kind of money. Than they were saying I really need my teeth worked on that I can get infections-I am aware of that but I also need to live. I got approved for their payment plan thing just to check prices-900 something a month!!! I went and got 2nd opinion elsewhere and they are willing to work with me and do sections. Granted Burns was going to do sections too but their prices are more-new dentist 3800, Burns 6800-same EXACT work. Highly recommend! Dr. Kubik and her team were amazing. I avoid the dentist like the plague because I always walk away very unhappy but this experience was actually quite pleasant. She actually listened to me and wants to take care of the problem, not just "put a bandaid on it". I HATE shots but she had a gentle approach and it didn't hurt. From scheduling my appointment to walking out the door, I felt as though my situation and comfort mattered. Everyone took pride in what they do as well as loving what they do. Top-notch Dentistry. How fortunate that the first place I called neither returned my call or email! I called Burns and Sheri ( sp? ) said they could see me next AM at their office in Sun City West. Impressive. First rate techno here. They even do some Lab work on-site. ( place was packed, too. No mystery why. :-) I was assigned to Dr. Barber and his D.A., Kaylie. I could not be more satisfied with their help and work today! ( How many times has he heard someone wanted a dentist and not a barber?! Too many, is my guesstimate ) ANYWAY...the last GOOD DDS I had had retired. A young Lad, Dr. Barber. PART - 1 I needed some new bottom teeth.. I decided to go with a six (6) tooth crown/bridge, and they (everyone there) did a fantastic job, and I am so pleased with the way my new teeth look, feel, and function for me.. PART - 2 A couple days after my NEW permanent bridge was glued in, I started experiencing pain.. I went back to BURNS, who insisted I needed a root canal on one of the teeth they ground down to a nub to fit the bridge, and that it would cost me $481.. A week before the root canal was suppose to take place I lost my dental insurance coverage, although my coverage had already been used up for the year, and it was complete semantics as far as what the dentist would be paid. the insurance company was going to pay them nothing, and I was going to pay them $481.. Fast forward to today 03/30/2022.. I show up for my appointment, and let them know that I no longer have insurance.., and rather then help me out by finishing the procedure that they themselves are potentially responsible for causing, they instruct me that the procedure will now cost about $820 cash (no insurance), even though I had already used up all my insurance paid portion with them, and paid them close to $3000 in cash for the services I had received to date for the year of 2022.. I told them I had NO income, and that I was receiving state medical that had NO dental coverage, and that I had, and expected to pay $481 (which I borrowed to pay for this procedure), but they were completely unwilling to help me out, even though I was in the office ready for them to finish their procedure, and even though they were going to get my $481, and insurance wasn't going to pay them any additional money anyways.. They essentially said.. Hit the road if you can't pay the extortion fees. I really liked this dentist, but NOW.. I will never go back to them, because I see that they really don't care about people,, They care about the all mighty dollar $$$$.. It's a sad day in my world.. I will now live with the pain that they themselves potentially caused, and with all that is happening in my life, I will just add permanent continued mouth pain into my daily existence.. The Litchfield park office is horrible. Really sad that Dr. Segovia sold Oasis Dental Spa to them. When you go in for a cleaning, it's only the techs, the dentist doesn't take time to see you. You are asked to schedule a follow up visit for that. Definitely don't want to waste my time coming back for a 2nd appointment, especially when it could've been done during the initial visit. Dr. Segovia always took the time to visit with each patient even if they were in for just a cleaning. Guess that's the level of service I'm used to. They nickel & dime over petty stuff such as a "missed" appointment that was never confirmed. If I didn't confirm they appointment, then I shouldn't be accountable for any fees. The reminder text specifically says to press "c" to confirm. Why have that option if you're not gonna pay attention to the response?! Yet they think they're the good guy for waiving that fee! Insane! Don't know how they don't understand the appointment was NEVER confirmed! Such a shame that they're willing to lose out on a previously loyal customer to the business they bought over an issue with a small fee. But dentists are a dime a dozen....and they are definitely not at the standard of what Oasis Dental Spa was! read more

I cannot be thankful enough for Burns Dentistry and Doctor Kubik! She was assisted by Kristen and Jessica who were both just as kind and awesome as Doctor Kubik is! Today I had 5 fillings done as well as a chipped tooth repaired and restored! I had chipped at least a quarter of my tooth off when I was around the age of 10. I used to always smile with my mouth closed because I was insecure about my chipped tooth showing in my smile. Now you can't even tell which tooth that I chipped! I can smile with confidence thanks to these amazing people and the great work that they do! They always make sure I'm comfortable and that I know what is going on while they are working on my teeth. I've always had anxiety about going to the dentist but they always help make sure I'm relaxed and mentally prepared before they even start! Their whole team is amazing from Susan at the front, to Charity who does consultations and explains the costs of services as well as working with you to stay in your budget, to Jessica in billing/scheduling, to Candi who has done cleanings for me, to Kristen and Jessica who assist Doctor Kubik, and of course Doctor Kubik herself!
