First off the atmosphere is great! Very cool spot, loved the decor. We came in at about 6:00 not many people in the parking lot. We came in and it took a while for anyone to greet us. When we were sat we waited at least 20 mins for someone to take our drink order. It also took a while for our food to come out and when it did it was lukewarm at best. I also ordered a lobster bisque which came out 15 mins after my main meal. Everything was not hot and we overall felt forgotten about. We were in a party of about nine people, and our order took about half an hour to be taken. That was fine, but the food was terrible. One of my friends ordered a medium steak, and it came out extremely rare. When she asked our server to remake it, she seemed very bothered and took the plate. When it came out again, it was charred on the outside but still super rare. Everyone who ordered pasta said their noodles were hard, and the salad portions were small and came with almost no dressing. My meal was a salmon salad, and the salmon was overcooked and supposed to be honey-glazed, but it had chicken seasoning on it. To top it all off, our water was probably filled once during our almost three-hour visit. After the disappointing dinner, we asked for a manager. The man who came out wore a hoodie covered in food. It was unprofessional, and all he had to say about our complaints was "interesting." Overall, I would not recommend this place. I would spend my time and money elsewhere read more

We went here for Easter Brunch. we were seated on the patio and it was cold. They had heaters but they weren't all working. We asked to be moved inside as there were empty tables but were told no because of the way they seat the reservations. It was 10:30 am and the inside was not full. The food was good but by the time we finished a plate it was cold due to the temperature of the patio. I was looking forward to the prime rib but it was not warm. Our entire party had to wear our coats. I realize they have no control over weather outside but they could have brought in standup heaters to put by the tables. Our waitress was excellent but you could tell she was frustrated as everyone was complaining about the cold. One family took there small children inside and sat them at the bar. I would not recommend going to a brunch here before June as Ohio Temps are not consistent and you may be like us and have a miserable experience eating on the patio when it's so cold. I did send an email through the website about our experience but never received a reply. We spent 200 dollars on our meal for 4 people tohave a poor dining experience. read more

Well it's Mothers Day and we were just tortured by a restaurant next door that we left without even eating. We even made 7:00 pm reservations while at another restaurant and arrived on time. We were quickly seated and received our beverages quickly and our appetizers came out in about 10 minutes. Now on to our main entrees. It took 45 minutes to receive our meals which were about to leave. Everything that we ordered, the restaurant was out or part of the meal had to be altered. So I settled for Chicken Piccata. What I received was a piece of grilled chicken (not pan fried or breaded) with Alfredo drizzled on top with capers and loose baby spinach. It's was horrible. My wife's Salmon was a dried fish stick. This was just not a good day perhaps the prior Mothers Day brunch exhausted the cooks and just left others to do the remaining cooking. I noticed that other tables received their pizzas pretty quickly. Perhaps that should have been our choice, but if it's not a burger or Pizza avoid this location. Happy Hour is fantastic here. 3pm-6 pm appetizers and house cocktails $8!!! I ordered the shrimp taco appetizer and the house VIP martini. They are delicious. $16 bucks people. The bartender, Olivia, was very attentive and her drinks were on point. It feels very warm and cozy here and the music is soft and welcoming. Don't let the fact that it is in a mall parking lot deter you from stopping in. It feels very small town and local in an area of chain restaurants. Give it a try. Ok, the staff was friendly and the service wasn't bad, but given that the place was near dead on a Monday night, it couldn't be hard to deal with 4 people who knew what they wanted. Wait...one of us had a spare rib grilled cheese (aka a melt) and she said it was good. The blackened shrimp on my cobb salad was good. but the salad itself was lackluster. My wife said her fish tacos lacked any flavor. I will say the decor and atmosphere was nice. They had the doors to the patio open and I enjoyed it. Ah well, live and learn. I hate hate hate to leave less than stellar reviews, but my recent visit here with my family for Easter brunch was fairly dismal. It was way overcrowded. We didn't get seated until 20 minutes after our reservation time. There were too many parties booked and the service suffered. I got one cup of coffee with no refills. The food was average, but not out of this world. The carving station servers were very nice, but they seemed overwhelmed with the sheer volume of customers. My entire family had asked for drink refill (coffee, diet coke, water, etc.), but our server was simply too busy to get around to it. I also had a pineapple mimosa, which was made with only sparkling wine. No pineapple juice. I asked our server about it and twenty minutes she came back with a glass of watered down apple juice. Weird, but I guess at least she was doing her best. They added some folding chairs and temporary tables. The chairs were not very comfortable. They were too close together and this just did not work for the price. I had high hopes. I don't think my family will return here again, at least not on a holiday. read more

My family made reservations on Easter Sunday for brunch, and we had a private dining area which was lovely! They had a buffet for brunch which was set up so well, and took necessary precautions for Covid which was great to see! They had an awesome "build your own" Bloody Mary and mimosas as well. Our waitress was friendly and we enjoyed her, but totally forgot to bring us all silverware before we got our food... so we had to wait and ask someone else who worked there ... causing our food to get cold. We also noticed the chafing dishes that held the food didn't have the flames lit (or perhaps they were hard to see) and some of the food we could tell had been sitting out for a while so it was also room temperature. If I could give this place a negative 15 stars I would. This is the worst restaurant in the Belden area. The ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE I've ever experienced in my life. Even if the food was amazing, which it is NOT, it could not make up for the complete LACK of giving a damn about the paying customers by the employees here. Food was good, not a big selection to choose from. Server wasn't great, she didn't check on us and we had to track her down for refills and eventually our check. We stopped here because it was super close to our hotel. We were really pleased. The service was excellent, prompt and attentive. Emily was a fantastic server. We started with house salads with the house dressing. The salads were crisp and fresh, the dressing delicious. We also had appetizers, Firecracker shrimp and cauliflower bites. Both appetizers were promptly brought to us and fantastic. The sauces were great on both. My husband enjoyed his salmon and roasted vegetables. I had the street tacos, which were great. To be honest I was hesitant thinking this would be another chain disaster---but I was wrong! Menu has many healthy choices for vegetarians or meat lovers. and chips just like the English style. Fresh, crispy but not greasy. Nice side of fries and coleslaw and enough to share quite honestly. Service was efficient and cheerful. I have gone to Burntwood tavern multiple times, and can never seem to figure it out. It is such a beautiful restaurant, and yet is never very busy. I always seem to have great service, great drinks and mediocre food. I will always come back due to everything else, I just prefer not to eat here. We ate at Burntwood tavern Thursday evening about 7pm. The place was nearly EMPTY! We actually thought they were closed when we drove up. I don't know what is going on with them but when my hubby ordered a draft beer they brought him a WARM beer. Then the server admitted that their draft system was having issues and offered to bring him a bottle- but they only have boring domestic beers. No craft beer in bottles. He sent his back and had water. Then she brought him the lobster bisque and it was room temperature at best. Not good but he was tired of complaining so ate half. Our entrees were great. My husband and I came here for happy hour - wow. Everything was amazing. Happy hour is usually only in the bar area, but since they didn't have space, they gave us happy hour prices in the dining room. The server went above and beyond - I feel bad I can't remember her name. We had about 30 minutes left to happy hour and she made sure to put in all our food as well as multiple rounds of drinks in the time frame. First off, the drinks were fantastic. I got their pear of cucs cocktail and a glass of house Chardonnay. The server was not very knowledgeable about the alcohol, but it wasn't a big deal. My husband got the tavern Manhattan (or 3 lol). I love that they handmake their cocktails from fresh ingredients. We got many apps from the happy hour menu. The tavern tots are amazing every time. Highly recommend. We also got their burger sliders, tuna nachos, and siracha deviled eggs. Everything was great. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they have been inconsistent sometimes. Most times, everything is amazing, but on occasion they miss the mark on some favorites. With that being said, we are lifelong fans and will keep going back! read more

We decided to give Burntwood a try because we had a coupon. We arrived at 12:30 and the restaurant was fairly empty. Not a good sign. Having never been there we asked for suggestions and our waitress really didn't have a clue what to recommend. I told her we wanted a heavier meal. She suggested fish from the appetizers. Yes we were on our own. I ordered the Burntwood burger and the hubs got the fish of the day. Once our order was taken we didn't see the waitress or our meal for about 20 minutes. My burger was overdone as was the fish. It was all dry. Even my bun was hard and a lil crispy. Clearly someone forgot it. We sat another 10 min waiting on our check to arrive. So nothing was delicious and the service was very slow. Whole experience was lacking. Probably won't be back. read more

There's lots of light from the numerous windows. We were seated promptly. The wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable and kind. Our food was phenomenal, just check our our photos. When we told the waitress, she added pineapple juice- it didn't help very much at all, she never asked if it was ok after. The calamari was delicious. I came here for a girls lunch and it was my first time. The atmosphere and ascetics are seriously impressive. The service was absolutely outstanding, and our server knew to give us time to chat and look at the menu before "nagging" us to order. She was so patient and understanding and I really appreciated it. When it was time to order, I wanted the 1/2 bacon cheeseburger but on a salad. It was absolutely no problem at all and I was shocked at how painless my off the menu request was. Let me just say... the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 was because the portion was super small... and I finished lunch still hungry. The burger was really small (it was 1/2 size but like a slider). If you go here, get the bacon cheeseburger. The bacon is candied bacon and literally the most delicious thing I've had in a loooooong time. Everyone in our group was happy with their food, and the lunch meet up couldn't have been better.
