I've been driving passed this little restaurant for years and never took notice. I was working in the area the other day and wanted something new and saw this place. I intended on getting a burrito but the picks of tacos looks so good I could not resist. So I came in and ordered 2 al pastor tacos and an Adoba taco. They were in fact so good and I was so hungry, I didn't get any pics. So I had to come back. And today I ordered the Gordita with ground beef. It was very good. Not nearly as good as the tacos, but they aren't just good, they're great! (Yeah, I know, stuff it Tony). I will be back, I will be back.... that sounds familiar too. Grocery shopping on an empty stomach is never a good idea. When leaving a nearby grocer my buddy and I spotted people walking with what looked like burritos. I of course asked them what it was they had there. They proclaimed that they had amazing breakfast burritos from Burrito Delight, and that it was just a short walk down the parking lot. What did we do next? Well, we tossed the groceries into the car and marched on over. The restuarant was clear on the other end of the shopping plaza from Esh's. We walked on in and were pleased by the aromas and seating options. The menu was posted on the wall and the ingredients and prices were clear. Ordering occurs up at the front counter. I went for a breakfast burrito with bacon (the waitresses's recommendation) and a tamale with red sauce (also recommended by the waitress). The burrito was around $3 and the tamale was just over $1. My companion enjoyed two tacos and a breakfast burrito (check our the pics attached to my review). We seated ourselves at a booth. It was clean and there was salt, pepper, red chili flakes and we think oregano flakes. Within minutes of being seated a waitress appeared with a basket of chips and salsa - on the house. Awesome! Soon after our order appeared as well as silverware wrapped in napkins. Everything was hot, nicely plated, and flavorful. I'm quite the hot sauce addiction and I'm pleased to share that I enjoyed my food so much I didn't even ask for any - tho I did put a little of the complimentary salsa verde on there. We enjoyed every single bite. We found ourselves full rather quickly as well. Both of us bringing about 1/3 of our breakfast burritos home. My husband and I went in to get 2 breakfast burritos. After I paid I asked about the Indian taco. I said to the man at cash register man I should have ordered one of those. Found this little local gem by accident- who knew there was a legit street taco joint in Dacono, of all places! Fresh and authentic, we had pastor, carne asada, pollo, and carnitas. Mexican Cokes, rice and beans! Breakfast is awesome- chilequiles with green sauce and handheld burritos. The service was great, too. We will be back! read more

This place has gotten a bum rap for something that never happened at this location. It took me forever to try this place thanks to the misinformation from others. Food was awesome! Had the Carne Asada Torta and Carne Asada street tacos! It's a little over priced on some things. They also ran out of ham for the Hawaiian torta. It was also a longer wait than what it should have been. But the food was still super good and worth the wait. Tables and floor needed to be cleaned. That's why I'm giving a 4 star. So wish I had tried this place sooner. P.S. This was not the location that had problems with food contamination. That was the other location in Fort Lupton and that makes more since seeing how all food East of 85 pretty much sucks and probably contaminated. This location closed as a precaution and to retrain employees throughout the chain. So, no one died from this location. read more

Just... wow. We've been looking for a good place close by to get real tacos (though they do also offer American tacos), and we've finally found our spot! The asada, al pastor, and buche were all fantastic and not at all dry like way too many of the other places we've been. The super burrito is mind-blowingly good too and way more burrito for the same price as you'll pay at the local taco trucks. They even have the trendy quesabirrias, which I plan to try on then next of what I believe will be many visits. Try this place!!! read more

We decided to go to this mom and pop restaurant based on friend's review. It was also support your local business Saturday. The place is very small and quaint located next to Daylight Donuts in the strip mall. It was hard to tell if it was open or not, but the door said they were open everyday from 6am until 8pm. We were greeted by a very nice person who asked us to take our time. We decided to go with one dozen tamales. The person behind the counter asked if we wanted green or red and they said the green was a little bit spicy, but not too spicy. We ended up getting six screen and six red to go. Yes, they take credit and debit cards. They were wrapped in foil and very hot. My family loved both kinds and we would highly recommended them. We are eager to go back and try other menu items. read more

We came in and I asked a guest who was waiting for his order what was good. He said everything and to preorder the tamales because they run out during the weekend. They said that it was a little bit of a wait because everything is made to order. And the waitress was super helpful in taking my order because I have dietary restrictions. Im from california and im mexican and its hard to find good Mexican food in colorado, but this is my spot lol staff is really nice, and i always get their carnita tacos they are pretty good and flavorful! No mames güey! This place is authentic and awesome! 99¢ Tacos, homemade salsa that is hot. Most places are scared to make salsa hot. Great horchata. The softest barbaco evar. Of course, the place is small, really small. It was hotter inside than it was outdoors. (Cooled by one small fan.) But, if you are after great food at really cheap prices... You must try this place! I truly do not get all the positive reviews. I found the food here to be inedible. Just a greasy, soggy mess.

Sign on the door says they open at 6am. I was there at 7am and the door was locked. I waited for 20 minutes and finally gave up. There was clearly someone working in the kitchen but they refused to open the door and or even indicate if they would be opening or not. Nobody answers the the phone or replies on social media either. Very sad as this was my favorite place to grab a breakfast burrito early in the morning! read more

Erin A was right! The Al Pastor burrito is fantastic. This place is a lot better than most of the Mexican places around Denver. The homemade salsa and chips are delicious. Make sure you come to the right place! There's two Mexican restaurants in this strip mall. I didn't really like the other one. We live a block away. Ate here once, was super gross. Glad we didn't go back because last year someone died of poopy food from here and they were shut down. The weld county website has all restaurant inspections posted as this is public record. I try not to eat at places that get shut down for being too disgusting. read more

It would be kind of me to call the food here mediocre, it's actually pretty bad based on my one experience actually waiting for my food. I was there twice but I only have one food experience because the service is so slow that I did not wait for my food to come the second time. I will not be returning to Burrito Delight. It takes a while to get your food and that's because they're making real food. Like other reviewers mentioned, this is a tiny restaurant at the end of a strip mall that looks closed. But ignore that because the food is great. We had a few chicken tacos and chile rellanos and it was all delicious. This is my favorite local Mexican place. The breakfast burritos are so delicious, we always went to Santiago's for breakfast burritos but these are way better and you can pick what protein you want. I've had all breakfast burritos, bacon, sausage and chorizo and they are all yummy. You have to get the salsa verde with your burrito, it is the best I've had, they also give it to you with chips if you sit down and eat. I've also had jeuvos rancheros and the chile rellenos, all great. Every time I try something new there it's yum! The place doesn't look great but tastes awesome! read more

Have gone to this place a few times. It's a small hole in the wall type of place. The food always tastes fresh and is delicious. Salsa is also good. Only things that were not great is that it does take awhile to get your food and it would be nice if they had a salsa bar so u don't have to ask them for more salsa every 10 minutes but overall great place to eat! read more
