Went to go inside to ask about rentals. We were standing there for 10 minutes , but sales reps were busy talking to people about nothing (not even about gear) instead of assisting customers with merchandis. We love the Burton brand so we're so sad about this experience. We ended up leaving & going to a nearby store for rentals & purchasing additional gear to take home. All Burton stores are closed in Vail, Lionshead and Beaver Creek. Too bad they are not open like the other stores as they are missing a lot of tourists dollars for the image of safety. The base customer of Burton knows that there is no more risk than the common cold. Open up Burton. We want your product but will go else where if you don't. read more

Went to Vail today with the family to walk around and spend some together. Popped into Burton with no real intention to buy anything and ended up buying my 16y/o a demo snowboard, boots & bindings. Got a fabulous deal buying last seasons gear. Best part was Brian, the very helpful and patient gentleman working this afternoon. He talked to my daughter about the board she was interested in and made sure the boots really fit, getting multiple sizes. He also explained in detail how to use the step in bindings, what to do and more importantly what not to do! To top it all off, he cleaned up the demo board and attached the bindings so she's all ready to go come snowboard season. We will be skiing Vail this season and will not hesitate to pop back in to Burton for any of our snowboarding needs! Thanks Brian! read more

Great staff at this store! Trevor and Griffin are extremely knowledgeable about the products. I didn't expect to buy new gear in Vail, but they set me up with a great pair of demo boots and bindings to try out on the mountain. I ended up buying both boots and bindings and am so glad I did! Both Trevor and Griffin are really friendly and they went above and beyond for me. I highly recommend stopping into this shop if you are in Vail. read more

Compared to other Burton stores this location seemed to be less helpful and friendly if you are there for help and not to purchase new products. They did not really seem motivated to help me with Burton step in binding issues nor diagnose part of one binding that was wearing faster. The Burton store in Boulder was much more helpful and extremely friendly. read more

What a gem! My friend and I were so excited to get on the mountain and Brian and Sean did not disappoint. They gave us personalized attention and help - lots of boot changes, needing goggles, discounts! Brian went above and beyond to teach me the best about goggle care and held all our shoes, sunglasses and extra lenses. We came back twice with other questions just because we knew they would help us out. On the way off the mountain we were eager to report on our amazing day. Just travelled from Ohio for 4 days of riding and had a major issue, day 1. I was anticipating a major pain in the a** the i saw the burton store and went in, yesterday probably 1:00 ish. The guy working at that time really incredible helpful. We tried several things and we got it all set up! Best shop experience ever. He also gave us spot on dining recommendations. Being new to snowboarding I was a little scared walking into the retail store not wanting to get totally taking advantage of. I spoke with a girl named Roxie which totally helped me out! Gave me all the information I needed! Walked me through everything; all the stuff I'll need what's, what and the best stuff for being a newbie. She was super chill with no pressure to buy anything. I actually went back bought a board she recommended (totally feel in love with it). When I went back I was helped by another worker who was just as knowable and just as helpful! Brian went above and beyond to help me out today. We were having a stellar day riding some deep snow when I broke a binding baseplate sending it off a cliff.
