Handy shop, emoyee he was helpful in finding the right size ski boys and had Intel on what worked best for wide feet etc. They had a decent selection of gloves, helmets, pants, skk boots, skis and snowboard stuff. Some of the things were new and of the things were used. We scored some great nordica boots that made skiing much more enjoyable. He was willing to fit them to our skis however, seeing how the foot size didn't change they actually fit fine. All in all, I would definitely suggest dropping by here if you're looking to score a good deal or need some fair priced new equipment. read more

Jared and Robert are absolute pros and really nice people! There was another really nice gentleman who just moved from Katy Texas in October who works there as well. Robert was extremely nice to my son and I. He told us about an amazing trail near by. We went on a 3 hour bike ride. It was so worth it. The views were breathtaking. We had a really good time and a great workout. I highly suggest you come here, rent a bike and go biking. If you need to rent bikes etc, go see these guys. They will take good care of you. I am really happy I stopped in. Absolutely great company and great guys working there! They are all very knowledgeable and helpful. Keep up the good work! Not a great experience. The shop was supposed to open at 8:00. No one there. So I called and they said they would arrive at 8:30. So we waited. Ended up getting 2 E-bikes. They were nice bikes, except that my wife's bike popped the chain when she was shifting. I attempted to get the chain back on track but couldn't. We were probably 5 miles from the store so I called them. I expected an "I'm sorry about that" but instead got a "the bike worked yesterday so you must have done something to it". Well, interestingly, every time my car or anything else for that matter breaks down, it worked perfectly fine the day before. Come on. Anyway, he said he couldn't come get me and told me to leave the bike on the trail. Hmm. Luckily, after a little while, I was able to get the chain back on. We returned to the shop and once again there was no there. So we dropped off the bikes and left. They seem like nice people, but they really need to treat their customers better. read more

We rented ebikes. I had the Fat tire ebike. My wife rode the Aventon, the fat tire bike was to big for her. We had an amazing time on them. Did mostly the paved trail to Frisco. We did a little off road. The renting process was very simple. We will be definitely be renting from Ridden for now on. I do suggest wearing some padded shorts for the fat tire bike. The seat not very forgiving. My wife had no issues with the Aventon. Frisco and back. 2.5 hours. Used less then half of battery life. read more

Great operation and opportunity to bike the trails of Breckinridge! We chose the Brewery/ Distillery tour and Chris was a great guide! He shared the town history and was patient when this old girl needed to rest between stops. The elevation is a challenge even on flat trails btw. Cost included a beer at the brewery and distillery tastings. Fun way to spend the day- Ridden didn't disappoint. read more

Firstly, let me state that this store totally saved our snowboard/ski vacay. Due to the unfortunate nature of tumultuous travel post 911, our entire bag of equipment is missing. Thanks to Jared at Ridden, we were able to get on the mountain day 1. This place has it all-rentals, consignment, and some new gear too. From clothing, to skis and snowboards...he set us up perfectly! He even found my healing feet a pair of barely used ski boots to purchase that don't hurt my sensitive feet and keep my Miami Beach feet totally warm while on the slopes. Our eldest got a rockin' new board with bindings! I'm so impressed by Jared and by Ridden. He cared for us at a time when we really needed a rescue. We took the beer and bike tour today had a great time. Jared was our tour guide. He took us to several local distilleries and a micro-brewery combined with some pretty easy downhill biking. After the tours of the distilleries and brew house a van took us back up the hill into town. Very nice touch if altitude is a challenge for you or people in your group. Breck is almost 2 miles high so the air is thin. Biking and boozing might sound unwise but all the sampling was in small quantities. We also had two minors in our group and they were welcome and had fun. Would recommend to groups looking for a fun afternoon in Breck. Tour was about 2.5 hours. Price was reasonable and they discounted the price for the minors. read more

It was a great ride with Alyssa. The bikes and broken compass brewery were awesome. The distillery tasting was good but rushed. It would be 5* except that the return transportation from the distillery never arrived and so we took the town bus back. The groups ahead of us waited 45 min and finally took an Uber. We were told 5 min multiple times in 30 minutes and finally gave up. Fix the return transport please! read more

Down the street from where we're staying, we stopped by to see if they had any snowboard boots for rent or buy for our 8-year old. They had both! $10 a day rentals, but we went with a pair of used Burton boots for $40. The place is no frills, convenient location and friendly service. I'd recommend going in or calling these guys first for snow gear. read more

Rented fat tire e-bikes from Ridden. My Son and I put 50.2 miles on them in a day. We did run them out of battery power the first half of the day. Dropped them off for a re-charge. Came back in an hour and they were 2/3 charged. Took off up Boreas pass and ran them out. Went back down to the shop and they hooked us up again. Over the day we went up ski hill rd to peak 8 3 different times. Went to Frisco and back. Went up Boreas Pass Rd and visited the Cowboy Mine. Most of the locations had significant elevation gain. The bikes were amazing. I feel like the shop went above and beyond. read more

Been meaning to leave this review for quite sometime now. Our family of five has been renting skis from Ridden for several seasons, and they've never failed us. Last Thanksgiving we rented, and I think Joshua helped us. A well traveled gentleman, and a true pleasure to work with while figuring out what to rent. He was helpful on many levels to include Breckenridge things to do updates, and just a nice, kind person. We will rent from Ridden as long as we don't buy skis, which will probably be never since Ridden has such great equipment at a reasonable price. read more

Deciding to try something different in Breckenridge, Dan and I booked ourselves the Whiskey and Wine tour with Ridden, and were not disappointed. Ridden does "Fat Bike Tours" which are multi-speed bikes with unusually large tires and yet light-weight. Our meeting point was the brick and mortar shop right on Main Street in Breck, where we were fitted for helmets, and bikes to be on our way. It was just Dan and I on our tour so we felt we could relax a little more and enjoy the tour. Our tour guide Jacob, was friendly, casual and informative. We started out going North and made our way to the replica of a Dredge boat and learned about the history of the different rushes in Breckenridge. Our first stop was at the Carboy winery, which we were met by the nicest bartender, learned some about the winery, and sampled some of their wines. We enjoyed our tasting and were soon back on the road to ride the Breck Rec trail. We had a blast riding on the snow packed trail, taking in the scenery, and enjoying the outdoors. I loved that Jacob offered to take us on a bit longer ride before ending at the Breckenridge Distillery. Luckily we learned we would not have to bike back up the hill but Ridden comes and gets the bikes and we can shuttle back from the Distillery (I will review that on its own). There are other tours anyone can do but personally we really enjoyed our time and liked Jacob as a tour guide. Being on a bike gives you a different perspective of the entire town and allows for some new memories. Happy sight seeing! read more

I've rented from a few places in Breck and Ridden has been the best! The guys there are awesome and so helpful, very patient. And the equipment was quality! Jared makes these awesome wood Colorado signs you can purchase, he was wearing a Boston Red Sox hat but looks like the KC Royals pitcher Danny Duffy. And Rob was so great helping my sister and i get fitted for skis. Once we got set up with our rentals we were ready to hit the slopes, all we had to do was walk across the street to catch the quicksilver on peak 9. Great location! read more

We had no idea what to expect for a 3.5 mile fat bike tour to Broken Compass brewery, but we decided, WTF, let's give it a shot. We are pretty strong riders, and didn't expect what was delivered. Plus, we like beer. The owner, Rob, took us out on state of the art Borealis carbon bikes, which are standard for the shop. The ride was the advanced option which was about 6-7 miles, and totally cool , filled with as much touring or high jinx fun as requested. The end of the ride culminated at the brewery where he and another guide joined us for some seriously great craft beer at the Broken Compass brewery. I particularly loved the coffee IPA and the bourbon IPA. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

My wife and I went on the fat tire bike tour during our recent visit to Breckenridge. Jared took us out on Borealis carbon bikes for a spin around town and then down bike paths to the Breckenridge Distillery for a tour and tasting. After That, it was back on the bikes and we headed out to the Broken Compass brewery for some seriously great craft beer to finish out the tour. We took an early morning ride down from Boreas Pass. Amazing experience and great value! The bikes were in top shape, so we were up and running in no time. Rob offered some local history on the ride up, took some photos of us at the summit, and trailed behind us as the safety/sag wagon. We would definitely do this again. read more

I went with a couple friends on the fat tire bike tour around Breckenridge. The staff we encountered were friendly and professional. Rob, who's also the owner, was great--knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and organized. He obviously cares about the customer experience (really high quality fat tire bikes!--no joke) and about community engagement (weaving local shops and businesses into the experience for us to get a feel for this historical goldmine of a town). We ended our tour at the distillery and brewery. Rob was on point when it came to organizing and planning things so we didn't have to wait around for our bikes to be hauled back or for a ride when my friends and I were finally ready to leave the brewery. Everything about the day was delicious! I'd highly recommend this tour, and would go on another tour when I'm back in Breckenridge. Love those fat tires! Ride with Ridden. read more
