I went in for a nostril piercing with Shay and she was amazing! Ash helped me pick out the jewelry I wanted and was very patient with me. I highly recommend them. What I did learn that might help others is that you will need to buy jewelry from them, you can't bring your own. They have quite the variety though so should be able to find something. I was very happy and tipped accordingly however later realised I tipped for the overall cost - piercing plus jewelry and not just the service. It would be great if that's specified because I was so excited and happy after my piercing that I didn't realize or ask about this while I was there! read more

Wow! This place is amazing. I got my first piercing (septum) done with Shay and it was great they did so good and I felt so comfortable that I was being walked through exactly what was happening. Doesn't show the actual price for the jewelry on the website. Said it was 50 dollars but thats just the service fee. if you want gold jewelry there are no options below 100 dollars. The piercer didn't center my piercing correctly and i left crying and had to take it out. Gave false information about the refund saying that if I didn't take the jewelry, I would get a full refund, but I didn't and I only got a refund for the service fee. And I couldn't cancel the appointment because they have a cancellation fee. read more

I got a helix piercing in January and a daith piercing about a week ago with Shay and she is excellent. I've had no issues with either piercings so far. This was by far the best piercing experience I've ever had. I scheduled an appointment for an eyebrow piercing and was greeted by Thea who immediately made me feel comfortable and warm. The energy within the first 5 minutes of me walking into the shop was already amazing and I had not even gotten my piercing yet. Shay was my piercer and was an absolute sweetheart also. They walked me through the whole process, showing me the tools that would be used, and gently guided me through the piercing process as to not stress me out. Quick and painless! I'm obsessed. I scheduled an appt just for 2 jewelry replacements and I walked in 30 mins early. I was taken right in by the owner Anji. She was helpful and easy to talk to. I chose my jewelry without any hiccups or stress and she replaced them quickly. We then walked around for a while and I realized I should just replace all the other earrings to match (what my end goal was). So I popped my head in to just check it out and see if there's even an availably to do this. Both Anji and Fry waved to me and said "hey you're back!" I said yep! First Impressions: I came with a friend to get her tongue pierced here a month or so ago. I was immediately super impressed - the owners, who are partners, were in that day and really chopped it up with us and gave us great care and attention. Anji was a genius with her piercing, and Frei couldn't have been cooler showing me around the jewelry cabinets while I waited. Very very clean, and good looking shop and fantastic vibes all around. I knew I had to try this place for my own next piercing. I just got back from that today and here's how it went: Right off the bat - I got to my appointment early but Frei handled my intake right away. I had originally booked my piercing with Shay, but Shay wasn't feeling well, and had to leave the shop before we could proceed with my appointment. (I appreciate this team for encouraging eachother to take the health of clients /and/ piercers seriously!). I could not possibly have had a better experience with the extra piercer on staff who handled the rest of my appointment, Brooke. I was having nipple piercings done, obviously a physically sensitive and socially intimate spot. Brooke did everything right! She was friendly, bubbly, and relaxed, but very detail oriented, careful, and always checked in while touching or proceeding with steps. Respectful and informed without being clinical or overbearing. Oh, and arguably the most important part, the piercings themselves came out flawless. Obviously the pain of the actual piercing itself is subjective client to client, but if I were the type of person to be nervous leading up to a piercing or nervous about revealing my body, I would have nothing to worry about in this shop or with Brooke. She explained to me that she's limited edition around here, so ask for her while you still can! Otherwise, fear nothing with the rest of the incredible staff. I'm so glad a shop this nice is so accessible to me. I'm looking forward to coming back here for jewelry shopping, downsizing, and hopefully some new piercings as much I can! I am so happy to have found this gem. My family and I were in Seattle for a trip and it was our last day there (few hrs before catching our flight) and I wanted to find a piercing place to get my ears pierced. My bad on my end, I didn't make an appointment but when we walked into Bury Me in Gold, we had the warmest welcome by Frei & Anji.
