Tash in an amazing tattoo artist and creates a really wonderful and safe environment to be tattooed. They spent time with me creating my tattoo. When it came time to put it on my body, we made a few adjustments to the art and they were really patient with me readjusting the placement like a million times. They have a great eye for how the tattoo will move with you body, and how it will look from different angles. I cannot recommend them more.

Was tattooed by Tash a few weeks ago and they were so professional whilst still being friendly and cool. They were very patient when i wanted the stencil relayed a few times and they took time to explain everything before they started tattooing to make sure I was comfortable even though it wasn't my first time. The time went quickly and with very little pain and the tattoo came out great! Very pleased with the overall experience and the end result! Hope to be tattooed by them again some day.

I came here at the recommendation of a friend to get a cover up for an abuse related tattoo. It was important to me to be tattooed by another trans or nonbinary person. Tash put lots of effort and thought into making me feel so incredibly safe, and the whole process was very consent focused. Their studio was beautiful and well lit with tons of art and decorations to look at. They were so respectful and informative and the whole experience felt very emotionally safe for me. They came up with a gorgeous design, adjusted the sizing and placement at my request, talked me through the whole process and showed me all the colors they'd picked and why. They also wore a mask and required everyone in the studio to wear one as well as having what I think was an air purifier running the whole time, which as someone who's very Covid cautious myself, made me feel really safe and comfortable. They allowed me to split it up into two two hour sessions, and although they state on their website they prefer no numbing cream, they allowed me to use it (I asked beforehand during my initial inquiry) which was a lifesaver for my pain tolerance, which tends to be pretty low for needles. They also gave me information about which otc painkiller is better to avoid blood thinning. The studio was a comfortable temperature and they explained aftercare to me as well as gave me a pretty inexpensive product recommendation for healing which was easy to find at a drugstore, and gave me a card with all the aftercare instructions written down too. They had good sanitation practices, every surface was covered, and they changed gloves multiple times to avoid cross contamination. They also talked me through aspects of their tattoo process, such as redoing the lines again after colors to make them pop. Their secretary who responds to emails was very communicative and helpful. For my first session, their partner was in the studio tattooing another client for part of it, for the second session it was just the two of us. There was so much care and thought and consent put into this whole experience, and the result is absolutely stunning. I will 100% be coming back. Thank you so much to Tash for such a wonderful and healing experience. I can't see my old tattoo at all, and the result is more beautiful than I imagined.

My first tattoo by them was a flash piece that they ended up modifying a bit for me day of, which was extremely considerate and thoughtful.

During that time I've never actually written a review before, but my recent sessions with Tim Bradley (aka Mean Ole Tim) at the Wallingford location deserve one. Tim has been an absolute standout. He's not just a skilled tattooer -- he's an artist and professional in the truest sense. His ability to translate an idea into something that feels both deeply personal and beautifully cohesive is unreal. He recently completed a full torso panel of my German shepherd, Stryder, in an Irezumi-inspired style, as well as two custom hand pieces -- and every step of the process was collaborative, thoughtful, and executed with precision. What I appreciate most is Tim's mix of humility, humor, and quiet confidence. He listens, gives honest feedback, and works with a level of care that shows in every line and aspect of the piece. The end result isn't just cool ink -- it's art that carries weight, intention, and soul. After nearly a decade with STTN, I can say this has been one of my best experiences yet. If you're looking for someone who genuinely gives a damn about both the craft and the client, Tim's your guy.

It was so amazing and I was so impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted in a very nice way, my needs were heard and respected, and, oh my, what a selection of different jewelry they have to pick from, very impressive! Adam did my ear piercing and listened to where I wanted the new piercing and Adam double checked before we proceeded with the piercing. But what most impressed me was how he prioritized Sanitation. I think he must have changed his gloves four times after he touched every item needed for the process. He explained aftercare very well. Checkout was wonderful too, they made sure that I knew how to contact them at any time if I had any other questions or concerns after the fact. Oh, and they made sure I knew what the end cost would be even before the actual piercing so there are no surprises at checkout.

I appreciate the timely response and abilities to take walk in! I got a response from Ingrid literally a few minutes after sending an inquiry on their site at 1 AM ( not drunk, just a night owl ). So happy that Ingrid was able to book my brother and I in on a Saturday slot. I gave her an inspo pic which my brother and I wanted to match for Spongebob & Patrick and she did so much better than I could have imagined! She had such a cute and colorful style. As a first time tattoo, Ingrid was calm, walked me through the process and checked on me just enough during the inking. She also posts the aftercare on her insta which is great for one to look back on. I highly recommend her designs I love our tattoos and the healing process has been so seamless. Especially my design doesn't even require any of her drawing and creativity. Same date , I told her I am no longer pursuing a tattoo appt with her and I would like to cancel the appt for 9/8/2022 (the appt was cancelled 2 weeks prior to the actual date), then she refused to refund my deposit. Your website says 48 hours prior to appt notice for rescheduling/ cancellation or deposit is subject to be forfeited. I cancelled my appt more than 2 week, which was because Bunky Oyster was trying to up charge me by 4 times of the market price, and she refused to refund my deposit. Today I completed the exact same design for $180 w tips, and the session was completed within an hour.
