I planned a night here for a friends birthday with a group of ladies. Communication was slow going, but they are not open much during the week unless you make an appointment, so that's understandable. We reserved a lane and had Jeremy assisting us so we halfway knew what we were doing. Jeremy taught us everything from how and where to stand, how to hold it, and taught us games to play. He even helped us remember to take pictures and videos, which we usually realize after the fact that we should have done that. Super fun experience! read more

Great time! The employees are great here! We went for a company team building event and we had a blast. You can bring your own food and booze which is great and they have more than just ace throwing they also had yard games which was cool and other types of throwing activities aside from just browsing axes. My first time axe throwing. I loved it despite being terrible at it. Our axe master was super patient and though he was working with more than one group he would come back frequently and watch us. When we arrived everything was clean and welcoming. Ben was our instructor for the night. He was celebrating with those who got the hang of throwing quickly as well as being encouraging and supportive to those who had trouble finding their throw. He refereed our games keeping score and organization. He was exciting and engaging while hosting the games. Keeping everyone involved super excited to throw. I supervise at a Los Angeles restaurant, so we have to deal with some pretty entitled guests, so I have a decent eye for a good employee. My kids wanted to try this and I thought fine fine whatever I'll do this for the kids, but I actually had a lot of fun also!! They did a great job of providing someone (Mitchell) to teach us proper technique and help us correct problems with our throwing. He also taught us how to throw one handed and even let us practice on an open lane. We really had a great time doing something we had never done before. I would come back again soon to do this again! Jake, our axe master, was super awesome and gave us very good tips. Jake was very thorough and patient with us. After we got comfortable throwing, Jake even set up about 5 different games for us to play. When you win 3/5 games, you get a a block to keep from there. You can also take pics in their throne chair. We had 2 hours of time, and if you have a small group then that's more than enough time, in my opinion. My arms were definitely sore the next day. This is an activity you must try. read more

Great experience! Went here on a date with my boyfriend and it was awesome. I was hesitant but I ended up having so much fun. Our instructor was so helpful and funny! He never made us feel bad (even though we were not good). In our first 5 minutes there he took me from not making it in the board, to getting bullseyes. He just gives a brief 5-10 minute instruction and then you get the whole hour to yourself unless you need help. I thought it was a great experience! read more

Walked in on a slow Tues, after chatting with the associate & filled out the traditional waiver....We got a tutorial of axe throwing from our master. We were put with another couple for a tourney then bracket. I was a little unsure about this but really enjoyed it! U can bring ur own drinks in providing u keep them behind the bookcase. For about $35 we had a full 2 hours of entertainment from each other, the other couple, & our master. Definitely will need to go again with some friends and definitely during the week. We visited here for a friend's birthday party and it was SO MUCH FUN! I was kind of nervous about it but our axe master did an awesome job explaining it and making it enjoyable. Got to check out this new venue. My first time throwing axes and had a blast. You have to sign a waiver of course. There are many cages and different axes. Two lanes to a cage. Very well lit. Lots of tables, seatings, and cubbies for your people and your things. The axemaster was helpful and kept things moving. He also keeps score for you so you can just have fun. Something I've wanted to try for awhile now. I was lucky enough to attend an event here and do it for free! Let me just say I would definitely pay to do it again! They have many coupons available on Groupon and even just for checking in on Yelp! Its BYOB, which is nice because it's generally a lot cheaper that way, so make sure you bring your drinks to have a little extra fun! The axe throwing experience is something else too. You get assigned an "Axe Master" that helps guide you through your time here. He/She will teach you how to throw, give tips through out, and keep track of the scoring for you so you can focus on having fun! There's even prizes for the winners! First time axe throwing. Our "Axe Master" was great and helpful throughout our session. The actual axe throwing part was a lot of fun. However, the reason for the 1-star is because of the music playing loudly during our entire 1-hour session. It was a playlist of countless songs containing expletives such as the F-word, as well as lyrics about sucking male anatomy. It tainted the whole experience for us and we will not be returning nor recommending this location to anyone. read more

I was in town for a girls trip and found a Groupon for this location. I was very nervous doing this and I'm so glad I got talked into it! Our axe master Alec was amazing at explaining how to throw an axe vs a hatchet. There was definitely a learning curve for me and Alec was very patient helping me make small adjustments each time. We had an awesome experience at Bury the Hatchet! Two of us went on a Saturday morning for some axe throwing. We wanted to try something new and exciting, and do so in a relaxed environment. Bury the Hatchet was just that. There were only four of us in the building at 10am on a Saturday, so the experience felt very intimate and we had a lot of axe throwing time. Kevin, our axe master, was superb. He was enthusiastic, encouraging, and gave great technique advice to make sure we could get the most out of our time. We even got to do a birthday axe throw with balloons! Overall, this is a great business with wonderful employees. We are looking forward to returning! read more

Went in a group of people I didn't know. I had a great time, the hacket employee was super fun. He was great at explaining how things worked, rules and of course how to throw. Last about 2 hrs, learned to throw and then they place you in a tournament. Was able to practice on the side. I got worse the more I practiced and tried.
