I paid something like $350 at the time of the visit and it was my understanding that would cover the procedure with my insurance picking up the rest. It wound up being close to a $1,000 bill altogether. That's a surprise 200% increase. Despite having given her my health AND dental insurance information and her insistence that she sent both to the lab billing, they only received the health insurance. Once I gave them the dental insurance, it covered most of the lab bill. So I'm basically doing Dee's job for her. And her only reply to the increase of the doctor's visit cost was "oh, it looks like they're saying you're out-of-network." Isn't that something you check when you first look at billing?! This level of incompetence in medical billing... Or does she do it intentionally? But the end of the road for me was when she yelled at me on the phone. I have no tolerance for that. I'll never go back. And I've recommended to my dentist that they do not send patients to this office.

My experience with them has been nothing short of a disaster, and I feel compelled to warn others before they make the same mistake. I initially had two posts placed for dental implants by Dr. Hall. The first post fell out within days. I asked them not to charge me for the failed procedure and assumed that was honored. That second one also failed, leading to an infection that required another dentist to remove it. The new dentist informed me that Dr. Hall hadn't even placed the post far enough into the bone, which explains why it failed. Here's where it gets even worse: after we had already finished paying for the second post, we suddenly received a bill for thousands of dollars out of the blue--years later. I called and emailed repeatedly to get an explanation, but they have completely ignored my attempts to contact them. Despite receiving thousands from my insurance company, they continue to harass me with bills while refusing to respond to my inquiries. At this point, if anything, they owe ME money for the costs I incurred fixing their botched work. Instead, they continue their shady billing practices and radio silence. If you're considering Central Oregon Dentist--don't. Go somewhere reputable where they stand by their work and treat their patients with basic professionalism and competence.
