Should change their name to Booooooo-sa. First time I went there was because I have a friend that lives down the street, so it was convenient. Didn't have a problem. Went another time. No problem. did notice that the staff as weird, but they were young so didn't think anything of it. Talk about about 3rd times the charm... they would not sell to me... some drivel about not taking an out of state ID. I looked at the woman and was like serious? I've been here 3 times, you sold to me last time...She told me no. I told her just slide my card through the machine like you did last time. She told me no again... So I offered my PASSPORT. No. No? Really Booooo-sa liquors... YOU HAVE TO EXCEPT A PASSPORT!! So someone commented before about notoriously entitled family and I see that they are a franchise somewhat. So I'm wondering if they are inbred because this type of business set up is not very bright. So because I was having a wine and cheese party, I went down to Berman's where they were friendly, took my ID (because the grey hair and tattoos really make me look underage) and purchased $150 worth of wine... I drive 15-20 minutes out of my way just to AVOID Busa's. They're extremely rude, and I refuse to give them my business anymore on principle. They would not sell to me because I was with an old friend from out-of-state who was visiting, and despite both of being use being well of legal age, they wouldn't accept her out of state license, nor sell to me after that fact! I can understand wanting to protect oneself from the liability of underage drinkers, but they're just ridiculous. The sooner they're out of business the better. read more

They were extremely rude to a friend of mine, the owner and an employee following him out into the parking lot all the way to the parking lot and harassing him, and using the foulest language, accusing of opening one of the beers that he bought. He was already well out of the store. read more

I am sorry to say that since John "left" customer service has suffered. There are no greetings let alone conversations. Managers appear to not really care. Remain sitting on stool even when the store is empty most of the time. Miss the customer service of the past. Will not be returning. read more

Notably the most complacent, cold customer service I've ever received. Walked in to no greeting in an empty, overly fluorescent store on a Saturday. It was the kind of environment where you hear the full buzz of the lights. Sparse selection, bad pricing and it doesn't feel particularly clean. As I checked out I gave a hopeful "hi, how are ya?" to the miserly Lurch-like attendant at the front who appeared to have lost his soul long ago. He did not offer a reply or so much as a smile or eye contact. He slowly and angrily scanned my two items and allowed the screen to do the talking on price. I collected my items and left feeling oddly depressed and wondering what just happened. Perhaps I should feel star struck to have met the real life ebinezer Scrooge, but alas I just feel yucky. I'll go out of my way to avoid in the future. Trust the abundance of 1 star reviews and take your business elsewhere. read more

I could not agree with the reviews above more. This is THE most unprofessional liquor store I have ever been across. The sales people are down right nasty, they have zero respect for customer appreciation and view all there customers as worthless. I have gone several times so this does not come from a one time experience. Any store that has the inability to sell to an individual that presents a PASSPORT, Out of State Id, and Student ID card should seriously reconsider there policies. It is a wonder how they are still in business, if the store is serious about remaning in business they should ask there customers for serious feedback. read more

Don't bother. I'm 29 years old and visiting family from California. Wine selection is atrocious and over priced. Like others they wouldn't take an out of state ID. I asked to speak with the manager an with a smerk he said he was. Absolutely unprofessional even if that is the policy. read more

Just wanting to speak up for my neighborhood store... I am not close to 21 and I'm not from out of state, so I can't comment on their out of state license policy. But it seems to make sense to me that they would want to limit their liability - while young people do have a right to buy alcohol, Busa also has a right to set their own policies. The selection is just ok. They've recently added some craft beers. For what they do have, their prices tend to be pretty good. Compared with Bergmans down the street, prices on liquor tend to be about $5 less per bottle. Wine discounts vary compared with Bergmans and they don't have as wide of a selection, but the prices are lower. For example, I host a big New Year's party and make Champaigne cocktails using a Spanish white wine. The bottle at Busa is $9. At Bergmans it's $14. That's a substantial savings per case. The staff has never been rude to me. I've never asked for wine advice - not really the place for that (anyone with eyes can see that). So overall, I'm pretty happy with Busa and glad they're in business! read more

I want to say that i have no problem with this place but alas i wont! the last time i went in one of the employees approached me, claiming "i don't want to sound like a dink or nothing..." and then proceeded to tell me how i was bad at my job (which is across the street) and that i need to relearn everything i do as an employee at my job.... after i stood up for myself letting him know, not only did i have no intention of supplying him with poor service but i had no intention of explain myself after i apologized, fixed the problem and he left my store with no complaints 2 hours prior. HE THEN FOLLOWS ME OUT OF THE STORE saying i am bad at my job again while holding his "unsatisfactory product" in the air which was more than half empty at this time. The guy in charge at the time then comes out and tells the guy to get back inside and that he apologizes for the awkward situation that's happened. i tell him that I'm not fine with it but i guess i deserved it because the guy thought it fit to call me out once inside his store and then again outside of the store. I don't know if this employee is related to the business owner or if he just has some sort of seniority. helk, for all i know he's the town idiot. I've honestly never heard of a worse situation to be in when you just wanna purchase some beer. i feel like a baby for placing my consumer woes on here but i figure I'd just get it off my chest. take it easy. read more

Your rating should be 5 stars!!! Butttttt..... I am a frequent customer who travels from Concord. Your prices are very competitive and selection is great. I enjoy trying different wines. The women who assists in the wine section is often, no, ALWAYS RUDE!!!!! She has a condescending attitude. My selections averages from 10-20 dollar range. At first I thought she was too busy, but after multiple incidents she comes across the same way. I don't even approach her anymore. Which is easy because when I walk into the store she avoids me. REALLY SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Luckily the check out employees are always polite. Ms. Wine needs an attitude adjustment. She's dragging the store down. Terrible customer service. They don't take out of state identification. The people at the register are incredibly un-informed about the products they sell.
