Ok... it's a gas station, not a culinary masterpiece. However, it's what you need on your morning commute. Easy in and out. The coffee is always hot and ready to go. The "fixins" are always stocked. Store is disgustingly filthy almost all the time. Floor today (4:30pm) was sticky and clearly not washed in some time (soda area, food prep area, all of it!). Soda machine was sticky as were all the cups under it. 2 employees sitting behind the counter. Walked out and may not be back. read more

This store is not safe. I have been in twice recently. Both times, one of the cash register workers was not wearing a mask. I am disappointed that Cumberland Farms does not care more about the safety of its customers. This place is trash. Bathroom is filthy. Customer service is awful. Receipt paper at pumps never have paper. Store is also always closed and the pumps are under maintenance due to staff shortage. So frustrating to have to waste gas and time to find them always closed. Lastly the store never have SmartPay rewards promotional product in store...So the coupon expires because you can't use them. Best coffee in Lexington. I am not kidding y'all. Peruvian and Ethiopian bolds, mmmmmm. Honey, double shots, hazelnut etc and all for 99c. Cumberland Farms is going to put Starbucks out of business if people actually try this stuff. Only con is the Styrofoam cup which I and the world could really do without. The egg salad sandwiches are not bad for the price and considering its a gas station! The staff here is the friendliest gas station staff I have ever encountered, they can even smile at my grouchy face at 7 in the morning. Now that takes some doing! read more

A couple of co-workers and I go in there for coffee after lunch occasionally. A few weeks back I by accidentally spilled a coffee. I obviously felt really bad about doing so and proceeded to clean up my mess. The cashier who was helping me was the manager there by the name of Kane. Kane made me feel like i absolutely ruined his day, but the funny part was he just stood there while my co worker and I cleaned up about 95% of the mess. Kane never accepted my apology after i repeated "i'm sorry" multiple times to him, and he also didn't give me the option to go refill my cup after i spilled the whole thing. Now when i go in there, I am the centerpiece to his childish jokes that he doesn't have the courage to repeat to my face, he says them loudly enough just so my co-workers can hear him (my personal favorite is his nickname for me, spills). But as soon as i threatened him with writing this yelp review, he acted like a deer in headlights and tried to come up with the most bullshit small talk with me, too late Kane. I would have respected him a lot more if he actually chipped in and cleaned up the mess that i made, which is clearly part of his job, and if he had the guts to say to me what he said to everyone else. I have a degree in hospitality business and have also held positions similar to his at Cumberland farms and it is a shame to the industry that someone who acts that way to customers holds a managerial position. That being said everyone else that works there is fine, I am only complaining about Kane. The coffee is good and very cheap, but i'd rather go to Dunkin and spend the extra 2 dollars. At least they wont hold it against me for the rest of time if I spill, they would actually give me a new one. read more

I stop here almost every day to grab a coffee and sometimes gas. Everyone there is super friendly, and I've never had a bad experience. The staff goes out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. There's always coffee brewed when I get there, both hot and iced. The staff is always refreshing the pots, checking temperatures, and making sure the coffee is good. There are tons of creamers, flavor syrups, sugars/substitutes, and even espresso shots for you to customize your coffee. I haven't stopped at dunkin donuts since trying a coffee here, and its only $1 any size. I have really only gotten coffee/muffins and basic convenience items, but everything is always fresh, clean, and organized. Its hard leaving there without buying a Chocolate Muffin every day.... read more

This place is always filthy inside and out and they never keep up with stocking the food inside the place it's an embarrassment for the town of Lexington. Many of you (my loyal followers) now know me to speak rather eloquently in terms of my debatably suggestive allegory through the vicarious visage that exists in Slobert S. Now that I have cleared the air let me first and foremost say that it may not be top quality food or drink, however, any patron of the establishment is not expecting so. Many of you may be asking right now, "But Slobert, what qualifies a gas station/convenience store as superior to the others?!?" The answer is simple, selection and customer service. This store is a centerpiece of the greater Lexington community and on any given Friday or Saturday night, groves of local heroin addicts are attracted to this establishment like moths to light. Do not, however, mistake my claims as complaints of any homogenous form. The crowds Cumberland Farms attracts only adds to the overall community oriented atmosphere. There is a magnitude of foods to choose from including candy, baked goods and drinks. It is unnecessary for me to elaborate further on the immense variety that thrives in this environment. This establishment is the kind where I can go in and be 24 cents short on my pack of menthols and the cashier will still sauce the pack my way, in other words the kind of place I like to make further business transactions with. In summary, I thoroughly enjoy the general atmosphere created here and find the selection of goods highly satisfactory and will suit anyone's needs. In terms of gas my opinion is scarce, price is not ridiculous, but could be lower. Every experience here is unique and your objective and wildest dreams will always be fulfilled. read more

This store is simply amazing..place is always stocked to the brim..whether you want hot coffee,warm food,cold sandwiches,fresh pastries.. especially at night the crew there is super friendly outgoing always greet you upon arriving. Fabiana i believe her name is. Dont think shes a manager but sure should be. Everytime i go in she always making fresh coffee making sure the place is spotless and that the shelves are full. The 2 ladies working at noon are the most rude employees that I have ever deal with at any Cumberland farms location, using the F word constantly, and talking bad about other customer and how much they hate their F job, so sad to see people that angry, I hope they can find a place to work where they didn't feel that bad and they can provide a better customer service.. read more

Don't go to this store to redeem any of the rewards you earn from their gas app. Don't try it on a Sunday afternoon like I tried yesterday. First the young clerk was higher than a 747 flying to Florida . He kept telling me I needed a coupon when it clearly said I just needed to buy a Pepsi product to redeem a snack. Was one of the only places I went to in town until I used their ATM which has a credit card skimmer or did, 9/14-9/26,. Yes FRAUD. This ATM isn't Citzens btw, and after "it" took the $ out of my account from the withdrawal I was trying to make (which, being no cash appeared, ended up being a nonconsensual deposit and gateway into "CARDTRONICS" & Cumberland Farms) they charged over $5 extra for having the privilege of using the machine, taking my pin, being able to see my account balance & access my checking, it began hitting my bank account for: 4 "balance inquiries" (each $2.50) As well as random charges from GULF OIL & Cumberland Farms. Aside from the first, most charges were small but continuous and left me w/ $0.00!! I spoke to two ppl who work there and things became contentious w/the second woman who, if you're a woman who goes to this place a lot, you most likely know who she is. Aside from the atm i'm not sure the place can get your info, but I urge you, please do not use that ATM or any other "ATM" @ Cumberland Farms in New England. Did my research which took all of 5 min,& saw this is rampant in Mass & Conn. This has been going on awhile & seems these things are all over the place, and my bank did not contact the police so for all I know it's still there. BC of this experience I haven't gone there since the day it happened. They lost a good customer & are part of a fraud/ID theft scheme that will cost them, and unfortunately us, a lot more. read more

The recent renovation has not only led to the best gas prices in Lexington (in competition with Mobil across the street) but the convenience store addition is absolutely superb. The prices for coffee, muffins, lunches are more than competitive (any size coffee $1) and the service is terrific. The store is clean and the food products are refreshed on an ongoing basis. Me and my family passed here to get some gas and something to drink and eat. It was about 1pm and not busy at all. We got inside and there was two employees in the front, there was one lady and one guy. One of the persons that was with me ordered a small individual pizza from the lady and after I order three more pizzas for the rest of us but right when I told her if she could make me the other pizzas she had a very bad attitude like she didn't like that I was ordering this. After I finished ordering, the other guy that was there said something to her under his breath about me making this order. I ignored it and went to get a drink. After the pizzas were done she left the pizzas at the cash register and when I saw them they were totally over cooked! There was two pizzas that when I saw them they looked so burned!! When we said something to the cashier about the fact that these pizzas were really burned he said " what ? you don't want them? you going to return it?" And as he was about to say you can't return it , I said to him to forget about it because I thought it was just burned from the top. We payed for the things but as soon as I grabbed one of the pizzas it was rock hard and in the bottom of it, it was all black so I went up to the cashier and told him that the pizzas were not eatable and that they were so burned and if they could make me another one but he gave me sass so I just told him to give me my money back. This was really bad customer service!! And the employees seem like they don't like getting orders from people !!
