Busen's did a nice job of replacing the motherboard on my refrigerator. These refrigerators are disposable these days and it's nice to have someone you can trust on your side to make sure you can extend the life of it. read more

Terrible, terrible service. They don't deserve any stars. Out three times to fix an appliance, each time making it worse then what they were called for in the first place. Never fixed by them, had to call out another service. Twice when repair person left, with in twenty minutes or less, called them back saying it was doing the same thing. We initially purchased an Amanda refrigerator (exact duplicate purchased 16 yrs ago) at Home Depot and was told it would be delivered 3 days later. It was for our parents who are 99 & 95 and their fridge had been slowly failing for weeks. Unfortunately we got a call from HD the next day saying it couldn't be delivered as promised - not until 1.5 weeks later. Not acceptable! We turned to Busen's hoping for better service. We were not disappointed. Even though there was a 1 day delay (we received a call that was very sincere and understood our situation), we now have a perfectly working fridge that was expertly installed. I had Busens come out to service my Kenmore dishwasher. Giving a 1E error code. The technician that arrived was friendly and I had no real issues with him other than my dishwasher still isn't fixed. I have wasted three Saturdays now trying to get my dishwasher fixed. He did replace the control board the flow valve and the flow sensor on the side and nothing fixed it that he did. what is very upsetting is he gave up and told me to call Kenmore direct and have a specialist come out and I don't believe I should've had to pay a service call when my dishwasher was not fixed. That's like taking your vehicle to a garage to have it fixed they tell you take take it somewhere else and still charge you!!! And I think it's pretty sad that they are a repair center and tell me to call somewhere else!!! After dealing with them I am being told that I would not recommend anyone else to call there or use their services. It is also my understanding they do a lot of DTE service work and they deal with that DTE warranty that you pay extra for. I would warn people do not get that service plan because Busens is quite often sent out for those and due to poor diagnostics and not knowing you could be told your appliance needs to be replaced and DTE does not pay the whole cost of the appliance and you could be spending extra out of pocket for a new appliance with what DTE also gives you and it may not be needed!!! read more

Worst customer service experience I ever had in my life, It took the service repairman 4 house calls to figure the problem with my dishwasher.....The original problem with my dishwasher was fixed but the end results was that I ended up re-installing my dishwasher by myself and now I have a new water leakage problem... I had the repair svc out on 11/28/11 & they replaced the ignitor on my 3 yr old stove . I used the oven exactly 3 times when it started to go out again just a few weeks later. I called them & they told me the ignitor was only under warranty for 30 days . I said it must have been "faulty" since I had only used the oven 3 x's in the last 2 months, they said --they could send out a repairman again , but I would still have to pay the service charge & for a new ignitor --they never addressed the fact that it could have been a faulty part to begin with . I am retired & can't afford to pay another $179 to get it fixed ; but they didn't care or offer to work with me .Never again will I use their service & i will be complaining to every consumer agency about their unethical practice. read more

We where set up with busen's through our home warranty to have a dishwasher fixed. They where quick to diagnose and we where told that they would be back a week later after the part arrived. That's the last good interaction we had. A week went by and we never heard a thing about when our dishwasher would be fixed so I called in. They told me the part was on back order which sucks but that's life. My problem is that I asked them to keep us informed has we had not been made aware of this. Another 2 weeks go by and still nothing. We called our home warranty people and they gave us a tracking number for the part which let us know it would arrive to busens the next day. We called busens the day after it arrived and they denied that they had the part. A whole week goes by and we are finally contacted to set up an appointment. At this point I was pissed! The manager made excuses about misplacing the part which is pathetic. He then said they could get it in that day which never happened and then when I called they denied they said it would be done that day. There is no organization or care for customers. If anything the tech I talked to deserves a raise for being so helpful. But don't think for one second that the manager or company will take care of you or get a repair done in a timely manor. read more

Terrible customer service!! A repair man from Busens came to my house and he could not have been more unpleasant. He put in an order for a part to fix my washer then shows up 4 days later with the wrong part. He told my husband and I that his manager made a deal with DTE to fix my washing machine against his recommendation and didnt care about the part being wrong; just wanting to get it off the shelf. What business would want to knowingly take advantage of their customers like that?? After speaking to the manager at Busens he was just as rude. Please take your business elsewhere. read more
