We've moved *a lot* in the last 3 years and every time I'd make an appointment, it would be 6+ months out, and we'd move again before the appointment took place. I was nervous they were going to shame me, but quite the opposite! They said not to worry and put my mind at ease. Morgan and Christina were our hygienists and they were SO sweet. They talked so well with my kids, educating them, letting them touch the instruments so they wouldn't be afraid. The dentist was just as kind. My kids left with a bag of goodies each (a cartoon toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, stickers, a ball, jingle bells, etc). My kids have been carrying around their treasures all day. Approximately 30 seconds elapsed between completion of the lidocaine injection and the start of his drilling on that tooth. He didn't even stop to check if she was numb, just finished the injection, put the bit in the drill, and went to town. She screamed at the top of her lungs in the highest pitch she could manage (did I mention she is only 4 years old?) and he never batted an eyelash. Never spoke to her except to give her instructions ("open wide", "Don't spit that bite block out"). Our vet treats dogs better than this dentist treated my daughter. Please don't take your children here. Please please please.

The last couple appointments were anything but warm feels. It's definitely all about numbers and we don't even see the same people anymore, including doctor. Everyone barely speaks to you now, and they have attitude when they do, especially if you don't do exactly what they want you to. They also do not offer self pay discount and are very pricey. But the last straw was our last appointment, recently. They say my son has several cavities they want to fix (on baby teeth), they had complete attitudes when I discussed with them our plan for OUR children. And then I find out a filling they did previously (no more than 12-18 months ago), has fallen out and they will do nothing about it. They skipped over that info very quickly, yet want to fill 4 other teeth. Needless to say, we no longer recommend this practice. We will find someone that really cares about our children and not just another number, or money in the bank.

It's help that Dr. Hopkins is very knowledgeable and experienced. She answered all my concerns and put me at ease through out the process. Strongly recommended.
