I would agree with other ratings in this area. This is a unique junction and as such this nice little stop is fun. Around this hotel in particular it is primarily only fast food. HOWEVER, check out just a short jaunt down the road and you have this amazing place called The Grille and a great coffee stand for the morning before rolling out of town. We were originally going to stay at a more commonly known place that also had good reviews, but they were full. I came to yelp and found this place. It is an older building so don't expect a suite. However, it has a nice western theme to it. The hospitality is great! Front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room itself, a king sized pet friendly room, had perfect and CLEAN floors and was large! There were TWO arm chairs in the room and a comfy bed. Fridge, microwaves... pretty much what you need. The vanity area was pretty small thats why I took a picture but it worked. Shower and toilet room were kinda small as well but they did the trick. I wasn't expecting a spa and it was not, but it was extremely comfortable. They serve breakfast in the morning but I didn't experience it we needed to head out. Check this out if you are in the area. Clean older hotel. Dog run BUT it was full of dried up dog crap. My husband and I picked it all up but could not believe how dog owners don't pick up!!! We could have used a shovel! The hotel itself was clean. Breakfast was basic but good. Ver well priced. read more

This is a super nice little hotel. The room was surprisingly big and the bed was super comfy. The room comes with a mini fridge and microwave! Breakfast was offered in the morning. Simple single packs of cereal, oatmeal and muffins; coffee and tea. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed everything. read more

Rooms are dated, ours was musty, the AC unit didn't work. Its an older property, primarily used by truckers. The complimentary breakfast is marginal, even for cheap motels. We survived the night, hopefully a bit wiser. Unless you are absolutely desperate, whichever direction you're traveling it is best to keep moving rather than stay here. read more

Came in on a Saturday over Memorial Day weekend and not only did we get a room, but one next to our friends. We were all in town for a wedding. Staff was friendly. Seems to be family run. Rooms were very clean and orderly. Cute personal touches that you won't find at chain hotels. They don't have an ironing board in the room, but they will let you use the one they have. Nice hot coffee and biscuits in the morning! My biggest pet peeve with hotels is they make the walls so dang thin. This place was old school. Actual walls. We heard nothing from anyone else on our hall, not even from next door. No flushing, no talking, no TV sounds, etc. It was so quiet. read more

Stopped here unexpectedly. June 6, 2019 went into the lobby to check if there was a room, the clerk was friendly, informative and provided excellent service. We got checked in quickly and there was cookies and water in the lobby. Our room was very clean and the bedding and carpet looked newer. We were very pleased with our accommodations. read more

Only bad part is there is ZERO green space, but it was clean, and no bugs and good price and takes dogs - was not enough pillows but a call fixed that and sheets were nice, fridge and microwave and tv on wall, had 2 recliners in a non pet room and that was nice after a long travel day, those are not in the pet rooms, gas right next door and across road from MCD. Hidden gem!! Customer service at its finest, and the hotel it cute to boot. Super clean, friendly helpful staff & breakfast was simple but nice. All you need. On the road deciding on our next stop, I called ahead to ask about the amenities in the King room ( mainly if the arm chairs were recliners, for sleeping with an injury purposes) and the lovely lady who answered was not sure. She took my number & went to look , texted me they were and we stayed one night. Finally after 2 nights on a flat bed in other hotels I got a great nights rest. Was told there were fresh baked cookies & to help ourselves but after unloadong car & getting stuff in room the large party behind us wiped them out. That lovely lady ( wish I got her name) went & baked more then let us know when they were ready to ensure my huddy , daughter & I got some while they were still warm. Again, room & hotel was super clean, fresh baked cookies & wonderful customer service. There is food & gas right next door also. Will definitely stay here again. read more

There is quite a bit of Western décor and homey sayings on signs in the lobby. Friendly, efficient check in. (The clerk had trouble reading the teeny print on my CO license which was validation of my opinion of the ridiculously small print.) The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked great. The bed was firm and comfortable. The pillows were like bricks. The sink, vanity and mirror were located just outside of the bathroom which seemed a bit odd, but worked perfectly fine. There were two dispensers in the shower: one was for shampoo and the other a body wash. Both of them were nice smelling and I loved that this method would produce less waste than the usual little soap bars and shampoo bottles. (There was a dispenser of hand soap near the sink as well.) The breakfast was fairly standard, but the biscuits and gravy were a fun, country-type option. I LOVED the raisin bread. It was sooooo good! I appreciated not having to take time to go to a restaurant. The price for one night was a bit higher than I'd hoped to pay, but my stay was near the July 4th holiday. I apologize for the rambling nature of this review, but the bottom line is that this motel is a very good place to stay. read more

We came in at 9:30 pm and were very happy with this motel. It's older but obviously updated, smelled fine (my main criteria ), very clean, 2 nice recliners, a decent reading lamp and a good mattress. The accommodations here were awesome: extremely clean, cozy & quiet. We came with our 2 dogs & they put us in a room with hardwood floors (easier for them to clean yay!) and doggie bowls, and our parents in a carpeted room. The breakfast offered biscuits & gravy, cereal, coffee, boiled eggs, etc. with a very country, down-home feel. Recommended!!! read more

On the plus side: the rooms were large and clean, and the staff friendly. Other reviews report a Western theme, but if it's there, it went right by me. Negatives: my primary complaint was that it was way overpriced for what it offered. I paid over $200 per room. The furniture was outdated, and there is no carpet in the bedroom part of the room. The breakfast has clearly deteriorated since it was reviewed in the past. The breakfast area was squeezed into a small room and the only tables for eating were outside. (Not good when it's raining, which it was.) Breakfast choices are very limited: waffles and cereal. Only regular coffee, no decaf. No fruit, eggs or breakfast meats, only white sliced bread. There was a waffle maker, but when someone tried to make a waffle, one of the workers insisted that she make it, and there was a large tip jar on the narrow counter space. All this would be acceptable if the cost was lower. read more

Traveling between duty stations and decided to stop in this little town. The local branch of a national chain wouldn't honor the government rate and wanted $50 more then Western. A nice find traveling and trying to find a place north of SLC to escape the morning traffic. I do like these old school places and this was avg / typical of what I find. Dated but clean western theme. Certainly no frills but none of these 50's ? motels do. Given what it is it met my expectations. I honestly don't know why but my wife and I did not get a good night sleep and we heard others in the breakfast room saying the same thing. It's great for a night and I appreciate the family ownership. I wouldn't go out of my way but I would stay again if in the same boat. read more

We stayed here for a night and boy I was impressed. First, the lobby is decorated with nice western decors and very inviting. The room is bigger than most hotel rooms we've ever been to. It's simple yet clean. And they have a nice little breakfast area that serves biscuit and gravy which is good. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. read more

Super friendly staff, cute lobby decor, decent breakfast and coffee, but the room and upstairs hallway was stuffy and smelled of smoke. I understand that they recently remodeled and transitioned to be non-smoking, but it still lingers very strongly.
