I got them home and when I went to bite into what is usually a soft candy, I was surprised to find that the candy was old and very hard. If I wanted jaw breakers, I would have looked for those. I know that businesses like to make as much money as possible, but selling old, stale candy, is NOT the way to build a customer base. This business shares space with beauty spa "Sweet & Sassy" and I should have realized that this place was not doing well when I saw a sign on their locked door, saying to go to Sweet & Sassy, to get someone to open the door to the candy store. Nonetheless the strawberries were delicious and I enjoyed them. Imagine my surprise when one week later on my birthday another box of strawberries was delivered by a very nice gentleman who apologized for the mix up. Neither my son nor I had called them to complain, they simply noticed the error in dates and arrived at my doorstep with another box.
