Don't plan your day around going to B&P. The last 2 times we were there there was a sign on the door that said Taking a moment , be back in 45 minutes. Yesterday, which was a Saturday at 2:15m, after paying for parking, there was the sign! , Can't believe in the middle of a weekend the store would be closed. Another couple was there as well, Lost business for B&P. Also when we have been able to get in, the sales gals were terrible, God forbid they asked if we needed anything and when we did talk to them they said, order on line, and went back to whatever it was that was more important than helping the customer. Nika assisted me over the phone with placing my order and went above and beyond to help me coordinate collar combinations, even sending photos and offering wonderful suggestions. Be prepared to have zero service whatsoever. If you ask for a price on their merchandise, since they have no price tags on them. They will tell you to wait until they are done helping a long line of customers. Also, keep in mind they have one single person working on a busy Sat in the entire store which is also a huge security risk given the age of the young gal working there. just shocking to say the least. Everyone in town seems very hospitable and eager to help you with prices on their merchandise. This is the polar opposite. Also, The people are so rude they just cut in front of you anyway and the one young person working in the entire store working doesn't seem to care and helps whatever rude person cuts in front you. read more

I called the store with no answer but I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call back within a few minutes. The service is fantastic! This place is the best hidden gem in laguna beach and maybe not so hidden now with their new beautiful sign out front! You will see the umbrellas from the road and since this designer has such a following people most likely stop in from all over. I am lucky to be just a 30 minute drive away. I love their umbrellas and beach chairs and just everything, this luxury outdoor accessory shop is a must visit if you are styling your pool, outdoor area or even a restaurant! The employees are so nice especially Will who helped me yesterday, he exceeded my expectations and was the best salesman! He helped me make a final decision on what pattern sling back chair I should get (it's tough, I want them all) and he answered all my questions and even brought me outside to show me examples of what he was telling me about on the furniture that is outdoors for display. This store is so unique and you'll just want to bring home everything in it!! Everything is so well made and customer service is always there when you need them.
