Silver & Brown is definitely the "go to" law firm if you are a policyholder having trouble with your insurance company. I have tried cases in which Silver & Brown and I were on the same side and I have tried cases in which we were on opposite sides. I can tell you I would prefer to be with them than against them. Knowledgeable and ethically aggressive. Unlike many firms whom advertise themselves as insurance coverage attorneys, this firm actually tries cases.

It is difficult to write a fair and comprehensive review of Tom Brown and his law firm, mostly…read morebecause he and the entire firm are so totally different from lawyer stereotypes, and also from almost all of my prior experiences with other lawyers - in all the best ways. From our very first meeting with Mr Brown, he presented a sense of calm compassion; and was not only helpful from a legal perspective, but also gave my wife and I a stable emotional focus whenever things seemed frightening, hopeless, and upsetting. During that first meeting, Tom Brown gave us a clear understanding of the difficulties of succeeding with a case such as ours, and an accurate perspective regarding the relevant risks. In addition, rather than enlist us as clients immediately, he agreed to advise us as we worked with a third party, independent adjuster (someone who also proved to be a consummate expert - who helped us through our 3-year ordeal. When this adjuster felt the time was right, Mr Brown then began taking action. This process turned out to be exactly the right way to handle things and is the only reason we did not 'lose our shirts'. Bottom line - Tom Brown, and the entire team at Silver and Brown, are worth their weight in gold! They are wonderful people who care about their clients and do everything in their power to render the best possible assistance. We were thoroughly satisfied with the results.

Mr. Avery not only helped me out once but twice with two different traffic tickets and a car accident. He was successful in talking to both officers and bring down the original charge. For my car accident he pursued it aggressively. Once you contact the law firm and let them know what's happened they take care of you and give you a sense of comfort and hospitality. They'll kindly ask for a limited number of documentation just to make sure Mr. Avery is fully prepared for any curve balls the judge might ask or give in the court hearing. He'll meet you at court and give you the sense of comfort, knowing everything will be alright. For the car accident; They'll make sure that you're okay first and they'll ask you to step into their office for a couple questions that pertain to the accident. They'll write down your account of the incident and take over the case from that very moment. They will contact the insurance company on your behalf and if you need any kind of injury related treatment. They will suggest several practices around town to help you feel better. You'll have updates of the case periodically, informing you of the case and in which direction it's heading. After a bit of time Mr. Avery and the insurance company will have reached an agreement that will greatly satisfy you. Mr. Avery is an extremely nice lawyer, if not the nicest one in Fairfax. If you're looking for someone to handle your case with the utmost professionalism and integrity while at the same time cares for how you're doing and still actively pursuing your case to get resolved he's the one you wanna go with.

Michael was easy going and clear in his assessment of the case and before forward he assured me that this was something we could win. I pretty much sat back after giving him the information and he worked magic. A case i was once told was unwinnable was now being handled with ease, eventually resulting in me getting paid. I would recommend Michael Avery to all of my family and friends, he couldn't have made it an easier process honestly.

First off, I want to apologize. Mr. Yoon as I could've sworn I submitted a Yelp Review after he…read moretook on my personal affairs. Mr. Yoon saw me from a million miles away as I entered the courtroom and nervously waited for my time to present my appeal and request for work/medical license due to legal ramifications I had placed myself in due to my negligent abuse of alcohol which when coupled with my untreated alcoholism led my DUI and to my criminal conviction and revocation of my rights to operate a motor vehicle until my sentence, probationary fees, and other legal fees were accounted for. Mr. Yoon approached me in the courthouse in 2015-2016, apologies for the gap in time as the specific date alludes me, as our greatest enemy is time, but I digress. Mr. Yoon identified that I was walking into a metaphorical minefield as it was extremely obvious that I was out of my depth when I walked in. He briefly asked me about my situation I was in and represented me and assisted me with my appeal in my case. He requested that I submit a Yelp Review, I could've sworn I already wrote one, but I have found myself in a moment of retrospection, reminiscing about how noble and just his shear presence was and how comforting he was during my state of vulnerability. I regret that the DUI happened at all in the first place and that I lost the career that I loved so much. But I am thankful that no one was hurt or killed as a result of my stupidty as I firmly know I would not be able to live with myself if I caused undue harm or death to my fellow american(s) or human being. I found myself yearning to address this once more to hopefully mentor someone that may be going through a bad time in their life that it is OK to reach out for support as there are many other people out there amongst us that have fallen into war with themselves and their past, present, and the fear and uncertainty that the future holds for us. But if we arm ourselves with knowledge and build each other up rather than tear each other down as Mr. Yoon exemplifies by his character and willingness to help those that lack proper representation. In my closing statements, I hope to leave these breadcrumbs to help other lost souls and pay it forward, because without a person like Mr. Yoon, I would not be the man I am today. Sometimes we can't see the forest for all the trees. - John Heywood Everyday is a new day, and although we in our life may face bad days, remember that we have resources available to us and that sometimes it's our mindset that causes these feelings of incompetency that misguide us and only harm us further.
