For me, my haircut time is a time where I can relax for a few minutes. What I appreciate from the staff here is their ability to "read the room" and know after a minute or two of small talk, they recognize I'm not much of a talker and not try to force conversation on me. This was my first appointment with Dev and at that establishment. I brought in a picture, showed her exactly what I wanted, and told her I was nervous. She looked at the picture and said she could do it. That was not true. What I left with looks nothing like what I asked for. It is poorly done, uneven, and completely unflattering. At this point, shaving my head feels like a better option than trying to work with what she did. I will be wearing a ball cap and wigs for the next few weeks just to feel presentable, because right now my hair looks terrible. The barbershop is called Midtown classic cuts but for those that have been around a while you may remember it as Crumps Barbershop. My haircut is consistently done exactly as I like it and at a very reasonable price. I almost hate to leave a good review for fear that the place will become so popular that I'll have to make a reservation months in advance. But all kidding aside this is your best bet if you're looking for a barbershop versus a beauty salon. Trust me you will not regret coming to this barber. As others have stated it is cash only so make sure you stop by Publix on the way in to get a Pub sub and some cash from their ATM on your way to the barber.
