If you try to call from another phone like a landline, their number is busy - but it also offers to charge you $2.00 to possibly connect you within the hour. We have been using Pine Straw King for 3 years. In the past, we would have the pine straw delivered to our driveway. The most recent time, we paid for it to be delivered and installed. They did an excellent job spreading the pine straw, top notch, clean, and evenly spread. Well worth it! read more

I got a quote to mulch my yard from my yard guy and was floored at the price. I priced out 100 bags delivered from Home Depot and then I called PSK. In the end I only spent $556 to have installed the amount that would have cost me around $500 delivered from Home Depot. Great job and price! Will definitely use again. read more

Went in and ordered 30 bales of pine straw for our home on a Friday morning and they were being delivered by noon the same day when the expected arrival was next business day. The delivery truck driver was kind and asked me where I would like them placed for my husband and I to easily access. He quickly unloaded and provided me receipt before he was on his way. I used PSK countless times the past 3 years. Also recommended them to several friends. NEVER AGAIN! Anytime I called, the person I talked to was not friendly what so ever! While I did not appreciate it I tolerated it since they are close to my home. The final drop was yesterday though. I called to confirm they have black mulch. My work kept me busy so I only was able to get there between 4-5pm. Since it was late I called again but they did not pick up the phone. I checked on the website the opening hours. The website shows 5pm! I got there at 4:40 pm with a Home Depot truck to realize they closed at 4:30pm. In the window a sign saying "summer hours 4:30pm". An other customer got there 3 minutes after me as well. Both of us could have gone some other place who are actually open until 5pm. But this way we both were late to anywhere else. I had to refill and take the HD truck back without using it. Cost me $30 and wasted my time as well. This is not reliable and is bad customer service! He could tell me when I called the first time they will not stay open as advertised! NEVER AGAIN will I purchase anything by PSK! read more

We used them 2 years ago to install mulch & called them back again because of the excellent service. They did it again. The installers were like artists making sure that the edges clean. They even cleaned out the old mulch that had fallen on my gravel path. It looked like a professional garden when they were done. We'll call again when it is time to mulch. read more

These guys were excellent I called on a Friday Midday asking for a Saturday delivery. When I got home Friday the pine straw was neatly stacked on the side on my yard. I was given two options for product and was told the slightly more expensive was much superior. Ryan was correct and the 50 bails I ordered covered what 75 had in the past. The other half and I went there on the way to get something to eat. Never been there but have driven by plenty of times. I have never bought a live tree before and I was being a true kid at heart, I'm sure I was entertaining the employees as well. The prices were fair, according to the other half. They had a great selection and beautiful trees. Once we picked out the perfect one, asked us if we had a tree stand, nope, so he explianed the differences, and we got what we needed. Got to the truck and the other guy had the tree in the truck and was finishing tieing it down. Before I got in the truck, the guys told us to have fun decorating. Now that the tree is up and decorated I couldn't be happier. read more

I have used this company for several years with great satisfaction....however, last week ..... a very different story. I was released from the hospital on Monday... my neighbors son volunteered to put down mulch for me... while he was on spring break, so, On Wednesday, April 10th I went to Pinestraw king to pick up some pine straw, as I had been there many times. I ask the worker in the office, how many pine bales my car could carry, as this was a new car and I had no idea. He asked if I wanted slash or the long needled and I replied I would take the regular. He instructed me to drive to the back and someone would load it for me, and I could come back and pay. So I drove back and a fellow in the truck waved for me to come and l complied, and he proceeded to load my car with 14 bales. I gave him a $2.00 tip.... I went back up to the office to pay, and the worker behind the counter was on the phone, and I kept waiting and waiting for him to assist me, especially since I was not feeling well... then another employee came in and announced they had put the long needled bales in my car. the other worker still on the phone... for awhile... finally instructed me to go back and they would exchange the bales for me. I suggested he give it to me at the same price and he replied... why should I do that? I replied that there was no sign back there, and I was waved to the wrong truck... so it wasn't my error. He advised me to drive back there and they would exchange them for me. ( I might add rudely) I went out started my car, but then decided I would go back in and pay for the long needled bales anyway... so I went back in to pay... and he again was on the phone... and seemed not to even acknowledge I was there....I said finally, Since time was of the essence... I would go ahead and pay.......He rudely... stated he was not going to sell them to me... hurriedly went out the door to my car, and angrily opened my truck and quickly slung each bale out onto the ground... He said for me not to come back there again EVER! I have not idea who he was angry with but I was certainly the target.... I said to him.... remember everything you give out to others comes back to you doubled!!! I left and went over to Kelly Green and got my 14 bales... when they started to load them.... we saw that whoever closed my trunk purposely pulled the heavy netting out of the truck so it would drag on the street as I drove. This was no way to treat anyone... expecially a returning customer!!!! read more

I ordered and had delivered 65 bails of long needle pine straw. Upon arrival home from the daycare and without an advance notice of delivery, the pine straw was delivered. It was a windy day and several 2 to 3 (unsure of how many) were just piles up and blown around. I immediately called pine straw kings office and the gentleman was indeed rude and stated that is how they operate, if a bale breaks they just leave it and it is counted as one of your pine straws. While I was trying to move the bails, it appears very few were tied tight and the straw seemed mixed with old straw with new straw. $350.00worth the pine straw and it looks old! Beware of these guys, not professional at all. I will not shop with them ever again! read more

Hubby and I did some landscaping and we needed some pine straw, gravel and black mulch, Called and placed order and requested delivery. Was told they were backed up and delivery would be about week and a half. Surprise they called three days later said they had a break in deliveries and could come now--we said YES! We got the long needle which is much nice and does spread more area than short. Really good product. Only problem we didn't order enough and had them out two more times with deliver.
