Just had my locks replaced today after moving into our new (to us, but we're 3rd owner) house. Had called another locksmith with excellent Yelp reviews in the Corona area that came out yesterday and quoted me $520 for the job of 11 locks - ouch! And he was kind of surly to me as he was leaving after I told him that was too much. That's a lot of money for an hour's job where it was just a rekey of the existing locks with no new hardware. So glad I sent that guy on his way and hubby called around a bit more. Busy B's came out and did the whole job for 15 locks (I forgot a few locks in another part of the house yesterday) for way LESS THAN HALF that yesterday guy's price. They arrived early for their appointment today (and we just called yesterday), worked quickly, and were friendly and professional the whole time. Done in less than an hour. Even threw in four keys for us at no extra charge. Now that's the kind of home service call that I feel good about! A fair price, for a skill that is better paid than DIY, and friendly work. First, I like the fact that he has the business stability to afford a brick-and-mortar store coupled with the security that he is a licensed California locksmith. I called John in the morning to re-key about 14 locks at my new home. He picked up the phone immediately and was able to come to my house the same day. He arrived with his associate, Andrew. I was wonderfully surprised by how fast service was tonight. I was able to be seated and had drinks and bread to start off when we first began. I was greeted by Britney with a warm loving smile which made me feel like I was able to set my mind at ease and not worry about how my food was coming out. On top of that if you came out exactly as ordered it was so on point I thought I was paying more than I ended up having to.
