When we asked what was good we were told just the plain burger. They seemed very disinterested in having us inside waiting. Like we were disturbing them from checking their YouTube videos. There were some chips on the floor and the place could have done with a wipe down. If it was my business and my staff were this lack luster they would be seeking new employment . Burger was soggy from so much sauce. I probably should have taken the advise and got a plain burger. On the plus side the burger and bun were well cooked. It was better than a Macdonald's burger but can't say I would come back when there are so many options in Cambridge.

Ordered medium rare and as any one knows it should be bleeding, and it was!. Good job. Preferred slaw to fries and it did not disappoint, red crunchy slight tang and not sweet, awesome. Cucumbers had a good pickle to them, bacon could have been more present and the burger sauce should be slathered, other than that a fine experience getting a great burger so far away from the US. But those infractions will cost the 5 stars I'm sure this place is capable of. The old days of bland overdone burgers outside the US are over, the clown will return to Honest Burger!

I double checked with the onion rings, she mentioned how they were made in the same area/space as dairy products, but I thought that would still be alright so I ordered them. Waited a long time (15 min?) considering it was around 3pm and the restaurant only semi busy. When I actually got my meal, another server let me know that the onion ring batter actually contains dairy. As a result, I wasn't able to try them, and they were nice enough to let me chose between two sides that didn't contain dairy -- both salad-esque. From the people I ate with, it seemed that the onion rings were generally pretty average. The avocado bacon burger was pretty good, however the bacon was a bit different than the usually crispy American bacon I'm use to. Wish there could have been a bit more avocado as well. For £9.85 a burger, it seems relatively pricey and I probably wouldn't go back due to the slow service and issue with the dairy products
Don burger at the front, cheese and bacon at the back, delicious!

My friends and I enjoyed 4 rounds of whisky, beer, cider and house specialty drinks in the alley / designated smoking area. Inside on a Friday night, there wasn't a seat available. We braved the cold and drizzle for 2 hours. When the place started clearing out, we sat in a hall with stools and a counter. Seating area around the bar is all low top tables. Loud but worth the atmosphere. Great energy. 3 different bartenders helped us. All professional, patient and kind. Noticed the 2nd floor was for dinning. And if you need to work off food or drink, the restrooms are on the third floor. Clean, well stocked and charming decor. Memorable visit for a one night stay in Cambridge. (American in England)
Being in London, I've been excited to see the hype on the vegan burgers made here…read more Just off the bat, service was kind and very accommodating to my needs. They checked on me often to ensure I was enjoying my meal. The shop inside is very clean and doesn't feel congested. Now, to the food. I went with a Vegan Chicken Burger, and it was by far my favorite dish from the restaurant. It was juicy, had a perfect amount of sauce and was warm enough where I didn't need to wait for it to cool down. The onion rings were the next favorite. They were a bit overly greasy but not to the point where it interrupted my meal. The cheesy bites were my least favorite. Just not what I was expecting. NOW that doesn't mean they tasted bad. Just not for my taste is all. More creamy inside than solid cheese. The Oreo shake was something I spotted on the menu with a popular rating, so I gave it a try and I'm so happy I did! It was served in a large portion cup and was filled to the top. It was super creamy and I ended up finishing the whole cup. All in all, great service and good food. Now would I come here again? Why not, but I have a better understanding of what I'm looking for now. If you're in town, I recommend the burgers and smoothies!

Located in downtown Cambridge close to the Corn Exchange, this Five Guys was just what we wanted…read morewhich is to say we were craving a delicious American-style burger. They delivered! It was super busy and perhaps during those busy times it's best not to look at where the food was being made. The fry stations were looking pretty gnarly. Tribes of old fries languishing on every conceivable surface. A worker spilled cooking oil and didn't have time to clean it up (a serious accident waiting to happen). All the employees were wearing gloves so that was nice but it just seemed like they were desperately trying treading water and as a result, the food prep area was dirty (which had I glanced before paying for my order, I would have opted to go somewhere else). There were two workers and a manager so perhaps they were short a person? Toilets were reasonably clean for how busy it was w our burgers tasted yum!
