By that I mean, when you walk in the door, they either "like" you or they don't. If they don't. You need to leave. LEAVE! Take a gander at the gaudy rings. Maybe he doesn't know how to buy diamonds? They quickly got us in and diagnosed the issue as a bad alternator. Two hours later and with a very fair price paid, we were back on the road! Please note this was on a busy Friday afternoon, and Larry recognized how stressful the situation was for all of us, so he went above and beyond to take care of us, when he easily could have pushed us down the line, making us get a rental car and costing hundreds of dollars more. He took it by to be fixed and was then told that it would be $250 because it was worse than what he originally thought. My husband ordered the parts himself for $37 and installed them but the door wouldn't line up properly because we don't have a shop or the equipment and experience to do it right. So, while my husband was at work, I took the truck back to have them align the door, I was standing there looking at the truck with them and was told that the door frame was completely rusted out and would have to be removed, welded, reattached and wasn't given a estimate because the work would be extensive and take a full day if not longer. The truck has no rust at all, absolutely none, I realized these people were not only liars but were utterly unprofessional and the worst kind of crooked business owners. There's no telling how many people don't know better and just pay what they ask for, this is sad and it's disgusting to do this to people and take advantage of them. I took the truck to H and H yesterday right at closing so they could work on it today, at 9:11 this morning they texted me saying the truck was done, everything is perfect and it will be $20. They tell you they don't have a margin to be able to offer more based off "their business" model. They suggest hey we are a certified CARMX certified trade company or something like that. Send in the vin an miles and pics and they will give you a price which is usually more than our. We can use that amount as a trade and CARMAX will come pick the car up and sale it because we can't make a better profit. They already know what CARMAX offer will be and come in lower in order to insinuate CARMAX offers more because they make their profits on the finance side rather than the sale side. We guess what, they didn't sell the vehicle (little blue SUV on their lot) to CARMAX as they said they were because there is not profit in it. They chose to keep it and list it for more than $8K more lol. They lied about this on the front end and the back end in order to get you thinking they were not going to keep it to sell based off no profit to be made, then turn around and keep it to make $8k. No profit?, LOL.
