It was Sunday so options were limited and, I HAD to replace the tire. All SEEMED well when I left, there was a bit of a shimmy but, it was my first road trip in this vehicle so I didn't think much of it. Made it to Atlanta and parked the car for the two weeks I was there. I had a rental for work and parked next to my truck every night. On the way back, the truck started shaking badly. I pulled over on the highway thinking I had a flat. Nothing. Checked the suspension, all looked fine. Tried to go a little bit and the truck just shook. I had it towed to Pep Boys. As the mechanic was pulling it into the garage, another guy came running out, waving his arms, yelling. My wheel, the one THIS WALMART replaced, was ready to fall off. It had two sheared lug posts and the remaining lugs were very ready to go. The wheel had been improperly seated by WALMART I had to pay for the repair AND a hotel for the two days I had to spend waiting on a new wheel. My wheel was ruined, the holes were bored out, making it useless. Not to mention the HUGE SAFETY RISK this put me in. Pep Boys got me all fixed up and back on the road. When I stopped at this location to see about them reimbursing me for the repairs, replacement wheel and lost days, they offered me $350. About a third of my total out of pocket. I told them that was unacceptable and we filled out the claim paperwork. Their claims guy called, I explained what had happened and he said he'd look into it. I have a job. A pretty good job. I was not looking to rip them off, I don't need to. I wasn't doing a "slip and fall" wanting them to buy me a house. I got REMARKABLY BAD SERVICE THAT COULD HAVE(luckily it didn't) KILLED ME!! I wanted them to make it right. That is all. I didn't ask for ANYTHING. I would have settled for just my out of pocket but, the video showed the guy torquing the lugs so, NOTHING. They claim NO FAULT AND I AM OUT ALMOST $1200!?! Needless to say, I am in the process of suing them now. If you mess up to the degree they did, SOMEBODY has to make it right. Especially when all that is being asked is what it cost me to repair YOUR BAD SERVICE!!

Even though you do have to deposit a quarter for a cart here a lot of times people and do the good pay it forward move and leave a cart free for you to use hoping that you will do the right thing and pay it forward in the future. yes the selections can be small and you will not find a bunch of the brands that used to seeing at some of the big box stores but the money you save shopping at this location will more than make up for the lack of brands this place is perfect if you are trying to pick out certain grocery items regardless of what brand they are I will continue to shop here and gratefully pay a quarter to use the card and I will definitely be happy to bag my own groceries here

There's nothing else in this little railroad town.... Just a couple [cool] rummage stores, a city hall, a post office, and now this grocery. I don't know if I'd call it a grocery, though. It's more like a mom & pop convenience shop. On the crowded shelves I noticed packaged foods, light bulbs, a freezer of drinks, confederate flags, doorknobs, kitchen trinkets, bandaids, and a whole assortment of the kind of stuff you'd find in a drugstore, but a much smaller selection of it. In the back are a couple tables and up front you can order pizza! They serve Hunt Brothers pizza, which seems popular at the local 'groceries'. You can call ahead and pick it up or order and wait while you're there. Although this store doesn't have everything, it is sooooo much more convenient to swing by here and pick up some milk or paper towels than having to drive out to Cynthiana or Georgetown. The selection of international foods was incredible. My husband and I found products that we hadn't seen since traveling abroad, which made the visit especially nostalgic and fun. It truly felt like taking a culinary trip around the world without leaving the store. One of the unique features is that adults can purchase a beverage from one of the small bars inside the market and enjoy it while browsing the aisles. Combined with the incredible variety of foods, snacks, spices, and specialty items, there was always something new to discover around every corner. We could have spent hours exploring and still not seen everything. We took a cross county trip last Saturday, and stopped here for a late lunch. We arrived about 1:00 pm., and still had to wait in line to order our food. All of the sandwiches are made to order, and have generous portions. Most of the patrons were wearing masks, and we tried to keep the 6 foot distance between us, but we couldn't always keep the correct distance due to the number of people inside. We also picked up a few grocery items, and some no sugar added milk chocolate peanut clusters that my hubby really enjoyed. They have a couple of shelves of no sugar added items, including a beverage mix, flavored gelatin, and various candy including fudge. We will definitely make a return trip here! Hubby and I sat outside on the covered porch to eat, and most of the crowd was gone by the time we finished. If I had waited to get my grocery items then, social distancing wouldn't have been a problem! On another note, they do accept credit cards, and power the grocery operation with solar panels.

They also have a version of "scan, bag, go" that is on their app, that is free. The scan, bag, go feature is really handy, if you need to keep tabs on your spending while in the store and it also gives you "bonus" coupons that are only available in the app with the "scam, bag, go" feature. The "scan, bag, go" feature also speeds up your check out, because it allows you to bag everything up at the self check out and scan the QR code at the register, which transfers, your entire shopping trip over to the register.
