If Jungle Jim doest have you probably don't need it! There…read moreis food from every country! There are candies and cookies and canned meats and fish, spices and sugars and so much more! There not 1 but 2 kitchen stores in it with most any tool you need to prepare your food! The cheese department is amazing! There was a little dark haired lady with glasses...didn't catch her name...but she is a cheese wizard! She found 2 obscure cheese for us on the shelves. There is a bar!! Yes a bar where you can get a beer or glass of wine! You can taste test wines before you buy! That is wonderful! And for you whiskey lover you can buy a shot of whiskey! The produce...fruits and veggies from all over the world! I actually found fresh prickly pears! Most everything is reasonably priced. If I lived near here I would need to build a large pantry onto my house! Lol...someone has a sense of humor for the restrooms! Thry were beautiful and clean inside! The cashiers were wonderful. A must visit place if you are in the Cincinnati area! Allow some time. We were there 4 hours and didn't see it all!

From 5 to 1…read more.. Jungle Jim's East has introduced us to countless foods and products that we likely never would have discovered otherwise. For many years, our weekly routine was to stop at Sam's Club for staples, then head straight to Jungle Jim's. We'd grab a beer, leisurely wander the aisles, pick up the rest of our grocery list, and almost always leave with a few unexpected treasures. Unfortunately, over the past several months we've noticed a steady decline in the overall shopping experience. Prices have increased noticeably, the quality and consistency of the produce department no longer seem to be what they once were, and many everyday grocery items have disappeared from the shelves. These aren't obscure products, but rather common items that many shoppers regularly purchase. After asking about the changes, a checkout clerk confirmed that Jungle Jim's is intentionally shifting away from being a traditional grocery store and focusing more heavily on its international market offerings. While we understand and respect that business decision, it no longer aligns with the reason we originally shopped there. What made Jungle Jim's special for us was the combination of unique international products and the ability to complete most of our regular grocery shopping in the same trip. As that balance has changed, we've found ourselves making additional stops elsewhere to find basic items, often at better prices. As a result, we've decided to move most of our grocery shopping back to Kroger. We'll still visit Jungle Jim's occasionally for specialty and international products, but sadly it is no longer our primary grocery destination. We sincerely hope management reconsiders the direction of the store, because we'd love to return to the Jungle Jim's experience that made us loyal customers for so many years.

I was intrigued by the blood orange olive oil & bought that. It was great used in making my homemade brownies - just a tablespoon added to the batter made the brownies scrumptious! And a find it truly was; the ONLY negative I can think of about this store is its location, tucked away in the excessive sprawl of a huge suburban shopping complex. I would never have known about it if a friend hadn't told me, and SO glad she did. Hopefully others will find it too thru Yelp. I am a snob for quality olive oils and balsamic, as there truly is a difference between brands and sources! Here in Ohio it's been either Jungle Jim or Country Fresh when in quest of the kind of quality I'd been accustomed to find easily in New York. The tremendous selection of oils, including a huge variety of those infused with natural flavorings, made Spicy Olive a heaven on earth for me. The balsamics, too, available in white or regular, have an array of flavorings I'd never dreamed of. Black Cherry! For a home made vinaigrette worthy of a five star restaurant. Dark Chocolate! I was astounded at how delicious were strawberries dipped in this stuff, not to mention the fat and calories avoided by dipping in chocolate balsamic instead of melted chocolate. Each variety (and there are SCORES .. Will try to count them on my next visit) has a cards with suggestions on pairings, general uses, and some basic recipes. As Kara said, the staff knows their stuff and will answer any and all questions. You can taste as many as you like and there is no hard sale pressure to buy. You won't need any though! Three sizes of bottles are available which are filled for you directly from the urns (There is a technical name for these containers, which escapes me at present). For high-quality, fresh imported product, the prices are definitely fair, certainly no more than I would expect to pay at one of the above-mentioned stores. If you are torn, they have a great option of six mini bottles for $30, mix and match vinegars and/or oils. For two bucks more you can have your choices gift boxed. (HINT HINT). We went with the six bottle sampler on our first visit as I simply could not decide. I've used at least one of them every day, in salads, sautéed vegetables, roasting, bread and fruit dipping, soup seasoning..... I can see a store like this downtown.... Or in Brooklyn. So thrilled to find this in West Chester! Put this one on your list, after you experience it you won't be buying your olio e balsamico anywhere else.
