A must visit. My husband and I love coming here to enjoy their delicious coffee. He absolutely loves the white chocolate raspberry and I love my caramel macchiato. Not a bad place. Was no one there when I went...had to peek my head in and ask if they were open because none of their signs were on. At first had no music then they put on some religious music...no thank you. A group came in and had a vibrant conversation about the bible. Their food is REALLY good...I got a mixed mediterranean salad that was huge; excellent price. It was very hot inside the place...ended up sitting outside where it was much cooler. I'll probably be back. This place is under new ownership; the owner let me know that they were waiting for the city to approve their entertainment license so they could have performers. I wish them great luck with their new adventure for sure. read more

Nice to see an independent coffee house in operation. I'm glad to know that Starbucks hasn't run all of them out of business. Stopped into butlers for a cup of joe this evening, I ordered the house roast and was very pleased. Both my girlfriend and daughter had the hot chocolate. It was some of the richest I've ever tasted. Their pastries and deserts looked enticing, and had I not just had a sizable dinner I might have tried one. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Great coffee shop! Good selection of drinks... AND they carry NUMI tea which makes me happy! Staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is cozy enough that I could actually sit for nearly five hours studying for an upcoming final. I don't normally have that kind of patience. Prices are very reasonable. I didn't order food, but many people did and it all smelled and looked delicious. And if you have kids - there's a wonderful little kiddie corner with toys and cute little kiddie chairs. Shame I don't live closer, I could easily become a regular. I'm not a fan of giant conglomerate coffee enterprises, so this is a nice place to go and support the little guys. read more

Come here weekly, at least, with my girlfriend. Love this place! Biscuit sandwiches are good! Coffee is great! I love the fact that the design is focused around a more "homey" feeling ie. Couches, fireplace, boardgames, etc. Great place to go with family, friends, gfs, bfs,whoever. What's even better is that they have live music weekly! Butler's Coffee is a tucked away coffee shop that offers many activities. I was first introduced to Butler's when I started going to the ON improv shows that were there the first wed of the month, from there I figured out they have many different shows including live music and open mic night. Sometimes me and my friends just go there at night to hang out and pay board games. The atmosphere is so chill, it's just relaxing. I love the whopper freeze! read more

A lot of people are talking about the Coffee but I want talk about the food, I tried the flatbread pizza and it was best and healthiest flatbread pizza I've ever had. I also tried the Greek wrap and Tuna wrap both were incredible, everything I've eaten is healthy with all fresh ingredients, I keep going back for the food, deserts are awesome and house coffee is awesome too. I'm going to be as honest as I can in this review: So here's the whole story from the top: Me and my friend are doing a goodwill shop, and we decide to pop next door for a cup of coffee. We see that the cashier is a woman, and the cook is a woman, and that's cool. So we start talking to the cook, and she says she's the owner! Oh cool! I enjoy supporting women-owned businesses. Especially ones that hire women! cool! I order my usual: a doubleshot espresso. Here's where things get odd. The owner grinds the beans, then pulls the portafilter down, and its full of OLD COFFEE GROUNDS. What! The last dude's coffee grounds are still there! What! She bangs them into a knockbox, and then puts the new coffee right on top. hmm.... So Inside my head I'm thinking, "okay... so she had dirty stale coffee grounds sitting for who knows how long inside the portafilter.. then didn't even rinse it, she just threw fresh coffee on top.. maybe she forgot, i'll forgive her" Anyways, she runs my shot, gives it to me, and then- nothing. I watch her and she starts cleaning the counter. So.... If you got time to clean the counter, you got time to clean the portafilter, right? Anyways, I try to be polite, because i'm like "hey if she messed up the exact same mistake twice in a row, maybe this is a teachable moment". Besides she seems nice so why be rude? So i say to her, polite as i can, "Hey, you dont wanna like, throw out those old coffee grounds right now and rinse the portafilter?". She looks at me odd, then rinses out the espresso portafilter. I dont know the whole thing seemed odd. Usually when you make espresso you throw away the puck immediately and then rinse the portafilter. Maybe even run a tiny bit of water through so the grouphead doesnt cook the oils onto it. Anyways, so the people are nice, the coffee equipment and beans are nice, but the employees may need a tiny bit of training/teaching. Oh, and I heard that when I "supported" women, they don't actually pay their employees. It's like, an unpaid internship, and then when they die Jesus pays them. Or something. I'm not sure how christians work tbqh. If they actually do pay their employees I'll edit that out. read more

I am so super happy the AV finally has a independently owned coffee shop! It's super adorable, quiet and really comfy! Did I mention Free WiFi?! Food is really good and I think its awesome that they have board games for people to play there. Something that is super memorable is when I asked the really nice man to custom make me a certain food I had just had in Vegas. I came here with my 5 year old granddaughter and we both had a great time!! They have a nice play area for her and I was able to do my studying I love the music and the staff is very friendly!! I'm a semi regular and have been for years. There was definately a bit of a fumble when the shop changed owners. .. but they have come into their own and are still amazing. It's a peaceful place to enjoy a cup of coffee and all of their products first ingredient is love. I have a very specific diet, and they happily accommodate, unlike the big chain places. And very happy to see healthy breakfast and lunch menu items too! !! My only wish is that we can log in somewhere and order remotely so it could be ready for the occasional quick pick up, or when making a large order. .. thanks butlers read more

Friendly people, well kept space, some tasty drinks, fun board games, and great live music on the weekends. I don't really drink coffee, but some of their sodas are delicious, and I've tried friends' coffees, teas, and lattes, and they were surprisingly quite good as well. Just remember that if you're there for a show, it gets PACKED, so try to get there early or you'll have trouble finding a place to sit! read more

When I'm in Palmdale on business, I'm going to come here from now on. I had an Americano and a breakfast burrito. When I walked in the man behind the counter greeted me warmly and walked me through the menu (for both coffee and food there are a lot of options). Great coffee and awesome atmosphere! Normally if I'm getting coffee it's because I'm on my way somewhere, so their location isn't very convenient for me. If it was easier to access I'd probably go more often. Their customer service is good but nothing that sets the apart. They know their drinks and they get my orders right but engaging in conversation seems less than genuine. The best part of Butlers besides the great rich flavored coffee (rich coffee is my thing!) is their weekly band seasons. They have a stage that bands play at that is actually really cool big city feel to it. read more

The drinks here were great. They also had artwork for sale and had many games you could play. I ordered the mocha coffee and enjoyed it. My girlfriend ordered white chocolate raspberry drink and it was tasty. My husband is not a coffee drinker so we come here as opposed to a chain coffee house because of the smoothies. So my only complaint is that lately the flavor smoothie he prefers is not available. Awesome place! Loved the ice cream and especially the amazing Banana Nut coffee that was just brewed when I walked in. The atmosphere is excellent and they were also playing my favorite style of jazz music! I learned it was Pandora being piped in, and they helped me get the name of the channel the music was on so I could add it to my own collection. It's a nice, quiet place with refreshments crafted by the owners' own recipes. Majority of the time, it's hot coffee for me but i would recommend the Icy, Cold "Oreo Frappe". For hot drinks i like going to the "Green Tea Chai Latte", there is no other place that makes it like these guys. For families, small children have a little play place in the corner with games. Grab an Ice Cream Cone for the kids, sit with friends and play the board game the owners have stocked.
